Does HA kill the "good" bacteria on the skin? If so, would daily use of HA disrupt are natural and beneficial skin microbiome?

My dermatologist just prescribed me Tretinoin 0.025%, my first retinol ever. I was on a high dose of Accutane (isotretinoin) 3 years ago, and my skin handled it well. I’m interested to how Prequel works to soothe and hydrate my skin while on this new chemical exfolient.

Great product! I'll be buying the Skin Solution and also the Gleanser. I wish I could buy the other products but since I'm allergic to Niacianimide and I'm so regular acne and fungal acne prone, I'm afraid to buy them and cause a flare. Sam, I love hypochlorous acid and your enthusiasm is great. Yes to everything you described but we’ve also used it on a mosquito bite or a minor cut or abrasion. It is kind of a wonder product!

Oh, I hope it gets available in the UK soon 😊 I have been on the hunt for a Hyploclorous Acid Spray, but have not liked the couple that I tried. One the spray was quite bad and the other had some plant compounds and fragance that reeeeally irritated my skin. So I kind gave up after that 😢

I'm wondering how you might recommend using this spray in tandem with microneedling?
It seems to me like an ingenious addition to a double-cleanse in order to prep before microneedling. I'm curious to know your thoughts about using it afterwards during the healing process as well.
I imagine there would be similar use and placement in skincare routine for any skin treatment: deep chemical peels, microneedling, laser, etc.
It’s incredible for post-procedure! Keeps things clean without the irritation of alcohol or the stench of dilute vinegar (which also works super well but is certainly less elegant 😅)

Why hasn’t my dermatologist recommended this for my eczema?
If you are acne prone, is it possible to purge with this active? I have had increased breakouts with hypochlorous acid in the past
Hypochlorous acid helped my dry eyes immensely. My red eyes cleared up and stopped hurting and itching. I still use it to clean my eyebrows, eye area and lashes. Learning about it was life changing for me.

I love using hypochlorous acid after working out and during when I get too hot! It doesn't disturb the sunscreen if you spray hypochlorous acid on a sunscreened face?
Anything that you put on top can disturb the sunscreen film, we just don't know to what extent (a lot depends on the water resistance capacity of the given sunscreen).

i'm extremely germophobic, but i want to get botox. i have read you shouldn't clean or rub your face or expose it to heat for awhile after. do you know if spraying hypochlorous acid spray onto my face right after getting botox would be a safe or useful thing to do? also i get scalp acne, can you use this product on scalp/hair?

Please make travel sizes of these products. I love the quantity you get for your money but the thought of traveling with these products or having to decant into tsa approved sizes means I will reach for other’s products instead. I don’t like removing skincare from its original packaging as I’m not sure if that messes with the integrity of the product

Can this be used with Tretinoin? I'm going to hazard a guess from the video: "yes, as soon as it dries down", but I just would love to know before I incorporate it in my routine. (I have your product here with me, just not sure if I'm going to use it in AM with Vit C after or PM with Tretinoin after)

What ingredients does this not play well with? I saw either an aesthetician or a dermatologist on UA-cam talk about the various similar sprays coming out lately, and I wanted to buy one, but after all of her disclaimers, I thought this is going to be too questionable to fit into a routine with copper peptides and retinoids and other actives.
Great question, as this is often a concern that is raised! It should actually play nice with everything as long as it’s dried down fully (which happens quickly). my question is what separates this product from cheaper hypochlorous sprays you can get at the drugstore? walgreens has a 5oz spray for $7 cheaper: what makes yours worth it over something like that?
had the same question and i think the drugstore version has just 100% hypochlorous acid. the mist is much finer here and i felt it is absorbed much faster and better, which makes the next skincare steps easier to go in.
@@buguz i don’t believe it’s 100% strength, the version i was looking at at walgreens’ website seems to be 0.179%

honestly it's too soon to see any apparent effect, but i've been using hypochlorous acid (smartskin spray) for my acne-prone skin esp post work-out. it worked better clearing potential clogs that i dont have to use bha as much anymore.
@@buguz nice! unfortunately i have dry acne prone skin so clogged pores are less of an issue for me than inflammation. have you noticed any anti-inflammatory effects?
Does it "deactivate " other active ingredients in your skincare products if you use it in the same routine?
Only an antioxidant like vitamin c (if the antioxidant is applied when the hypochlorous acid is still wet), but as long as it dries down first you’re good.

No. You just need it to dry down before layering!
Can this be used as after-shave spray, Instead of most mens after-shaves that are filled with alcohol and fragrance?
