Not really a massive deposit of electro magnetic radiation would be expelled from that pocket in the island, the pocket was ruptured, the extra energy was negated by the H bomb and the remaining leak was deadly to pregnant women so a hatch was constructed to systematically disperse the energy to stop a full rupture of the picket and a catastrophic energy release that may have destroyed the island and thus the heart, which would end the women.
Me too,LOST was my favorite serial the show gives me goosebumps every time i like that filing, the soundtracks a lot of scenes were very good, the actors were the best but many questions remained unanswered, and the end of the serial was very bad in general I couldn't understand the point of the series i think they should have written some different script about the main goal in the series
Two incredible actors going toe to toe playing two of the most complex and compelling characters any TV show has ever seen. Every scene involving these two was absolute gold.
It’s chilling to hear John ask “why do you find it so hard to believe?” But the real lesson here is John‘s response to Jack’s question, “why do you find it so easy?” As a faithless young lad watching LOST, I could not relate to John’s, endless faith and belief, consistent, with nothing to show for it. This is the moment where it brought everything together… “it’s never been easy!” An acknowledgment by John that faith is a practice, a difficult one at that. It’s not ignorance. It’s a continuous, conscious choice to trust, to have faith, and to let go. John was an enlightened man.
@@artembaranov I think so. The bewitched numbers from Hugo I didn’t understand, but everything else was pretty clear (sometimes with some help from Google too ;).

Yeah then after season 5 hes like ok guys, let's do this we gotta kill locke who is an ancient devil and not locke while crashing a plane to go back to the island and meet the dharma initiative and pimp slap that polar bear over there with this here hydrogen bomb you ready? let's do this LEEEEEROYYYYY JENKKKKIIINSSSSSSS....
Lol, I remember when this came out I was like, "I'd just push the button, not that hard" lol. I saw no reason not to believe it might blow the island up or something, and the task was not that hard....w/e
This show loved to overcomplicate every little task. If you ask a character a simple question, such as, do you enjoy waffles, they will cut to a flashback about the time their dad forgot to hug them before leaving for work
Its matter of faith. Blindly believing in something without hard evidence. Jack in that time was a man of science and Locke was man of faith. Its like believing in god, you should pray everyday - its not that hard, relatively easy, but I would oppose to it just exactly as Jack did.
@@TheIgdrasil1 I couldn't compare it to believing in God and prayer, since there is actually a button there with a computer on this crazy Island. My first instinct would be, "I better press this button" lol
Putting that pressure on someone isn’t going to save the island and everyone else . We don’t decide who lives or dies . They wont be just killing them self but there won’t be an island anymore so that means people would stop looking for them . Locke is delusional and crazy and jack is still stressed out about still living on this island and in the meantime jack still have to take care of everyone because he’s a doctor
The best and most mysterious story arc of the series. The button and the station was so cryptic.
Yess absolutely
The hieroglyphs. I was shook.

I love how sensible Sayid was, "this argument is irrelevant" is always funny and true
crazy how they made us all care whether they entered some stupid numbers or not. truly an incredible show
Hell yea
The backstory with Hugo. The mystery around them. The fact they were on the hatch. Great writing
I mean yeah when all life and death depends on a button I imagine it becoming pretty important

Well said Jay
Very well put
Exactly the same here and agreed
Man, the dynamics of these 2 characters. So opposite yet so similar.
2 sides of the same coin.
I’ll never be able to give up this show.
It's my favorite scene in the ENTIRE show.
It's 2023....STILL my favorite show.
One of my favorite scenes in the whole show.
"Why do you find it so hard to believe"?
@deez8278 IT'S NEVER BEEN EASY!..
People can say what they want abou Lost. Those first 4 seasons was some of the most compelling television ive watched in decades.
Watched the show 3 times already. Thinking about watching it for the 4th time after seeing this scene again...

Amazing scene

this might be the funniest or best scene in all of TV history. All that for a fricken BUTTON
God I love this show.
I always loved the John and Jack arguing scenes
This is the moment, Locke started doing his destiny- turning Jack into believer.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!BEST SHOW EVER!!!!
" why do you find it so easy" " it's never been easy " is amazing 👏🏻
''It has never been easy''....
this saying pulls me into deep toughts anytime i remember...
So good. Seriously what show does it better? The suspense, the mystery combined with great character development.
Exhilarating scene
It funny how they argue man it cracks me up. 1:50
Sayid is the audience surrogate in this scene.
Sayid face LOL
God the music!
Jack- A man of science
Also Jack- ‘There’s no way a computer can affect things’
When Locke told Jack to push the button I laughed my ass off for about ten minutes 🤣 because of course he’d tell Jack to do it.
This is really important because john train jack to save them all in the end but first he had to believe.
