So many times while drunk as a teenager id just straight up rob gas stations in the most obnoxious ways. Just walk in and shove 8 Red Bull’s into my joggers & jacket and snatch a case of waters on the way out as I stupidly shuffle to my friends car. Shotgun a beer between isles if it was a big enough store. And just shoveling shit into my pockets as I ask for a pack of obscure cigarettes away from the counter. Good times lol
This reminds me of a time five years ago when I was 19. I was chilling with some people, you know, real cultured intellectuals who liked to smoke cheap mid grade weed and get fucked up on Gabapenton and DXM. Well one day, they asked me if I’d be down to drive the two of them to a dude’s house because dude said he’d pay them back. I said yeah sure with no further questions. Well we pull up and they try and contact him. They called and texted and all that, but he doesn’t pick up. He ghosted us after supposedly telling them “yeah I have the money you can come to my house, it’s fine, here’s the address blah blah blah.” So I go up to the front door of this impressive, nice two story house, ring the doorbell, and this guy’s mom answers. The three of us explained what was going on, how her son gave us the okay to come through, but she said we were at the wrong place and not to come back. We left pretty quickly and I realized that we were the bad guys from anyone with power’s perspective. Three goons going to collect money lol
I committed armed robbery in 2016, was convicted and sentenced, finished my sentence and completed all my court ordered programs, ended up getting my Felony expunged after 18months - unfortunately the Strike is going to stay forever, if I get 2 more strikes I go to Prison for life. First crime ever (aside from shoplifting - never caught), and the DA wanted to give me 21 Years for my first "Deal", I ended up spending 9 months in jail, and doing 12 months of mental health court classes and 5 years of probation (shortened to 13 months due to good behavior and doing my entire program flawlessly without complaint). Moral(??): If you commit a crime, own up to it, take the consequences and finish the program with a smile, you are free.
Yeah, I thankfully never got caught for all the stuff I did when I was young. Hope you're able to get everything together. It's rough for people who've been through the criminal justice system.
9 months is nothing for armed robbery, you basically put yourself at step one and willing to to commit either assault with a deadly weapon or murder. That’s a lot longer than 9 months a
I was about to say the statutes are probably up on this, but robbery actually has no statute of limitations in Maryland, where I assume this happened. So, yeah, Nick could technically go to jail for this. Which is weird.

Dude, there was one time I was an employee at a shit hole Sheetz (that I would actively ignore people stealing because why the hell would I care about that) and one day my brother comes in, steals a snickers bar and eats it in the bathroom. And unfortunately the manager was there and saw him on the cameras take it into the bathroom, was talking about calling the cops over it; so I had to go over to him, tell him to bring one up so I could pay for it so they wouldn’t call the cops on him. He does, and leaves without incident, and then my manager tells me that I should’ve been fired for doing that but because I’m a good worker she’ll let it slide. GTFO. I corrected a mistake and it made no difference. I made sure to steal as much as I possibly could from that trash heap as I could without getting busted until I got a better job.
