Man this guy is a gem. What a great human being. There are little things I noticed about his approach to serving people. Even though he is Christian, he used the term "Your God" meaning he understands and respects others beliefs. He also makes it clear that his way is not "the way". Everyone has their own internal compass that guides them. All anybody else can do for anyone else is say what worked for them and maybe use some language that starts to get the other persons own internal compass going. Super cool dude, I hope to be as grounded as this man some day.

One of the greatest messages here was at 47 minutes. I see so many people who are waiting for direction or advice or something....when you learn to make decisions on the fly and have the real confidence to do so it's such a freeing feeling. Some people never really get to that point in life. Don't get me wrong, sometimes "that choice" is to seek advice or expert opinion but other times you have to decide, on the spot, with the info you have available. Giddy up:)

Didn't finish to the end, however, his advice on allowing the feeling of pain and discomfort to take over just helped me complete my cover letter which I have been struggling to complete for weeks. My mind kept wanting to escape. Chadd made me realize that I have been expending huge mental energy trying to stay focused on a task I did not want to complete. Very helpful mindset indeed, much appreciated.

His discipline and understanding that the tongue is like a rudder that steers your spirit, your body and your mind. “If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder whenever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.” James 3:2-5

However, I think people don't realize just how insanely fit these guys are and also to happen to have elite genetics (they don't get easily injured) If you're not in absolutely insanely good shape, or your body isn't recovering fast enough, you don't even have to quit the instructors will just drop you.
