Enjoyed seeing your breakdown. It's cool to see someone that's spent countless hours refining their skills have access to these incredible products. It's not practical for me to put that much into the sport but it's a blast to see someone take all things to the next level.
I was surprised how much my AXYS 163 handling changed when I chopped the tunnel. I had no idea how much the tunnel was actually stabilizing the front in the deep snow. It definitely lifts the front end more even with no other changes, that's interesting to hear your choice in tunnels.
@@208SledHead 🤣 It's a lot of work. The only reason I took it on is I enjoy working in the shop and have quite a bit of TIG welding experience. I love the sled and don't have a reason to upgrade to a Matryx slash so it was worth the time. There's a video on my channel of the chop and welding in the added cooler.
Pro is for the people that want to go, as in up the hill LOL. Khaos is for wheelie boys in the meadows. Definitely doing that pipe mod from Carls on my 9R.
Sometimes I get a little confused by the verbiage. At 6:10 you said you love the 9R on a boost, but this is a 850 boost turned to a 900 boost correct? Not a 9R (lightweight flywheel and crank, etc) turned into a boost. Have you built an actual 9R boost yet?
With all the weight reduction stuff on a sled… I'm 6' 230lbs and only about 15% body fat, so you can shut your yaps about losing weight. Is the weight reduction stuff even worth the cost since I'm so heavy?
The answer is subjective. It may be worth it to some, and not worth it to others. You're the minority so try not to take everything to heart. There's a LOT of obese people in this world.
Sure going backwards gearing up. Should be running the 29/69 ratio for your elevation. 1-1 shift on QD2 is 121km/hr. You’re never going that fast in deep snow, why gear up. You’re losing efficiency. The 46/52 helix is not a very useful helix for backshift.
I would highly doubt he is running a stock helix. I think he probably knows what he is doing 😂 on his gearing and clutching. If he didn’t like it, he wouldn’t be running it. His sled also makes more power than a stock boost. Do you have a gearing chart for a 900 booster? 😂
@@BenSeinen yeah, I’m sure it’s not working out for him either 😂. With more horsepower and torque, you can run more aggressive clutching and gearing! He isn’t running a stock boost! Do you even listen to his videos?
i didn’t hear him mention helix angles. I did see it on the secondary, but secondary spring and primary weight profiles or where the weight is weighted also changes that shift.

We all know that when Chris builds a sled , it will be epic , and the places and people he rides with always epic .

I really didn't need to read this. Damnit.🤦😆😆

🤤 Every year i look forward to see what light weight build you have . 👍👍💰🎯 . jealous of what you have built hahah
Sick! stoked to see what the ultra lightweight is!!! and can we get some weights again? full ready to ride weight!
sick vid, I wanna see some closer shots of the edge x themed wrap on that 9R in the back ground.
Chris I have to ask how much does it cost to go all out and build a full carbon and titanium sled
Great work and dedication.
Hey Chris. Are you making out to the ditch banger nationals race at ERX motor park in February?
So rad thanks for the walk through!

So who did the 900 kit? Carl's Cycle?
Lightweight skid, IQS shocks, narrow small seat. Sounds like Chris is building himself a Catalyst 😉
You mean the Catalyst is imitating HIS builds. Chris has been doing this for years and years if you somehow haven't been paying attention.
I don't think anyone is trying to ride one of those.
Lmao hes been doing long before they came out with the catylist.
But it won’t grenade😂
Oookay pal, Cat went out of business forna reason.
What track speeds are you seeing under load?
the next snocheck

Hey Chris what would you recommend for more of a beginner trail maybe some off trails but not extreme like you
RMK 650 PR0
650 or 850 SP
@ thank you
Look how many sleds u got, can I just have one please lol
Dumb question from a non Polaris guy. Is this a 9r with a turbo kit or a 850 boost motor bored out to a 900???
900 kit on a boost 850.

Chris what is the difference in weight from the slp pipe and the pipe you put on

He explains in the video that they, SLP take the heat shield off and ceracote it for weight loss is all.
@@sotabear6334 actually it is Carl's Cycle that is doing that.

@@jeremyrobertson3041a pump gas tune on a 900 is less power then a race tune on an 850 boost. Thanks tips.
Still slowerr than the 03 xcr that those graphics copy.
