I tried using a similar strat, and I find that both the cattail and the umbrella aren't really nescessary. Maybe it was just rng but the glooms were enough aswell as the melon launchers
That's the kind of strategy I want. Cob cannons are powerful but only relying on them is not good since other plants are also powerful. Spikerocks are powerful. If you have them in all four lanes, you don't need to be scared of Zombonis. There are only 2 threats: Jack in the box zombie and Gargantuars. Spikerocks also work well with winter melons, gloomshrooms and fumeshrooms since they all are good against hordes of zombies. Cattail have only two advantages 1. can shoot all lanes including backwards by planting them in one lane (good to assist ground lanes since less zombies in pool lanes and cattails can only be planted in pool) 2. Can shoot down balloon zombies, better than cactus and blover. But cattail's biggest weakness is hordes of basic and other low level zombies. That's why cattail works well with spikeweed/spikerock since spikeweed/spikerock can take out hordes of basic zombies. Cattail can counter 2 zombies: Balloon zombie and digger zombie. Ground lane more zombies, pool lane less zombies is also a point to consider other 2 plants: gloomshroom is too short-ranged, star-fruit shoots 5 directions but normal damage and fixed trajectory. Gatling pea is powerful but single-target. Pairing them with torchwood has a weakness in which it doesn't work well with winter melon/iceshrooms and thaw frozen zombies + Don't underestimate potato mine. It is too op. It can take out digger zombies and Zombonis at the cheapest cost. Its slow recharge time can be solved with imitator but adjust what to imitate like between it and puffshroom
Wow Extreme mode again... #100000flags!!!

I love. This
Why do you need that umbrella leaf? 6 glooms are enough to kill a bungee
I think it’s because bungees can insta steal plants
