He was a very mutitalented man, his legacy lives on forever.
LONG LIVE HENDRIX.😀
Oh dear, here come the list makers, and “don’t forget---“ Can we just give HENDRIX some love here. Is that okay??????
Hendrix Rulz❤
Peace and Lots of Love from Mumbai India ❤💯✌️✨
R.I.P Jimi Hendrix 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'll argue with anybody the most important guitarists of the last 60 years were Hendrix and Van Halen. Pure soul.
IMHO Jeff Beck should be included. His continued growth and experimentation and natural talent was unsurpassed.
That's the only truth. But you forgot 1 other...Dimebag Darrell...who reinvented it in the 90's, making him the 3rd and final one.
@@susanhudak1542 Jeff Beck should be included
@@user-it2pz8iv2z Dimebag should definitely be included as well. Eddie thought he deserved the bumble bee stripe.
See you in the next world, don't be late.
Cool documentary, very fascinating 🎸
Some Should NOT Speak when it Comes to that they Don't Overstand!! BAND of Gypsies was the MOST POWERFUL Album He MADE..."POWER of SOUL" (Which the SOUL Less CANNOT OVERSTAND!!)
is there any Hendrix music in this doc?
Jimi's music is far back in the mix
Interesting fact: the Cafe Wah was owned by David Lee Roth's uncle 🤘
What is the song @45:35? As a matter of fact, is there a soundtrack for this documentary?
LSD acid came around n the Experience was born n Hendrix became the king of hippie land but he wrote some creative material n plenty of it in a short time Robin Trower along with Frank Marino Mahogany Rush kept the Hendrix influence going throughout the seventies Eric Johnson n Stevie Ray Vaughn kept it going throughout the eighties Stings cover of Little Wing n countless tribute acts like Randy Hansen keep the sound resonating still today😅 It doesn't matter what format Hendrix music will live on forever n how long u hear the songs u don't get tired of listening to them😅
Never to be surpassed.
No one could match him in the 30 years either side of his peak.
Certainly no one is going to have anything near his talent in this day and age of packaged ease ,for as long as this planet lasts.
He is the high water mark.
Mitch is also a legend .
Mike Jeffery is a twat
Great doc. Shouldve picked a better bass player for Jimi.
The riff in Purple Haze isn't an octave, it's a Flat fifth...E to Bb
The two alternating notes in the intro to Purplse Haze are a Bb octave. There is also an anchoring E played with each strum. In standard tuning, it would be 6th fret on the low E (a Bb) played with the 7th fret on A string (an E), then alternate with the 7th fret on A (again an E) and the 8th fret on the D string (again Bb, but an octave up). Just alternate between those two diads.
Was he a 'virtuoso' guitar player? Not by any stretch. Was he a musical genius who changed the electric guitar forever? Most definitely. Rip.
