We have been using a few amsoil products on our JD's, some good stuff, as I am a dealer in the Cooperstown, NY area. I would recommend the "diesel injector clean" to you. With today's fuel those fuel pumps need the lubricity. Their "all in one" product lowers the pour point of diesel by 40 degrees, I still recommend some keep. Ya this weather has been great, hopefully the trend continues for corn.
Mike, Google Fly Creek Valley Corn Maze, it's our 2nd year and successful, kids games, a toddler maze, and a 4 acre maze for the rest, keep up the good videos.
Great video mike , amsoil is great I use it lots , we use shell extreme grease it’s like blood red and very tacky stringy, my biggest thing with grease is it breaks down and turns into oil and and that’s metal wear , amsoil and shell
Was hoping to possibly get a third cut this year but we had 8" of rain in the last week. Scratch that idea. Been using Amsoil myself and like there products 👍
@@mikep7810 Getting to late now, days getting short, we had so much rain ground is saturated with standing water, were under flood watch here in WI more rain on the way Thanks Bud take care
Those rotary rakes really make nice windrows! we have a Krone and its work well!! On the grease, Look on the tube to see if it states if its Lithium Complex?
For what little I've used this rake I will say I do like how it really makes a nice fluffy windrow. I'll have to check out a tube tomorrow when I'm in the shop
Good video Mike thanks for sharing. Little guy is going to take over doing vids for you. Did you guys buy that rake or just demoing it? We have a similar kuhn one at work only its left hand delivery. Cows should like that hay. We finished up our 2nd/3rd last week and started chopping corn yesterday.
Depends what you are doing. The first tractor I drove was our 3010 with that syncro transmission then I moved up to this tractor (2940). This one has a really nice transmission
Go to Pennsylvania and pick up some smoke bombs ( you can't buy them in New York). Light them and put them in the woodchuck holes. Then stand there with a shotgun and when the woodchucks come out for air, blast them!🤠 thank you for sharing your experiences.
Looks like the rake is doing a good job
Thanks Andy. It makes some nice rows
You are the ideal dad your kids are lucky.
Thank you, that is very nice of you to say
You guys have a nice farm and nice red and whites🐄
Thank you
Great job young man... a star in the making for sure! 👍👍
Thank you, pretty soon he can take over the whole channel! lol

Awesome looking machine. Works well
Thank you Travis

The additive is $.06 per gallon treat rate, so not expensive, Little more the winter product.
Sounds like a good product for the winter. The Cooperstown area is a nice area. I have to get back out that way sometime

@@matthewpernat3088 Thank you Matt. I will definitely check out that corn maze

Sorry to hear about the 8" of rain. Hopefully it dries out and you can get everything else you need to get

Thanks Jim. I'm afraid if I give him his own channel he'll pass me in subscribers! We ended up buying the rake. Good luck in corn
You will not be disapointed with that grease. Been using Amsoil for almost 30 years and have never once had a complaint.
Thanks Justin. That's good to know!
What farm tractor u say be a good one to start out with I do know how to use a quad shift transmission

@@mikep7810 mostly farming and a little of logging for firewood
Sounds like a John Deere 3020 would be good
Its a luxury problem no storage but i like those problems lol question how many acres do you guys farm in total thanks Mike have a good day
with corn, soybeans, hay, and alfalfa around 700
Thanks mike
Is a rotary take better than a wheel take??? Wondering witch to buy , parts for my bar rake will cost more than I played for it
I've never used a wheel rake. I've used a rollbar rake my whole life until we just got this. So far I like this rake
I could use some of that hay.
Wasn't a good hay year out here in the mid west. Too much rain.
Sorry to hear that. I feel very fortunate we were able to get all we got
It was strange for me watching you rake that hay because my Kubota rotary rake spins the opposite way lol
lol you'll have to watch it upside down!
