I watched Rammstein live by accident, when they were still an opening act. The only song I knew was "Du Hast", because it was in the CD with the music score of The Matrix (although it is not in the movie). Rammstein's show blew out everybody's mind. After a few shows, the other band dropped Rammstein as opening act and got someone else. They didn't say why, but I'm sure it is because they looked like they should be the opening act for Rammstein.
I've been to their concerts 6 times, seens alot or artist like slipknot ect. But Rammstein dont make music, they make art. Best experiences of my life. The atmosphere is indescribable

Having gone to many shows of all types, I can tell you that Rammstein is without question one of the best I've seen. There's a difference between a concert and an experience. Rammstein is an experience. Art at its finest.
I went to the Family Values Tour 1998 in Los Angeles CA when I was 9 years old and it changed my life forever!!!! Saw Rammstein and Limp Bizkit, Korn, Incubus and Ice Cube!!!! All on the same day!!!!!
The wingsuit weighs 50 kilograms, maybe more. I heard it led to back problems. The keyboard player Flake is on a treadmill because unlike the others his performance is very stationary and he decided to get the treadmill to be able to move a little bit. If you want to see more fire check out the live version of Feuer Frei. One hint: dragon breath. That's all I can say otherwise I would spoil too much of the surprise. I agree the price of a ticket is not cheap but just look at the show you get for that. I wanted to buy tickets for Tool too this year but those were priced much higher and since I didn't expect to get the same experience I decide to wait for another year. So I'd suggest to go see Rammstein when you get the chance. By the way, I love your reactions @1:32 and @4:59 😂
The claw is a control for the wings to conceal they made the claw. Sometimes when they are standing still it’s so they don’t walk into the pyrotechnics which Till does himself,he’s a certified pyro technician and he trained the other band members as well.

I can tell you, if stay there and bass and riffs going through your body is amazing, but then the heat waves hit you and you are out of this world. One in a lifetime experience.
I've been lucky enough to have seen them live 3 times so far, of course I know that there are a lot of people that have seen them a lot more than that but I still consider myself lucky and each time was better than the one before, looking forward to seeing them in Aug and Sept(that is if covid doesn't screw things up again)anyways I'm greatly enjoying your genuine heartfelt reactions to R+ and I look forward to many more
You are definitely right - I never listened to metal in 34 years of my life. Always was into Hiphop and House music. I am from germany, knew Rammstein since their beginning more than 20 years ago. But never ever did I care about them. Since a few weeks i have discovered them, oh boy - what?? You talked about being in a box in your last reaction, where was I? Have I been walled up somewhere? I saw rammstein for the first time in 2001 in Lisbon on December 10th at Restelo, they were still asserting themselves as a band. I immediately saw the potential they already had at that time ..and on the 11th they gave another concert

So excited to see a young lady properly getting into Rammstein! Yes, the keyboard player, Flake (pron: FLAWk-ahh) is usually walking on a treadmill...he can walk up to 17 miles per show! As for the band either moving or standing still...bcuz there are many moving props and so much pyro...their stage performances are highly choreographed and practiced for safety and spectacle. Just throwing it out there... I have an extra ticket for their Sept 2022 show in Los Angeles...
That "robot arm" has all the controls for the wings - to unfold and fold them, flamethrower triggers, etc. The way it looks is probably just an artistic side and to cover up all of the controls. But yes, amazing as always.

There is only one propleme. it takes about 10 minutes then it is sold out no matter how big the stadium is .... The robot arm is the control system for the wing pyrotechnics. The lead singer is a certified pyrotechnics expert and all equipment is designed by him. Till Lindeman
Saw them in Hannover a couple of years ago, they sold out the football stadium really fast. I am more into symphonic metal than their style, but I regard their live show as an absolute must see and should be on everyone's bucket list.

Since others have mentioned about the treadmill, weight of the wings (Till actually fell on stage a couple of times and got injured by the wings so they got changed to flying wings in later concerts) and the arm being part controller... What's worth mentioning is this concert was filmed in America, so the pyrotechnics are actually TURNED DOWN due to American health and safety requirements ...
Bisscute enjoying Ramsteinn is rather cute and enjoyable 🙂 You want to see and hear them live, it is a totally amazing experience. As to not everyone in the public speaking German, the majority probably doesn't, tho most of them will know the lyrics and their translation. Getting such a public for a band using mostly German lyrics in the USA is somewhat unusual.
The studio version has a woman singing the whole chorus and the contrast with Till's epic rumble is amazing - it was always my favorite Rammstein song and I feel like that contrast was a warmup to becoming a Jinjer fan. For a video focusing on power, check out Ich Will official. I don't know if they'll let you post reactions to the official video but it is great. Nobody does concerts like Rammstein - definitely do it. The keyboard player is Flake. He's always the butt of jokes in their shows and videos but behind the scenes his composition ability is a big part of their music. For more Flake jokes check out live videos for Mein Teil and Buck Dich uncensored. Also the official video of Keine Lust is pretty brutal in its depiction of everyone in the band but singles out Flake by making him the opposite of everyone else. And Ich Will, well youll see. Just in general it is a funny running gag in contrast to how they talk about him in interviews.
2:33 the wings, fuel, etc iirc was around 120/130lb (54-58kg in real money) Till leans forward because the weight is too much to bear on his back and sing (even with tills physique im not surprised) in later performances it was strapped to a frame that lifted till up in the centre of the stage whilst firing flames.
Go and see them live, it’s worth it, saw them 3 times and each time was amazing and I don’t even listen to rock or metal music outside of a hand full of bands 🤣

The robot arm was there for fail safe if something would go wrong I think, plus it looks like a cool claw :D About the concerts, they are more than just worth it and every new tour is better than before. You should check some of the 2019 tour stuff, just be careful not to spoil it for yourself because the stage in 2022 will still be the same :)

I have read the wings weigh anywhere between 40 and 65 kilograms. There have been several versions of the wings over the years. Oh, and definitely check out Heilung. In Maidjan or Kriegsgaldr.

Since others have mentioned about the treadmill, weight of the wings (Till actually fell on stage a couple of times and got injured by the wings so they got changed to flying wings in later concerts) and the arm being part controller...
What's worth mentioning is this concert was filmed in America, so the pyrotechnics are actually TURNED DOWN due to American health and safety requirements ...

You want to see and hear them live, it is a totally amazing experience.
As to not everyone in the public speaking German, the majority probably doesn't, tho most of them will know the lyrics and their translation.
Getting such a public for a band using mostly German lyrics in the USA is somewhat unusual.

The studio version has a woman singing the whole chorus and the contrast with Till's epic rumble is amazing - it was always my favorite Rammstein song and I feel like that contrast was a warmup to becoming a Jinjer fan. For a video focusing on power, check out Ich Will official. I don't know if they'll let you post reactions to the official video but it is great.
Nobody does concerts like Rammstein - definitely do it.
The keyboard player is Flake. He's always the butt of jokes in their shows and videos but behind the scenes his composition ability is a big part of their music. For more Flake jokes check out live videos for Mein Teil and Buck Dich uncensored. Also the official video of Keine Lust is pretty brutal in its depiction of everyone in the band but singles out Flake by making him the opposite of everyone else. And Ich Will, well youll see. Just in general it is a funny running gag in contrast to how they talk about him in interviews.
2:33 the wings, fuel, etc iirc was around 120/130lb (54-58kg in real money) Till leans forward because the weight is too much to bear on his back and sing (even with tills physique im not surprised)
in later performances it was strapped to a frame that lifted till up in the centre of the stage whilst firing flames.
He still has scars on the back because of the wings.
Go and see them live, it’s worth it, saw them 3 times and each time was amazing and I don’t even listen to rock or metal music outside of a hand full of bands 🤣

About the concerts, they are more than just worth it and every new tour is better than before. You should check some of the 2019 tour stuff, just be careful not to spoil it for yourself because the stage in 2022 will still be the same :)

Yes, Flake (the keyboardist) is on a treadmill because he does not like standing still. So he gets some action on stage by himself or in a skit with Til (the singer).
I've worked with Rammstein backstage and it's the best thing I've ever done, right now I'm working with Sabaton backstage
They had a "V2" of the wings at a later tour where, you guessed it, he "flew" (wire-rigging)
