Eleonor Escrupolo not all my puto has risen but most of it you can add more baking powder make sure your baking powder it's still good meaning it's not past by best before..
+sugar&sprinkles how much more should i add for the baking powder? I tried again today and still it did not rise and the bottom part was rough and uncooked. And also the color has become brown not white. I wonder when can i make a perfect puto.

Just few tips.make sure your rice is at very fine, baking powder has to be best by the date. Increase more B powder next time and let the mixture set for 20 minutes before steaming HTH.
