I might be wrong about this, but I could see that the outer most lanes weren't getting as much damage to them as the inner grass lanes. I think this could work for a bit longer if you added like one extra gattling to the outer lanes. I don't think the cattails are doing much tbh except for shooting down balloon zombies. It's a decent strat, but not one that will last forever.
this strategy is unfortunately not sufficient past 40 waves, you either need gloom shroom or cob, those that deal damage on multiple zombies at a time rather than only damage the front. Otherwise it wont be sufficient against walls of giga gargantuars
