No. 1 is considered a run off of the Worlds Most Expensive Perfume which I think was a crystal bottle with diamonds. Clive Christian became famous for that in the 2010’s
X Clive Christian would be my last fragrance if I had to choose. The only other fragrances that come very close to quality and addictiveness are Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau De Parfum , Aesop HWYL , crown royal sultan and Monocle 1 Hinoki Comme des garcon. maybe Aventus.. like the first batch of Aventus.
Hey @butterflyintheSky, so X isn't for you? Funny, on how much I love this fragrance🥰 I think it might be the heavy spicy notes that I enjoy. Your other line up though is awesome, a BIG YES to each of them! Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback👊🏼
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I think you misunderstood me or it’s my convoluted writing skills lol. I think Clive Christian X is the best cologne that has ever been made. I love it and try not to wear it so much. I honestly cannot compare X to any cologne I’ve ever smelled. It’s the perfect balance of the ingredients. In my opinion I believe perfumers lack the ability to fine tune and “dial in”their concoctions. I honestly cannot stand 90% of the perfumes that are on the market because of this. PHEW!! 110% agree! I love X soooooooo much and sounds like you do to🎉 I find that Clive Christian fragrances are next level amazing/beautiful/complex (and the list goes on). I'm going to review more on this House as they have some stunning perfumes in their line up. Other than X, do you have any other favourites in the Clive Christian range?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector it blew me away when I first smelled it. What’s funny is I had the opportunity to smell 3 other Clive Christians perfume but was too taken a back from smelling X and didn’t care about the other ones lol. However I really want to try all of them because I know there has to be another stunner in the Clive line up. I have a weird feeling that you might like Comme Des Garcons Blue Santal Eau De Parfum. Its medicinal.. it’s manly and different. It sort of gives me that same feeling as X done, as far as not smelling like anything else. X is still better but its worth testing. Also Artek is another By Comme des Garcon you may also find interesting. One of the safest office colognes I’ve ever smelled in my life but it smells good nonetheless. I still can’t think of anything that smells as good as X 😌
Hey brother. I just smelled today for the first time these 2 fragrances from Clive Christian: 1. Rock Rose 2. Hedonistic I truly loved both of them. I wanted to ask you: What do you think about each of them. What weather and time of the day are they better for, and how do they compare the the X fragance shown here.
Awesome to hear from you….I gotta know your name, I keep calling you @ebenezer357 but would love to call you by your name (if you’re ok with that). Alright Clive Christian is one of the ‘rock star’ niche brands out there. Not sure if you’ve seen the episodes that I’ve done on this brand? I would recommend to you 1872 Masculine & Crab Apple. Impressed that you like Rock Rose as this one is really complex and most newcomers to the brand find this one too much. Hedonistic is the new one and I haven’t tested this as yet, so don’t know. My personal favorite is X Masculine, this is a spicy oriental fragrance that lasts forever. Good luck my friend, let me know how you go with these💪🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thank you brother. My name is Jahaziel, and yes, I have seen a couple of videos of yours about Clive. I always saw the bottles at the store but never got interested in them, but yesterday I smelled the 2 mentioned before and I loved them. The thing is I have the GIT and aventus as you know, and those have me covered enough. But I think I’m still missing a super amazing elegant fragance for wearing at night at a super high class event or something. I tried these 2 and I think they qualify for what I’m looking for. I liked even more rock rose than hedonistic because the last one has a bit of oud on the dry down which I don’t love much. But I notice that rock rose doesn’t project much on my skin. Is that true? Or is it because I didn’t apply enough sprays? I don’t like oud oriental fragrances at all, but rock rose I think is kind of soft and I like it
Hey Jahaziel, great to hear from you. Firstly I wouldn’t recommend over spraying Rock Rose. Personally I think this fragrance has good power. Best thing to do is to spray and ask those around you if they can smell your fragrance (sometimes if you over spray, you go ‘nose blind’….you can’t smelt it but you’re skunking everyone around you. I would recommend Xerjoff’s for your evening, super classy fragrance. They have an amazing collection and there will be something special.
