Thank you Nicole. You are brave. I am in a similar situation from an older, ex military neighbor Dan that I never dated. I went to the police 3 times and none investigated it and dismissed it. I also told the security guard at our complex in Destin, Fl and he did nothing. I quit my job, moved to Ga and the harassment continues. Most police are macho and don't care about women's safety or too lazy to investigate that he moved to Ga and to go talk with him.
There needs to be really tough laws around stalking. If someone was physically assaulted then the police would be right on it. Why is it that stalkers are allowed to cause psychological harm to someone and the victim is told just to document it? You only have to look at all the stalking case’s overseas such as the young girl who was shot down by her stalker while working in a UK department store to see that stalking and abusive behaviour is very dangerous. I remember in my twenties when an ex boyfriend turned up outside my unit and refused to leave. When I called the police, they told me it was a civil matter nothing to do with them. I had to go through months of coming home from work hoping he wouldn’t be there after getting constant texts during the day.
Thank you for your work I had to get a lifetime protection order against my brother the First police officer I encountered was condescending about what I was going through even family gave me a hard time so thank you for shining a light on this subject
I had a stalker hack my online accounts, extract my data and attempt to extort me for money and s*x in exchange for not sharing embarrassing information publicly... It gets pretty full on...
They to should be locked up for life there’s a woman who did it that is in Melbourne and they jailed her for 7 years I think now she is out doing it again.
This happens on the central coast and it’s terrifying because technology is making it possible for people who simply can’t get it through their own minds that in Australia it’s illegal.
So wat did you actually do to go to prison years my friend ? u look like someone who has been in there for a long time wit that look u gave at the start of the video, i guess your a tuffy eh, like did u have your smokes in your shoulder back in the day buddy? just wondering nothing more .. thank you n stay strong wont you.
