Buckingham and Kensington Palace have declined to comment on an ‘explosive’ new book about the Royal Family.
The book, 'Endgame’ which is out in the UK today, has a number of controversial claims about members of the royal family.
Its author Omid Scobie, had previously co-authored ‘Finding Freedom’ in 2020, an unofficial biography of Harry and Meghan’s exit from the Royal Family.
Amongst the claims, Scobie suggests the monarch is in a “fight for survival” with “distrust and simmering animosity” between the King and Prince William.
The book also claims William see’s King Charles as merely a “transitional” king and one that will “pave the way” for his own future reign.
Scobie also launches a scathing attack on the Princess of Wales who is accused of being “cold” to Meghan.
Amongst the accusations Princess Catherine is described as Meghan’s “cries for help” and allegedly “shivering” whenever her name is mentioned.
However, the book has been branded as mere ‘character assassination’ by critics and royal insiders and described as vicious in nature.

This is true. They released a statement after the Oprah interview but I think that's because it was Harry. I can't remember anytime they've ever released a statement on an actual book. And even Harry's book didn't get that If my memory serves me.

I've watched other UA-camrs reading and reacting to it. Seems like Mr Plastic Fantastic likes to contradict himself. In one breath he says King Charles should abdicate and William become King, because he's the one to modernise the Monarchy. Then in the next breath he says William is power hungry.
He is literally all over the place. You'd think he has a split personality, and they were each writing a different chapter. It's not entertaining to read. Which is probably why I'm only on the second chapter.

Six chapters in and this book belongs in the bin that I rescued it from. This book is a love letter to himself about how great he is, how accomplished his career has been, and it's everyone else's fault that he's not taken seriously as the journalist he claims to be. It has pictures in the back of the book that have snide remarks from him under all of them. My 10-year-old brother has more integrity than Scobie and he blames his flatulence on the dogs!

I certainly hope scooby doo did not spend his advance on this book because he is now in serious jeopardy of a defamation case by naming Charles in the Dutch copies of his book. He made the comment that it was against the law for him to release the name in the UK which is why he did it there probably thinking it would spur people to buy it to find out more. He could not have made a bigger mistake considering the Dutch law will go very harshly on him for defamation of a public figure being Charles. Save your pennies scabby!

I’m British born, having been raised when Queen Mary alive and the late King George was on the throne, and seen a lot of change over the years. Looking where we are today it’s sad to see the negativity created. If Prince Harry and his wife truly no longer wish to be a positive part of the Royal family then the Prime Minister should ask parliament to remove the Sussex titles as neither are doing anything to support or promote the County of Sussex, which is what they should do as holders of that title, thereby rendering them unable to use the titles for personal and financial gain. They will then be of no interest to the media etc allowing the serving members of the Royal family to do their work.

It’s bizarre that the book talks like Catherine is evil for not immediately fawning over Meghan and being her BFF. You have to earn real friendship with time and loyalty. Only a top tier narcissist who sees all relationships as transactional would have such expectations.
Also, why does Catherine have to drop everything and help Meghan because she’s “having a hard time” (aka the exact same experience everyone in the BRF has had with the press)? It's pretty well established that Megan was going to use any method possible to have people feel sorry for her if they didn't like her because she's not a very likeable person. It's just like when she made a comment that Catherine would have rather not shared her lip balm with her or whoever said that comment.
