Im currently building a 78. Love that someone else is showing these cars some love. FYI on the front suspension to save money all 2nd gen Camaro parts will fit. Coil overs are about $200 cheaper. Brake kits are cheaper and available. Good luck
I never cared much for this body style of the nova or buick. But now that im older, i am liking it enough that i would pick one up if i came across one for cheap.
Front bumper looks great and hubcaps are nice...I'm not a big fan of all the lowered stuff, on that note it's your call and not mine.. Cars going to be very nice when completed....
Some black & chrome SSR mag wheels from jegs woulda look good on that car skinnies up front and fatties in the back but the twin turbos is not going to be much of a sleeper!!!😊😊😊😊
That's quite a fab shop you've got there! (Kinda undercuts your "budget" vibe, but still cool what you're doing.) I'm guessing you've got a huge bandsaw or a mill? If so, I'd recommend taking a wee bit of sketchiness out of those tall lowering blocks and slice off about 3/4" to bring the rear up a tiny bit. And they sell lowering springs for $100/pair for the front. I'd go that route and you won't be hatin' life while you're ripping around in this unit.
Haha yah had to do a little custom fab stuff on it! Yeah plan on doing suspension upgrades once we get it going just need it low for now so I can see tire clearance for the exhaust. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate the build but we’re really here see it run. Most that are tuned in are either mechanics, fabricators, etc and while cool vid we wanna see u gut this heffer. Y got to be in Oregon or Washington or somewhere out west cuz East coast these cars aren’t outside waiting for their final resting place, or at least in any salvageable cond.
This wasn’t a junkyard build then by no means. Prob family Friend or whatever but I’m less than 2 hours away from you and from Brine, Salt, and inclement weather “especially” off Chesapeake this car was not sitting outside then onto a build of any kind. But it’s cool and enjoyed none the less
Check out the earlier videos in the playlist. You can see the junkyard that we pulled in out from the car has Hawaii registration on it and also Mississippi tags so I don’t think it stayed on the East Coast very much.

Ahh that’s good to know !
Great series of videos on this sleeper. Looking forward to seeing it complete
Thanks!
It looks good, hopefully the tires won’t rub, cool build

Perfect hole placement, so the air bypasses the radiator... 🤔
Gotta take the stickers outta the windows to make unassuming

Looks better lowered than I was thinking, and rims def work for the whole style. Will you do a whole cost breakdown at the end?
Ya kinda surprising how cool it looks and Absolutely will be cool to see how much it cost!!
You can make pretty much anything look cool with the right stance and right wheels lol! I love different stuff like this
