The last Spider-Man movie that feels like it’s produced by people who wrote out the starting plot and let the story write itself. Now, Marvel movies, especially the Disney ones, just feel so tied to random overproduced ideas.

I feel that this theme is so underrated… it invokes Max as a very confused individual who feels odd, strange, and isolated from everyone else. As the theme goes on, it makes the feeling that he’s spiraling deeper into his own demise like a rushing current surging harder as it continues down a circuit
The song echoes his inner voices loud, he’s being betrayed “he lied to me, he’s dead to me, the enemy inside of me” that is loose, a normal person gets pulled away from a more soft sound into a highly electrical fuzz.

I honestly feel bad for max. He was a nobody, and needed a friend, he was wronged by people. Electro needs a redemption. Hopefully he gets one in No way Home
It was definitely a convalescing of a lot of bad things at once and then for him to lose his humanity and have no way back not that he would want one since he never really had any human connection but now had the power to make people feel how he did to force them to understand them but of course then what....
Gwen's death was also really well done. And the character moments were also pretty nice. The biggest problems of the movie were: -The writing of Harry Osborn -cutting away from the last fight -the story of Peters parents -removing the scenes that would have made the parents story a bit more bearable. But don't pretend like it was all shit. Webb just got fucked over by Sony trying to make this movie more of a setup for future movies than a character-driven story.

Max Dillion in the Amazing Spider-Man is a great example of the world creating a villain. Max was the nicest person imaginable who did everything he could to do what was right. But no matter how hard he tried the world kept pushing him to his breaking point and rocked him to his core. The world betrayed Max and turned him into Electro. It wasn’t Max’s choice, he didn’t choose to be what he ended up becoming, the world decided his role as the villain of the story.

And one of my friends super power was to control electricity and could turn into electricity (basically same as electro). The thing about this score is that it starts small, which shows how Max was like before his horrific accident. He was like a nobody to everyone else. Then, it begins to grow bigger, as he is no longer Max, he is Electro. He keeps charging himself until he can withstand more electricity than ever.

As much as I love Tom as Spider-Man, this hits differently. I remember when this movie first came out and I watched it non stop and this song was my ringtone. Was really disappointed when they didn't make TASM 3.
I actually agree with you about this movie, its one of my favorites. I was ok with the villains probably because unlike with spiderman 3 they didnt try to finish their character arcs in one movie and they had room to grow later on but thats just my personal beef. I feel kind of bad for the ASM series tho because apparently they left so much of the movie on the cutting room floor that it changed the entire feel of them. I looked into the deleted scenes for everyone and it fleashed out the characters a lot better. If they replaced the stalking scene with those I bet it would have aced
