As an English man I love anything Aussie crime related and have watched Abbo many times, what a top boy and could listen to him for hours, actually I have from many of his interviews.
Your interviewing skills have developed rapidly, Gary. I really enjoyed this one. My one suggestion (as an editor but not of this type of content)--I've seen you do this in a few of them (and I know why you do it)--I don't think you need to morally justify your reason for including content (e.g., when you stopped the talk about the stabbing). Your viewers (or listeners) should be smart enough to get it. If the ex-cop in you compels you to do that, maybe add a prelude at the beginning or something at the end. The way you carry yourself in the interviews and within the conversation make your compassion and your moral position clear. You're a good person and the "why" comes across without the explanation.
Graham is a legend. Some good advice id reccomend tho Gary is to let the person youre interviewing speak. Youre cutting him off early at times and tripping him up. Let the man flow naturally.
I love this pod cast this and spainian are far the best in this country and in fact the world cheers Gary and Abo great yarns glad life's Cruise for you both
I know it's a podcast about crime and maybe I'm the only person NOT interested in crime but intensely interested in this man's childhood and parents and ancestry and trying to understand what led him into a life of violence. Seems every time he began to talk about his background you cut him off and didn't let him finish. I guess you're all excited by crime rather than compassion. Now I know his stepfather's name I can take a look at the military service in his stepfather's family and gain a broader perspective.
At 9:30 Graham describes himself as a See-er. I'm assuming he means a Seer, "a person of supposed supernatural insight who sees visions of the future." This has saved his life multiple times, providing him insight of upcoming attempted murders on him. I heard him describing some of these attempted killings. It's a very fortunate skill.
I thought that was an interesting comment also,I’m not into psychic abilities and so forth but I do believe that certain people develop a survival instinct and an understanding of particular personalities and their behaviours, motivations etc. With this individuals vocation that he lived and experienced,he had to have his ‘antenna’ constantly tuned in to the highest frequency.
Gary needs to explain why he gave the foster father a copy of his first interview, half an hour before he gave the second interview. Shocking police work Gary.
If Underbelly badness portraying Gary has any truth to it God that show does nothing but make you look like the biggest dropkick 🤣🤣i loved your podcasts until I watch your character on that show...
Abo ! Being alive and out of jail is pretty rare, most of his era are either dead or in jail. He doesn’t tell porkys either, his word is viable to me !
Mr Henry seems like an interesting bloke, cant wait for part 2, I could listen to him talk all day long.
Here after watching Isaac’s podcast with Abo. This is brilliant stuff seeing two polar opposites sit down and have a mature conversation about life.
Same
Try watching gypsy tales podcast with abo as well. It's top notch

So much that he will not expose the true killer(s) of William Tyrell!!!
Because it's his mates.
Ex cop or serving cop. All the same. Can’t be trusted.
Thank you guys , ripper podcast. Thanks Mr Henry and Gazza.

Police informant and in their pockets.
Certainly not a true criminal, not a good bloke.
Mate exactly what I was going to write.let them talk stop cutting him off.
In Gary's defence he needs to be able to control the narrative.
Awesome I've been waiting for this one for over a year now .... 👍👍👍
Not condoning actions ? Every Police force in Australia has consistently broken many of the laws they are meant to uphold.
Do you know who Gary Jubelin is? Do you know who Graham Henry is? Both are at opposite ends of the spectrum
@@AuzzieArtyst I know one of them very well.
@@billymack333 all governments are just big gangs anyway

Spanian’s podcast is surprisingly really good
Graham is a real old school gangster not like the tic toc Muppets who claim to be today.
Social media Gangsters
@@aaronmaytom6667 this guy was no social media gangster.
He was definitely one of the country's most notorious.
I wasn't taking about Graham himself
I was replying to the tic tic Muppets
Have met Graham a few times, hes a real top fella, had a harsh and brutal life but didnt know much better back in the day

This podcast is fantastic Gary. Awesome to finally hear a cop/except able to speak the way you and your mates do.
The majority of men in jail never had a positive male role model in their lives.
Thank you.Great channel
Nice work 🙏🏽 enjoying the podcasts Gary keep it up mate
Take a drink ever time Henry say "you know"
Thanks for that idea, just polished off a bottle of tequila in 3 minutes

When's part 2 out Gaz?
Bill treacy R.I.P
Love the chat , really good listen
what watch is that?
Watched all 4 fascinating to listen to Abo.
I noticed that he most definitely has a Koori accent in other interviews, but this is the first time I've heard it discussed beyond the nickname.
I've watched them all and for the next 4 weeks I will until I go away for who knows how long then when I come home I'll catch up on them
Graham, is the new book out yet?
Gary needs to explain why he gave the foster father a copy of his first interview, half an hour before he gave the second interview. Shocking police work Gary.
Did Gary resign from the force?
The part they beeped out
He said the names in another interview
