- Hello everyone in this episode I will show you how to repair the electric and heated seats of your car at home and easily without special tools.

Mine is 2011 Ford Taurus i just bought. I checked to see if heated seat works because it was not included in specs of car. It does work on passenger side but when i press button for driver side the light doesn't stay on. I will check fuses and cables under seat before winter. I have another Taurus 2015, both ac and heated seats work great in that😊

@@franciscomartos2189 no I never brought it in to have it looked at sorry! I did read there was a recall for 2011 Ford Taurus heating elements in the heated seats but I never found the time to bring it in. I'm suffering through the northeast winter as we speak. Car runs great otherwise with 127000 miles

Hello friend , try to check the heated module on your car, change it with another one from the same car and see if it's working on the other seetings.

Hi there, thanks for the video; my Lexus Es300h has this problem of heated seat, the driver side and I’m having a hard time getting it fix. It stays warm as long as the engine is running.

Cgelk everything I showed you in the video, if everything it's good related to the things I specified it means that you don't really have a problem, maybe it's a feature you must activate with a customization tool. Maybe it's normal to work only when engine it's running.
My Genesis Q80 has the same problem. The heater is on in the driver's seat while the settings are off. Advice please.
2017 jetta se, driver side. doesnt getting as hot at all. the passenger does get hot no problem. what could be the problem before i take into dealership?
Hello, first of all try the methods I showed you in this video, if none of this work try to replace the heated seats module, it's is located under the driver seat in the right corner. If it's not working even after doing this probably some of the wiring from inside the seat are broked and the heat doesn't go through them anymore.

Yes, its located right unde the driver seat în the right side, its a square box holded by a plastic clams to the seat, turn it clockwise to release it. Just look unde your seats and you will see it there.

Hi bro, probably one of the cables it's not making contact anytime, check the cables underneath the seats and see if there it's anything broked or loose

Search on the car manual for fuse locations and checking the parts I showed you in the video will probably help you
Was wondering if you wouldnt happen to know how to fix the seat leaver for raising or lowering the driver side seat? it seems to be stuck or something for me.
Hello, Probably you ll have to remove the seat completely from the car and work with it outside, because its easyer and you have more space to work with. Just remove the plastic cover from the lever and look for any broked wire or clips, or in the worst scenario the lever theets are worn out and you have to replace the entire mecanism or even the seats în some cases. @@manyooyooman my car has both the seat heater and power seat function linked to the same fuse… so maybe see if that is your issue🤷🏻♂️
Some of thoes 30-25-10-5 chips in my car are missing can that be the problem?
Probably not, but you can search in the car owners manual and see if you find there anything helpful, if the seats never worked from the first time when you bought the car you should also check them 🙏or in the worst case you don't have heated or electric seats.

You should check all the fuses I showed in the video, depends on your car it probably have more in different places, check all of them and after ur 100%sure all fuses ar good move forward to the wires from under the drives seat, you can also check heat module from under the driver seat.

Same thing was happening to my car. I was able to power my seat by bringing my own 12v power to the red/yellow wire. As for the heated seats, I’m not sure which wire powers them.
I just rented a 2019 CRV and the driver seat is hot. How do I turn it off?

No, I'd does not have to be reseted, you just replace the parts and you're good to go 🙏

+Aleksić Luka hello, you probably have a wire problem, in some cases the wires from inside the seats broke and the heat its no more uniform, check all the parts I showed you in the video and maybe you'll find the problem

Hello, check the fuse for the heated seats, it's hidded under the little compartiment under the steering wheel, if the fuse it's good try to change the heated contrôle module from under the driver seat.

I'm not sure which number, ita a 20 probably, right over the relay, it's better to check them all just to be sure 🙏

rare fault, if i start the seat heating with only contact key (no engine running) the dash have light but the seat doesnt work, but i start the engine before i run the seat heating it works perfectly

Hi bro, first of all check the fuses and see if there are any blown, after that check the heated seats module, in VW it's under the driver seats, on your car may be in a different spot, you need to find it and after that replace it with another one from another car like yours just to check if it's working. If your module it's also not working on another car like yours and before installing your module on the other car the seats worked and now they don't t work it's you need to replace your heated seats module. 🙏
@@HOWTODO0828 thank u can u tell me how to fix the powered mirror switch they are not moving . How do I fix that ?
If your glass or mirrors are electric and they are not working when you press or turn the switch you have to check the fuse and see if they are blown or not, after that you need to change the mirrors switch with a new one because it's not an expensive part and the problem can be with your buttons or switch.
