This guy is so underrated fir his prospecting skills and knowledge.👍
Like the old Donna Summer song.. He works hard for his Silver .. So hard for his Silver . Great video
Too bad copyright is so strict. It would be great to add soundbites like that
I want it all, that silver is so pretty

Young Miners die heard ! Old Miners die broke ! MeMiners keep finding the Good Stuff !!! Keep it up my friend !!!
Little pieces can be frustrating sometimes. They are good at hide and seek
I can’t get over how beautiful that silver is. Very exciting finds. I’d get fired up finding the smallest piece of them beauty’s!🤘😁🤘
We still do too! 😀
I hope to head there this fall. Awesome find..... thanks for the inspiration.
Gorgeous! Beautiful silver specimens.
Hell yes that just super fun to watch .great hunt
You really found some exceptional pieces Greig!
I love your videos! Thank you!
My father's family were from your area in Ontario. You are quiet, kind, quirky, and "I like"!
That is awesome!
@meMiner My great uncles, 7 of them were raised on a farm in lower Ontario. At WW1, two of the brothers split off and came to the States, one was my grandpa. I heard unending tales of their shenanigans growing up. The locations you go to are names from their stories! Most of them spent time in the mines.
Your videos are calm, full of your patience and good humor. I have been so happy to get to know you and your dogs thru the years. They have helped ground me, more often than not, in these crazy times. Thank you. It is not enough.
God bless you and yours. I pray for you when I watch your videos!
Laura
@@laurasnyder5926 Thanks for such a nice comment. Greig
Excellent video, fantastic finds.
Absolutely spectacular. 🤗 A couple really nice nuggets. ✌️😎
Wow!! When You turned that piece of ore around at the 6:08 mark in Your video, it looked like a Wolf howling at the Moon!! Impressive!
Nice specimens, that bit of float was amazing
Awesome looking stuff up there. Looks like some silver i used to smuggle out of Mexico when i was a kid helping Dad. Very dendritic.
i 've always want to have a sliced silver veined rock, so it's nice to see you find them. You find some great stuff, but your attitude is a rich vein too. I ve always brought home fossils and nice rocks from my cycling trips and I'm researching into a lost Roman silver mine in my area. Thanks
An old Roman mine would be very cool
Some very nice specimens Miner, looks like you made another trip to the Cobalt area.
Very nice finds Grieg. Boy.. that one small piece was playing 'hard to get'. But my goodness what nice specimens!
Yep, I like float silver. Great vid Greig! I detect a round 2 coming up at that location sometime soon lol!
The plaster silver story I once heard before, but meMINER explanation was so easier to understand....so very interesting...
Glad to hear it!
Great finds. You guys must be bathed in Deet! The bugs didn’t land on you.
The silver is beautiful.
Oh my!!! Your fave would be anybodies fave. You bet cha 😉
Oh and thanks for sharing my friend, I probably don't say it enough.
I like nice t6 see you looking so well, all the best from London UK.

Wonderful 👏🏻👏🏻 nices discoveries
The Motherload of silver nuggets, and Shelby there helping out all the way! They're beautiful 💟
Shelby helps to dig and more important thumps Ty with a stick. ;-)
@@meMiner oh noo poor Ty lol
Fantastic as always !!!!!!
I was just thinking I bet your wife just loves it when you rub those rocks / Silver on your jeans !!!!! LOL 😂
Usually, the pants go straight into the garbage. She doesn't like rock incrusted clothes in her machine.
@@meMiner you need a velcro Rock cleaner for your pants !!!!! LOL
If it makes sense on your part I'd love to see some sort of serie dedicated to etching and polishing nuggets to museuk quality pieces.
I am pretty sure I am not the only one interested in see what you can make pop out from some of those rocks 😁
(Edit) If not silver as I assume it is on the rare side of things native copper is also very fascinating 😍
Good idea
Thing's Worth Playing With. YOU GOT IT.
Very productive silver site
Helluva find. 👍
Olá Amigo , lindas peças ,seus cães são lindos , sucesso hoje e sempre 🤗👏👏👏👏
I have plenty of pieces from cobalt, such a great place to find silver 😀
I agree!
That's the biggest silver I've ever seen! You like,I like😄😄
Holy smokes and then some !!!
Time travel is sick
Nice video
Thanks
awesome...!!!
I wish I could find a bunch like that!
6:05 amazing, Just one after another. Beautiful. Side note: How did you not get bit by those blood suckers?
I do get bit. Worse, so do my dogs.
Beautiful Silver....Do you ever sell any of your specimens?
I collect for fun and don't have a store
The Jasper to your favorite piriite Amen Someone fell in like be with his silver again
I love the hunt. Doesn't really matter to me what it is for. ;-)
when it gets to a hundred bucks an ounce theres a corvette waiting in that hillside.cool.
Woot woot. ❤❤❤
If I may ask how do you extract the silver from the rock? I've been a rock hound for some time. Recently got a bit of metal detecting gear, more less going be trying in the same mines as the minerals but thought I'd see what anyone would have to say.
While it can be refined, I generally keep the nice specimens as-is or polish after slicing.
Eu gosto muito tambem
.
The sludge in the bottom of your saw ought to be fairly rich by now
I had some melted a few years ago and got a nice silver bar. ;-)
I would love buy one of your pieces of float silver to go with my gold nuggets. Let me know. Thanks Mike
I collect for fun and don't have a store.
SAAWEET!!👍
wow
Cool, loved every moment.
That was my stash, I threw those down the hill, every third rock of silver went for my stash but I never got the chance for getting it because I got drafted .
That specimen is worthy of any collection, the structure is amazing and its typical that I never get any praise for the design that's why I stopped forming it , my artistic flair was wasted on that silver so I went on and mixed up some crazy lace in Mexico which was an instant hit but stupid me didn't patent it, that was why I changed my name from pat pending, now I'm known as tall story, don't confuse that with the other writers name, he has no R's and probably can't sit down.
This one is quite deep, not everyone will understand tall story.
Symon, oh man you crack me up! Literally, I have to go buy some wrinkle cream now!😣😂 Wonderful “tall” comment, Sir….Blessings and love send from Canada 🙏🏼👋🏼🇨🇦

what metal detector are you using?
Minelab Equinox 800 in this video
Do you ever sale any of those rocks with silver?
Send me a message to meminerrocks@gmail.com and include a screen shot of what you want. I will pass you to either my wife or daughter to handle the sale. They will probably give you a better deal. I am a horrible business man. I do this for fun and love the hunt.
hello, I'm also looking for silver, and in the places where I'm looking, silver is found in shale. Do you have any advice on how to get rid of slate? Thanks
It depends on the quantity you are addressing and the form the silver takes. Where I am getting silver, the rock can be mechanically broken and the silver removed, sometimes as solid vein or leaf. Other areas it should be crushed and refined with acids. That is much more complex.
and that's exactly where I go. The silver ore must be crushed. It's a complicated process and I don't find much silver lining either. We are a small country and most importantly, everything here is deep underground and no one will allow us to mine. I envy you Americans. maybe I will finally be able to go to America and find something wonderful. Thank you for your reply and I'll keep my fingers crossed for further research. Your videos are great. Keep it up. David
@@TheMottamotta I am in Canada, but the rules are similar between the two countries.
@@meMiner yes canada sorry Beautiful country. I have friends in Vancouver. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to visit this country.
@@TheMottamotta All good. If you visit your friends, you will find there is lots of good collecting with them in BC
are we making a button?
Yes, you must go back for more.
You should checkout Rob Soltan's YT Channel and list some of your finds on his Mineral Exchange Auction Site. Awesome video as always!
Good advice. Thanks!
My dad has a chunk of lead that melted from a fire underground , Kinda looks like an icicle . 🐾👣✌️🌮🍺
any chance of letting me know where that spot is
Northern Ontario. ;-)
Now a question I don't believe I've asked, what is the purity of this silver you found today, and what would the impurity's be✌️ Napa California
These are high grade. When you see wire, it can be 97%. Typically, from this area, I would assume 50% silver if it shines when rubbed and combined with cobalt/arsenic and nickel, sometimes copper and then small percentages of other stuff such as gold, copper, niobium, zinc, etc. I have only had a few tested.
@@meMiner thank you Greig
@@meMiner rusty got the nugget tested that I sold him. 93.21% silver! 3.02% antimony and 0.61% bismuth and 3.17% iron
@@CobaltOntarioadventures I forgot about iron and antimony. Typically, bismuth is slight, but depends upon the mine. Very nice that the nugget was 93%. Silver that pure is quite rare
@@meMiner he was SUPER happy, until he checked the one from RU Hungries he bought lol
Two aspirins dude
for a headache?
What’s the chance of getting one of those nuggets?
Maybe next time. My wife made gifts of most of the silver from this video and I gave some to the nurses who looked after me last year in hospital.
I'm extremely happy for you! Incredible pieces.......told ya you were due! The Kraken unit scores....Slava Ukraini!!
i need to take some time and travel a bit next year, we wont be on this earth forever
You won't regret taking time for yourself
I'll just bet you do, 👍 👌 💛 😙 🥰
!
Making us wait... lol
You also said "you won't notice" the missing footage, does that apply to me as well or no? LOL
Grrrrrrrrr, Greig, Don't do this, it's 01.02 am.
@@CobaltOntarioadventures I lost some of the footage you took after replacing the card. And of Tim
@@CobaltOntarioadventures I loved how you turned the camera back to yourself and shook your head a few times

@@meMiner thank you!!!
are you gonna throwsome in acid? lol never mind 23:22
Ever want to melt some of your silver down to a nice shiny ingot?
I
I had some melted into bars of Dore. It would be nice to refine some for higher grade
Looks like y’all are getting eaten alive. That’s some nice silver!
It is worse for the dogs. Their dark fur really attracts the bugs
Rub em down with citronella dog collars--seriously--it can help. Some herbs safe for dogs are also useful.
Ok Greig,
We need you to carefully edit all the fly buzzes out of your videos! You are obviously used to them, but when they buzz inside my headphones, it makes my nuts pucker, and not in the good way, like when we liiike the silver. The bird noises in the background are great so just dub them over the buzzes please.
Maybe I could be slurping hot coffee the whole time to cover up that sound. lol
