I’ve stopped drinking and smoking after 10 years, for 15 days. Although it may not be a long time to some, it’s the first time I’ve made the decision for myself. I've been reading more physical books and defintely getting in my bible AND taking notes because when you take notes, especially physically writing them out you implement what you're reading in your brain and it'll come in your mind in times of need. For me, when i was starting my journey, i was addicted to social media. Like knee deep. I knew all the memes, all the trends and shit like that. I was on IG just watching reel after reel, on youtube short after short. I even did a little test. I did my normal scrolling till i found a motivational video, took like 20 videos of bare sillyness to find one. I liked it, went to the page and like more motivational videos. In less than 5 mins it started recommending more motivational videos. I say that to say this: yall, you dont have to completely remove all aspects of social media. Sometimes you just gotta start small. Change your feed. Start liking more post/videos that’s aligned with what you want. Right now, my whole feed is gym stuff. A complete 180 from “im going to drink and drive tonight”. Like c’mon, people making a joke of drinking and driving. Thats insane. No one should be subjected to that. Bless yall☝🏾☝🏾

It's really hard to get away from all the over sexualiation in life. Porn is free and the music on the radio is hyper fixated on sex. I stopped my addiction to looking at porn and trying to be better about lustful thinking. My goal in life is to find a real one who wants me as much as I want them. It's hard to find real ones that share the same goals. I feel this a lot man. Keep up the good work.

As a young lady staying off social media for the most part helps. I usually read most of the time so I wouldn’t be on there much but I definitely was tempted! Especially Twitter. I've been reading more physical books and defintely getting in my bible AND taking notes because when you take notes, especially physically writing them out you implement what you're reading in your brain and it'll come in your mind in times of need. You really have to pray and not quickly either, it's hard but you need to let it out because God is listening and it's been benificial for me! on top of working out and getting things done! Once you start doing things you've been holding off on you change your mindset! Also cutting off or talking less to people I don’t think benefit me or tempt me with stuff definitely helps because yeah

The USA tiktok algorithm is legit softcorn. Almost none of that on the Kenyan algorithm. I was on IG just watching reel after reel, on youtube short after short. I even did a little test. I did my normal scrolling till i found a motivational video, took like 20 videos of bare sillyness to find one. I liked it, went to the page and like more motivational videos. In less than 5 mins it started recommending more motivational videos. I say that to say this: yall, you dont have to completely remove all aspects of social media. Sometimes you just gotta start small. Change your feed. Start liking more post/videos that’s aligned with what you want. Right now, my whole feed is gym stuff. A complete 180 from “im going to drink and drive tonight”. Like c’mon, people making a joke of drinking and driving. Thats insane. No one should be subjected to that. Bless yall☝🏾☝🏾
