Been working on a few channel ideas in the background hence the big gap! Passat update next, and also make sure to check out CAR VERTICAL and use code 'TRH' to save 20%: www.carvertical.com/gb/landing/v3?b=1e4c9523&a=Hamza&voucher=trh
@TRHamza what’s up brother can you please please sell me your entire cc 3.6L Passat Haldex harness for some reason I cannot find one in the US please I’ll email you
You need to get yourself a media blasting cabinet. Will cut down on cleaning time and parts will look like literally new. I hope there isn’t going to be much trouble with wiring and this will be on the road soon.
Hamza.... whats going on update the people please. I'm planning to buy a Scirocco and implant a VR6 into it with two turbos watching you do it is a big help
@TRHamza It will be nice to see if you can use Clear hoses so we all can see how much rubbish comes out from there. You're doing g a Great job, and keep up the good work, mate. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my vw. Eos
Great video I like how detailed it is. One thing I will say is please please invest in a shot blaster the quality level of your work will go up. And each build will go up and up. Keep it up.
Your filming is top notch 👌 everything from the explanations to the time lapse to show us the cleaning! Even the overlay of car vertical whilst removing the engine was a nice touch!!
There not mate, if you look back you will see he has swapped out the wheel hubs for the alloy one's of the pasat (not a 2 minute job) but they will be sick when finished.
They are a direct bolt on, as are porsche 18z, but with the 18z you can't use alloy hubs and you have to grind 4-5mm off the inside mounting face of the calipers. and use 17z pads with the r discs
Mate i love the attention to detail you put in these builds, everything is done so neat and you even lay everything out in place on the table for us all to see, great for anyone with OCD 😂, really enjoying this build tho as a scirocco r owner myself and my brother once having a r32 which i always said i would love that sound of engine in my car.
Been waiting for this the scirocco is really coming together really well can't wait for the complete project and a good exuast, lots of support from South Africa brother,💥🔥👌👍🤝💪
Nice work Hamza, Scirocco is coming along nicely, I will be getting into the VW Golf scene shortly , a buddy of mine has a auto business and gave me a 2002 Golf GLS, nice car only has 80k miles on the clock and all the options, it is in great shape, it has allot of stone chips on the front bonnet and bumper so i am getting those repainted for about 200 sterling and it just needs a good once over which I'll get a start on to clear my garage this weekend, then get it inside and start on it, silver met, with graphite, it has the boring 2 litre 4 pot and 4 speed auto, it'll keep me from getting speeding tickets and is more economical on fuel, so i guess this is the good part of all of it , and your right VW so much is the same like all my Volvo's are, it's all interchangeable which makes it better at the wreckers when you need a good used part or FB marketplace, 👍 wished they'd have sold the new Scirocco in Canada , i would own one for sure
Who knows maybe you'll start seeing imported Sciroccos soon🤔if I remember correctly Canada has a 15 year import rule and the oldest mk3 Sciroccos are 2008 so they can be imported to Canada now 🤷🏽♂️
Always enjoyed your VAG content but not watched for a while, really loving the content now you have a unit so it’s binge time ! Also nice to watch someone who enjoys messing/modifying with every day VAG stuff as most blokes my age in their 40’s don’t get it. Got a Transporter and recently bought a mk6 GTi cheap with a knackered mechatronics, sorted it by buying a complete box out of a stolen recovered car cheaper than a new mechatronics 👍🏻 Just wish there was more VW breakers down south 😂
This is coming together nicely. I also like your attention to detail on the jobs you would do if this was a keeper. Looking forward to your next installment.
Well you've certainly shown the build a level of respect.... Whilst I suggested (in the past) installing a Whiteline anti lift kit or something similar.. That TT unit does look far more substantial with less play than the original... You're clearly made for this type of content by the way you still smile when talking of literally dropping an engine... I hope you very proud my bro.... I appreciate the montage B roll. This build is so cool.
hamza i’m loving this content ! i look forward too seeing the next vid as soon as i watch the latest🤣, i do have a question did this scirocco come with the mk7 golf steering wheel or did you fit it ? curious if it was plug and play 💎
Your knowledge on the VAG cars is immense and quite impressive, would love to see what you would think of Porsche in particular Cayennes and Panemeras. Either way your content is great and always a pleasure to watch💪🏼
Might have got this wrong but I'm pretty sure you said you're using the original springs? The weight on the front is going to be a lot higher? You're going to need a heavier duty spring? The Passat one might be a bit too much but might work
This build is gonna be insane Hamza props to you man the hard work that goes into this is insane!! Side note: are those CC Headlights for sale? I desperately need a pair.
Assalamualaikum brother Hamza, I watched all the 4 parts videos, really interesting swap and these explanations are very helpful, thank you! One question please am thinking to make same swap to my mk2 Fabia vrs, any idea if the 3.6 vr6 engine can fit into Fabia chassis?, warmest regards from Dubai

Hamza.... whats going on update the people please. I'm planning to buy a Scirocco and implant a VR6 into it with two turbos watching you do it is a big help
Mate, whilst the engine is off. You should really do a heater matrix flush. And see how much rubbish comes out of Heater matrix.
Never thought about that! Ill look into it
@TRHamza It will be nice to see if you can use Clear hoses so we all can see how much rubbish comes out from there. You're doing g a Great job, and keep up the good work, mate. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my vw. Eos
Flush not flash
I'm a simple man. Hamza uploads, i click!

Who knew Mk8 Golf R brakes are a direct fit to a Mk5 Gti. lol. Hamza you the man!

Excellent as usual
Real stuff by a real guy
Love the update. Keep the content up. Your knowledge on the rebuild is remarkable
5:25 - don't forget sealant. Don't want it falling out.
I put Mk8 GTI clubsport brakes on my Edition 35. Same as the R but they are red. The 2 pots are a massive upgrade over standard
Great video Hamza the build is progressing well so far, looking forward to the next video on the Passat✌️
Been waiting for this the scirocco is really coming together really well can't wait for the complete project and a good exuast, lots of support from South Africa brother,💥🔥👌👍🤝💪
Loving the series man! Those blue brakes are gonna look miles better 😂
Oh look the other crazy Scirocco build guy is here😂loving the series of both of these the 3.6 swap and your 1.4 TSI big turbo build

Wow well done you're making it look so easy cant wait for the next one!
Absolutely love the content and explanations looking forward to the next one. Keep them coming!
21:34 - don't do those up tight until the car is on the ground bearing it's weight or the bushes will rip.
This build is going to be something special, cant wait to see the progress

Back to 1080p video why hamza? I loved the look of 4k it was such vibrate and bright imagery
Another great video, thanks for all the tips and knowledge you share in your video's. Definitely giving me ideas in what I can fit to my car. 💙🚙💨
No part 5 video available for this built?
Do u run it awd?
You need to upload more often bro. Your vids are too good.
Awesome content!! Tho wouldn't those discs rub to caliper carriers when they are hot? I thought the spacing looked too little between them.
Smashing it my bro keep it up 💯
Awsome work man! Does anyone know where you can find parts list with diagrams and torque specs for VWs?
Awesome build Hamza love it.

Sick build
TR get a large ultrasonic bath for cleaning parts
I don’t think you’re supposed to use an impact on the cv axle bolts hamza but it sounded like you were gonna replace them along with the axles anyway
Assalamualaikum brother Hamza, I watched all the 4 parts videos, really interesting swap and these explanations are very helpful, thank you!
