I was paid to get a job done but work has turned into a social outing where people come to work to talk and decorate and gossip. Those that come to work to do a job and go home are looked down on, we are rude and don't talk really they are mad we don't listen to them talk. I don't leave my house for 8 hours a day to come listen to another person tell their stories or to decorate the office I just need to do my job, collect my pay and go home. Some people need a social work life and those people need to partner up and leave us alone that just came in to do a job....so what type is that?

D/SC as a consultant professional engineer. Learning this highlighted the good balance the D brings with being results-driven, with the SC, being able to take a moment to really reflect on the solution me and my team develop.
I am an S and C, married to an off the charts D… can be very challenging when he wants change at the drop of a hat and I drag my feet , but is rewarding when we are able to talk things through and be creative together.

My tone would be consistent, I'd talk slow, I'd present with data/options/numbers. My only drawback about Disc is that it can be subjective. Focus on the strengths of both types. Many types they wish they were more S. Calmer, more centered, more chill, better at consistency, to name but a few. Embrace these gifts.

Google "Free DISC test". That should give you multiple options. The better version is Extended DISC. Google it and find it for your country. It's somewhere around $50 depending on country.

For the past 15 years, I have really worked on changing my personality to include all of these traits. I could honestly say that I can be all of these in one single day. The only specific one that isn't my strongest or I may still lack the most is "D". I can be a D when it comes to work 100%. Although, outside of work and amongst family and friends, I am not a D bag... I mean D. Even when it comes to introvert and extrovert. I am a mixture of both. A higher percentage of the time, I am an extrovert. But, sometimes I feel I need to be introverted... I am weird... A f#*k'n unicorn creature... 🤷♂

Due to life circumstances and demands, and many things I've been gone through ,it seems that personality changes.regardless of your own nature or family forcing you to be someone of certain type because of themselves being like that. You can change a type temporarily or always be aware of it,(train to be aware) but normally gets pulled back t0 your natural type.
