Aren't AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and The Rolling Stones better than Springsteen and U2
Alexander Grew no
thomas pedersen u2 are fucking awful
Jason Welford u haven't seen them live...watch them first and then comment about the legends..
Nope
Alex, i respect a lot of music and think i'm pretty upen-minded but i have to say : NO. The amount of good to brilliant songs that springsteen and U2 made in the 80's and 90's (not counting the last 2 deccenia) is HUGE !!!! Also more diverse then the other bands you mentionned... 80 % of rolling stones songs is made on the same simple rock-tempo.
No muse that's kinda disappointing they're pretty good live.
+Tino Ramstedt they really are. I'm lucky to attend a concert in a few weeks :D
they're a current band, they wouldn't be on this list
Thats a modern band. that has a list of their own
+Sam Van Der Plas exactly, the title is so misleading tbh
+Tino Ramstedt pretty good ain't "the best".
Van Halen had a pretty electrifying live show.
You can say that again.
That's exactly what I was thinking, too.
I’m hurt that VH wasn’t on here. Also if you want skill and talent, how about Van Hagar? That’s the definition of a life changing band
fuck yeah! and david lee roth at the helm! i saw them in sydney in 2013 & it was kick arse!!
❤@@Ilickarmpits69
The Who should be top 5. Tommy remains one of the best performed shows ever, and Live at Leeds is considered the best live album ever by many.
Si si si - Del Who est guttest numero uno nil questionari
Yes they should have been in top 5 can you imagine the amount of money they spent on new equipment at each show smashing up the equipment that's the who for you I mean to smash up a vintage Gibson les Paul or fender strat is a sin for musicians costing up to $700.000 they've got to be insane
saw the who 2007ish they were incredible, didn't know much about them but the music took me to a very special place, great gig
The Who is hardly top 10
Um the Who should be number one. Full stop.
Gotta say , Queen at Live Aid showed everyone else how to rock a friggin stadium.
I saw Queen a few times and they were never as good as they were at Wembley at Live Aid. Never. But, if you're gonna ace a show every once in a while, that was the show to do it at.
That show was monumental, but as a live act I'd put them behind other favorites of mine such as Rush, Iron Maiden and Metallica who were always consistently very good.
Iron Maiden behind a Queen act? Now I know you are on drugs and your brain is fried from too many drugs. Never in hell, even if it froze over.
That is his opinion. If you need to defend your own opinion then apprantly your own isn't good enough.
rex racer and queen is known as the best
Best comment on here... truth!
As long as Queen has the first place, you can rank the others however you want
+DrMachakil Hahaha,,,,,,great quote
+DrMachakil Nicely said, I agree :)
+DrMachakil ...They were even great after Freddie died with Rodgers leading them.
+DrMachakil I saw Queen in the 70's. Great show, but not near the best. The night I saw them, Thin Lizzy opened and easily stole the show. Bowie---way better that Freddie----Springsteen too----The Who------all easily better live than Queen.
+David Price lucky you ! I agree that 70's are not the best decade to illustrate their live potential. Greatness came in 80's. They stole the Live Aid concert and Wembley 86 is unbelievable
Shame on you for putting The Who at the bottom and double shame for talking about Keith Moon while showing his interior replacement Kenney Jones.
Have seen 4 of them: The Who, Stones, U2 and really Queen with Freddie! But from my point of view, Rush deserves it to be a part on this list. Just seen a single concert from them, but it was amazing!
I agree, I have seen the Stones and the Who. Rush was great, the Who was great, the Stones maybe they were at one time but when I saw the Living Color was the opening act and they showed them up IMO. Def Leopard in 1983 was pretty awesome I must say. Oh, and Metallica was really good live.
Love Rush, totally love their music. Saw them probably 5 times. Would I put them on this list? No.
I totally agree with this let's just got one of the greatest live shows all the time with the laser show and the video show and just the music popped out by three awesome individuals
Saw u2 open for the J. Geils band on their freeze frame tour...people were booing them lol
@@alvaius that's because you don't get it!
Just checking in for Queen. All is well.
lol same here all is well
Me as well lol
👍👍
Same
Same. I jumped right to the end of the video to see if Queen's #1 or if I have to give the vid a thumbs down.
Yesssss, the best frontman was, is and will be Freddie Mercury..... I miss him so much but his musiical legacy is eternal!!!
Oscar Robayo you mean was.
100% agree seen QUEEN as my first concert back when news of the world was out …..so long ago but QUEEN IS BY THE THE BEST LIVE ACT
You got Queen at #1, I'm satisfied.
Great list... Freddie was the best to ever hit the stage and thank god for youtube... he will be here forever.
During the whole video I was only waiting for Queen.
+coquio I started to wait for Queen when the honorable mentions started, because I knew Queen would have to be number 1
still watching, wait their not on here?
me tooo
+coquio is there not Queen ?
+coquio Oh thank god they're here
AC/DC should be much higher for its River Plate Concerts
ACDC had way better concerts than river plate they should be number 1
Absolutely crue I couldn't agree more
Should atleast be top 3
I saw acdc on the ballbreaker tour great show saw them again on the black ice tour horrible show they hardly played any of their claaics and they zipped threw every song like they couldn't wait for the show to end it was so bad the crowd started to boo them that was in philly the last thing you wanna do is piss off a philly crowd
Check out let there be rock movie Bon Scott Angus blows all these away just plugging into those walls of Marshall's
I'm fortunate enough to have seen 3 out of the 10 live, in my life. Queen in 1980, AC/DC in 82, and Springsteen 1985. All were simply amazing.
Which was your favourite if you had to choose
@@jameybrown69 it's gotta be Queen 👸if not he's lying or mad . Only joking mate
Awesome 😀
@@jameybrown69 AC/DC was obscene, weed was being passed around in the crowd, We were at the front standing/dancing. I had a hot girlfriend, it was a small venue, and it was an experience. It was sex and drugs and rock and roll.
Queen was the best performance, but we didn't have great seats. However it was the night John Lennon died and Freddie sang a couple of his songs, at the piano. It was tear-inducing. All of us had lost our voices by the end, we were singing so hard.
Springsteen was kind of in between the two. We were outside, on a hot day and we were close enough to get splashed by the buckets of water they were throwing on the crowd off the front of the stage "To keep us cool". It was like a wet T-shirt contest. Another hot girlfriend I'm afraid to report. He played forever, we were rocking and singing the whole time.
Asking me to pick one is like asking me to pick my favorite child. I love(d) them all.
Every band in this video is a distant second to the group I saw in 1965, The BEATLES!
Queen's live aid performance is unbeatable, always legendary
oh yeah queen the legend
Ok no q.uit talking
No, I saw the Beatles, and they are in a category by themselves.
Queen stunk after Night of the Opera, everything else was too light, and it became the Freddie Show...yawn!
*Queen, of course, was there any doubt?*
There is No Doubt, so please Don't Speak.
Queen can't be 1
I'm surprised that ac dc ain't number 1
@Be Beat tool
NO DOUBT¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
I saw Rush when they were on their last couple tours (Time Machine, Clockwork Angels, another one I can't remember, and R40) and all of those were DECADES past their youth, and they were AMAZING!
Wyatt Corbin for me rush are unbelievable musicians, but don't have quite the charisma live that a lot of the bands on this list have
I've seen them 9 times since the 70's and yeah they should've at the very least got HM. U2, Def Leppard? I don't think so.
I am a big fan of Rush, but I do not think their live performances warrant a place on this list.
Rush is my favorite band of all time and i will still agree with you. Their magic was in the studio.
RUSH! RUSH! RUSH! NO ONE BEATS RUSH, AND NO ONE EVER WILL.
I attended U2 at the Fleet Center during their “Elevation” tour. Sat in a front row near the heart. I have NEVER ever seen anyone create an atmosphere live like they did. It was truely memorable.
I saw the Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree tours - they were really something special.
I saw the Beatles, and any other band is a distant second.
@@StamfordBridge I saw the Beatles, so I am not impressed.
@@garymorris1856 Who are The Beatles?
Just kidding. Not sure I was out to “impress” with my comment, but seeing the Beatles does give you ultimate bragging rights, so well done!
@@StamfordBridge Thank you.
You may of heard of a Prog rock 3 some from Toronto named Rush. They would wipe the floor with 50% of your top ten Live.
They’re amazing live, aren’t they? 🤟
@@OldLadyRocker The best Barbara..
RIP Neil.
Rush is in a class all its own. They were amazing to watch live.
@@joelguinand5489 Outstanding live..
I can completely understand how anyone who has never been to a Queen concert might have a different opinion on who should be number 1 but for all of us that were lucky enough to see Queen live, it isn't even a contest. It was a religious experience. All hail Freddie. I saw them live back when Freddie was still sporting long hair and wearing many spandex outfits. An experience that will remain with me forever. I have seen some great concerts back in my day as well so it is not like I didn't have anything to compare them against. Just to name a few of the better concerts...Aerosmith (in 79 if I remember correctly), AC/DC (Bonn Scott, AC/DC), Rush (2112 tour), Judas Priest (Rob Halford, Judas Priest) and Van Halen (David Lee Roth, Van Halen). They were all great but they were not Queen (Freddie Mercury, Queen).
Anthony Minier i agree 👍👍 u r so lucky to see them live back then.. i want see freddie live too 😭😭😭
Janglee S I know exactly how you feel....Freddie forever.
Agree wholeheartedly! Queen is/was/and forever shall be the greatest of them all. You are so lucky to have had the honor of seeing Freddie do his magic. I only just discovered them recently. I saw every big name live since the 60's (can't even remember most of them), then when I experienced Freddie - HE BLEW ME AWAY!! And that was Through the TV! My life will never be the same. Seriously! I am so in love w/Queen....more like obsessed, really!
Not even on the list Styx. I saw them at the forum in the early 80's at that time, it was the best concert I had ever seen. Now in my I'm older I have seen many more concerts but they could have got an honorable mention, as well as Nugent, who for his brief bit of being number one with cat scratch fever, put on an excellent show.
Lucky guy
literally just skipped to the end to make sure queen was in the rightful place #1 was not disappointed
Kayla Cohn did exactly the same
Me too.
That be me
Queen fan since their 1st album, bought it based on a review before it was released & when no one was playing them on radio. But ... they're no Stones on stage.
Todd Anderson I feel like the Stones have always been rather weak onstage. Probably all the drugs.
I honestly think Rammstein is missing here. If you look at there last tour ist just crazy what they are doing and how the fans are reactions is. :)
WHO??????????????
I concur. Saw them live. It's been closing in on a decade now and WOW, that was something else. Even Metallica that same year had jack all on them.
@@patrickgreene2663 they’re a German metal band
I'm old enough to have seen KISS, Iron maiden, Queen(with Freddie) AC/DC, RUSH, pink floyd and a load of others in their best years and you are right, Ranmstein is by far the best live show from a rock band I have ever seen.
@@natvgerkin it’s cool you were able to see these great bands in their prime
Where the hell is Areosmith, Come on decades after decades, somebody messed up for sure❤️❤️❤️Always n Forever Areosmith, Metallica, Scorpions come on people 💜let’s get the records straight☮️
or van halen?
Iron Maiden
Wouldn't those three bands make one hell of a concert.
Every time i watch Queen at the live aid, i get the schivers. I love it. There can only be ONE. Freddie still rules.
nah he died cuz of aids
Mogens Troen yeah you could be right. After all, Freddie was the queen of rock n roll.
Reggie Hammond savage.
Jimi Hendrix is better can Freddie mercury play the guitar with his teeth
@@mountainbikelife2526 Freddie and Jimi Hendrix cannot be compared. Freddie’s main talent was in piano and his iconic voice. Jimi’s known for his amazing guitar playing and presence. Comparing Freddie and Jimi is impossible.
I've seen a lot of live shows, Metallica was by far the best.
no metallica should be 1 queen should be an hoonarable mention
cool dude then your an idiot ever watched live aid if not watch it it's on UA-cam you'll change your mind
Metallica and U2 best live shows I have ever seen
Loudest: ACDC
Had me zoned out (in a positive way): U2
My favourite: Metallica
Dude, have you even seen their 70-2000's concerts? They were batshit crazy
I vote for Queen. Best band that ever rocked hands down and there music was obscure Freddie also Had the best voice above any frontman ever and is a national treasure.
Obscure?
The fact Rammstein aren't even an honorable mention is a crime
it is not. A shit band with a shit live show...
@@ericvetter3299 Rammstein is shit ?? I'm pretty sure you just listen to pop shit nicki minaj and stuff and live in a strawberry world 😂
@@ericvetter3299 no one with a shitty opinion
What happened to Nickleback ?
😂😂😂
Saw a comment that said “wheres bts?”
Oh god
Who?
Fuck me
🤦🏼♂️
🥴🥴🥴
Queen, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden all from the UK, and AC/DC had Bon Scott, Malcolm and Angus Young who were all born in Scotland and Brian Johnson who is English. Not bad for a wee island.
And Deep Purple should be on the list, too. ;-)
Don't forget Cliff and Chris
@@jamesmulligan7413 Hope you're not talking about Richard and De Burgh!
@@davidburke8311 no i mean cliff Williams and Chris slade
@@jamesmulligan7413 Thought so - only kidding!
First I love all genres of music but the best live bands I’ve seen has been Tool (actually as good if not better live than on album)
Prince, Metallica, Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers, P Funk, A Perfect Circle, the Tea Party and BB King. I always compare every live act to Prince and Tool because they were beyond the best. I’ve seen Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Kiss, Bill Monroe, Ohio Players, the Beastie Boys, Smoky Robinson and a ton of other acts that were great live also.
I’m disappointed that neither Peter Gabriel/Genesis, Yes or The Moody Blues weren’t on the list. All these shows can easily be called “electrifying”.
As well as many other “progressive rock” bands that were not mentioned.
Perhaps you could do a top 10 live progressive rock band list including but not limited to those bands and others like The Strawbs, Kansas, Alan Parsons, David Bowie, Ian Hunter/Mott the Hoople, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Roxy Music, Supertramp, Talking Heads, and Nine Inch Nails for starters.
I look forward to that top 10 list!
Elp put on a hell of a show too
Yes I agree but I think they were focusing on Rock Bands and not Progressive Bands. Maybe they may do such a video in the future.
@@AmandaHugandKiss411 These bands were rock, just Prog Rock. And also they had Pink Floyd.
Queen was just off the chain. Who is best? I do not know or care but if you ever get your hands on the Queen Live at Wembly Stadium concert.... grab it and fasten you seat belt. I saw them at the Philly Spectrum in the 80's. Blew me away. A better showman then Freddie has not been born yet. He was.......I miss him. Words cannot describe what he put into the show and the band was so tight it was stupid. I know why the band took a long time off because they missed him.
Hew Matts Tory lanez ... he crowd surfs , raps , climbs stuff , jumps off high places into the crowds , and sings rnb music at his show , and he involves cohesive jokes and story telling to his live performance
Bruce and James Brown were better.
Hew Matts there will never be a better frontmen than Freddie
So many years have gone since Freddie died (almost 27) and there is still NO BAND that can touch their live performance!!! NONE and I consider myself so fortunate to have seen them live 3 times with Freddie!!! Unforgettable experience!!
Angie Hillmer I’m so jealous you can’t imagine 😏
Muse have a better live performance in my opinion
shit u beat me ...twice DEEEEETROIT BABY
Wow u must be LUCKY!!
bruce wightman - Unforgettable huh? Nothing like seeing King Mercury live!!! First time was from the front row, Freddie actually sweat on me and got to hold Brian's shoes when he did his solo!!!
Yes I agree with your choice. Queen with John Deacon, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury are amazing!! In my opinion this group of talent represents true musical art, This is my opinion; other groups were great and I respect this. Anne Craycroft
I've been to a ton of shows by some of the best. But the best shows were always Pink Floyd. Their live shows are incredible. Not just music but a life changing experience!💖✌
.
Bleh, just listen to the album.
I might go to one of the roger waters 2022 concerts, not 100 percent sure, but I definitely want to
64 yrs old and a priest fan ,but best SHOW ever was the FLOYD ✌️🤘
Yeah queen most definitely. Freddie Mercury was a god on stage. He gave everything for his fans while performing.
Sorry couldn’t agree, how is U2 ranked higher than Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones
Exactly, except the GREATEST band this world will ever know is Cream! The Who is freaking fabulous, I saw them do a 3 hour concert at Midsouth in Memphis one time that was a masterpiece. I think osborne sucks. And Zeppelin, oh hell yes, one of the greatest bands, one of the concerts I've ever seen, fabulous. The Stones I saw in an outdoor concert in Memphis- the drugs were awful good too lol. Clarence Clemons- too excellent for words, RIP. Pink Floyd, most definitely. And Queen number one? Not a chance, Queensryche was better, and definitely ROBIN TROWER!! CSNY, and OHM don't you dare leave out AIC!! And Mad Season is freaking fabulous!! And they left out Hendrix and The Doors? Grand Funk? Be freaking real.
yea, I went to see U2 in concert, brilliant really. But better then the Zep, or dear god the STONES??? Queen at 1 yes.
Boxing referees's i have to say are seriously unprofessional compared to UFC MMA referees that are real pros admitted some refs are pretty bad but in general boxing ref's are like a joke i mean really! MMA ref's way higher standard! the boxing refs are as bad as biden running for president i mean really America a top country in the world and they let a jerk like biden run, i mean i thought i was watching a comedy honestly,! i mean seriously???????????? Seriously they let a guy like biden make america look like the back of an ASSHOLE!!!! and then he gets in which is clearly a COUP DE TAT and no one does anything is this like the sickest joke you have ever seen in the world!!!! OH MY GOD ITS SO FUNNY!!!! i am still laughing!!!!
You never been to a U2 concert?
I agree 100%! I've been to both of those are they were awesome!!!!
Pink Floyd, my favorite band, my favorite concert! Saw them perform Division Bells- Cleveland.
I was at that concert too! LOL We sat in one of the upper rows (home plate) of the old Municipal Stadium.
Just Queen at Live Aid alone would put them in the #1 spot. They are legendary.
It's funny how everyone is arguing which bands should be #2-10 but no one is denying that Queen should be number 1
Anyone that tries to deny it will get booed right out of the comments section by about 99% of people here.
id gladly switch out U2 with Kiss and honorable mention Cheap Trick and Rush
Absolutely!
Cheap Trick.....only one of the four with both stage and musical talent........Rick Nielsen. Not a top tier band.
I agree that CT is a great show!
i would love to do anything for freddie to be alive to see him in a live concert
same
Saw him twice at The Forum in Los Angeles....I was very lucky....I know that now.
So agree with this list. Mojo nails it!
I only have eyes and ears for Queen.
No other band from 1970 to 2021 can hold a candle to Freddie, Bryan Roger and John.
Or even Brian.
Deep Purple?
Only just got my voice back after seeing Black Sabbath a couple of weeks ago. Never in all my life have I screamed War Pigs with such passion.
they are coming to México in November :)
All the people clapping at the beginning of the song. I get goosebumps everytime I close my eyes and remember.
Finyocano ML Mental wasn't it. I tore my vocal cords and couldn't talk for a week!
Finally got to see them in Tacoma back in Feb, my favorite band of all time, what a show \m/
Saw them in Bristow a few months ago. My neck hurt for two weeks.
Fck i was worried where the hell is Freddie Mercury.....n here he was on top. Goosebumps all over with that bohemian rhapsody in background.
Aw darling you don't need to watch the whole vid just skip and queen will be there on any vid like this no doubt. ❤
Any time QUEEN was on stage you were in for a show. The kings of stadium concerts
The queens of stadium concerts*
I click because i knew Queen would top the list.
Love it. Everyone is complaining about bands, no one has even touched Queen. That says it all. Queen was the best, and we'll never get to experience it
How do you know if you never experienced it? Lol
I did!!! 1978 Memphis Tennessee
I didn't, sadly... I was too young the few times they came to Memphis...
I saw Queen in Toronto in 1980. IT WAS AMAZING.
I saw Queen at the Long Beach Arena, CA in the late 70s and they were completely underwhelming. I was so disappointed.
thanks watchmojo, but do you guys think Aerosmith, Beatles, Guns N Roses, Eagles ... deserves a mention too ?
wow Freddie, How's life in Heaven?
Freddie Mercury saw guns n roses on there most recent tour there still putting on good shows not as much energy as the used to because they should be golfing but still ok
Diamond Lu Dickwad wow wow wow. What did you just say!? Get the fuck outta here if you still want to live!
+Diamond Lu Dickwad Freddie Mercury doesn't need to go to heaven because he's already a god.
***** Your opinion doesn't mean much if you think gays go to hell.
My favourite live preformance is definitely by Guns N Roses. It is a shame that Axl's distortion was so hard to do and exhausting that he couldn't maintain that highest level throughout all the show.
G'nr? No way.
@@broderperdurabo yeah. At it's peak it's amazing actually, but yeah most performances arent that good
I saw Guns N Roses before their music got attention, Axl was loaded drunk and the arena didn't turn the lights down when they came on at the request of the band, it was one of the worst bands that made it big I have ever seen. I would have loved to have seen them at their peak, I saw them at their worst lol
@@leonardmullin2699 yeah I mean, fair enough. They werent profesionals (undiciplined) but Axl could sing extremely well. For starters his voice couldn't be arranged even now so their recorded stuff Is legit. Besides there you have the sound city sessions that really do sound like a 1 try recording stuff. I mean, to be fair Axl didn't show in live shows all his potential. He was either drunk af or running a marathon.
@@fabriziogonzales9719 ya and like I said this was before they were well known or made it big, I had never heard of them before, I think they opened for Motorhead, long time ago. Would have liked to see the band in their prime, bet it was a great show
I’m surprised that Kiss only made the honorable mentions and even more surprised that Rush wasn’t on the list.
Yes...where was Rush?
I generally would, and will only attend concerts of the bands that I really like...that rules out Queen for me...they're called " the poor man's Zeppelin" for a reason...maybe they're best live act ever...but, I will never know, I would never pay a dime to see them because they're not one of my favorite bands..just my personal opinion
Such a travesty on both. Obviously they’ve never seen Rush live
Because the list sucks.
@Brendan Crosby Dave Matthews is far from " electrifying" and " energetic "
Queen where they should be always, but Led Zeppelin at 6?
Franklin Waters Are you referring to Queen or Led Zeppelin?
I don’t understand why queen is that cool. Its not because theres a lot of people that their show is the best. Like their music is not original at all. The only good song they made is bohemian raphsody.
Juju Rotto So you’re implying that you’ve heard songs that sounds just like Queen and thought “Oh this is definitely something queen ripped off.” Refer a link to me please, and I don’t know how miniscule the amount of queen songs you have listened to or how much drugs you’ve taken to believe that “Bohemian Rhapsody” is their ONLY good song, different opinions are fine I guess, but I can’t even understand what part of Queen you’re criticizing...
I agree with you and I don't think that Led Zeppelin should be number six and from the live performances I've seen between Queen and Led Zeppelin one or the other should be in first place and there is no way that Led Zeppelin should be behind anybody else except Queen perhaps but not number 6 definitely! I think these people that do these poles are just ignorant because I saw one that pulled the top 10 lead guitarist and Brian May from Queen was listed honorable mention and didn't even get in the top 10! That's horse crap because the guy is a genius and he and the bass player were able to get this amplifier the bass player made and his guitar kit sound like a Orchestra if he wanted it to. He's always perfected his craft and I think he's every bit as good of a guitar player as Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen it's just that he's got his own style and I think that you can listen to those guys you know in the top even though Jimi Hendrix is by far the best guitar player ever! I wasn't a big fan of his music because I was born in 1967 but I do like a lot of his music and his guitar playing is just phenomenal. There's just no reason that Brian May of Queen was given an honorable mention. I disagree with many of these polls.
Juju Rotto My favourite band of all time are The Who but Queen May have not been the best band ever, but it’s that they changed their fans lives forever. Plus Bohemian Rhapsody is the song they’re most remembered by not their only good one. In my opinion, Queen are a little bit overrated, like they’re not Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin or The Beatles but they changed music history
Can't argue with Floyd and Queen at 1 & 2.
Queen is the best by far. Their music is timeless.
All of these bands came from an era of music that. Can’t be duplicated. Some of these bands still rock today. I love the whole list. In fact that would be the most epic concert of all to see.
I don't think any era can be duplicated, they all have their unique qualities
Queen better be number 1...
+Stronger Than All Nope
+Stronger Than All why the hate on queen
THANK YOU
+Stronger Than All still nope, Queen owns.
+OldSoul Yeah but no Bowie sadly
Alice Cooper, Slipknot and Rammstein aren't even in honourable mentions. I'm dead
No Allman Brothers either. Or Rush
I agree! Saw rammstein last monday live *-* this band must be in the top ten ^^
I AGREE ... WHAT?! KISS, Alice Cooper, and Rush are not in the top 10?! This is fucking bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER LISTEN or adhere to this bullshit top ten crap again. Bob Seger, not in there, Ted Nugent, not in here, Dream Theatre, not in here, There are too many bands to make a decision on this. FUCK THESE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THESE FUCKING TOP THEN LISTS
Fucking Queen is #1 ... FUCKING QUEEN???!!! Give me a fucking break.
no best live band list can be taken seriously without Rammstein in it
i agree with most of your list but seeing rush a million times, their latest tours have been pretty bad.
My first first gig was Queen in '86 and I have also seen The Who and The Stones. They were all fantastic live.
Absolutely Queen!!!!! No comparison!!!
I totally agree , Queen were the best of all time
I always thought that Freddy Mercury had a one of a one of a kind voice. So does Geddy Lee. I was surprised RUSH wasn't mentioned
RUSH may be great musically, but their live shows were not interactive or entertaining. Just 3 studio geeks standing their playing note for note live versions of their songs. Like Steely Dan. Great musicians, but boring performance style
What do you mean Geeks? These three Canadian guys are the top trio band the most influencial band and the overall best band ofthe 80's. They have a star and have been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. You don'have to be interactive to do that. And if iou aver watched RUSH Xanadu studio and live you will find that they are very entertainingCheers! :)
RUSH was a great band. But their live shows didnt bring anything different or exciting. They just played note for note renditions of their studio material. Thats why Led Zep, or U2 were so good live. Every show was different. Now my favourite Canadian trio was Triumph! Also great musicians, but with MUCH better vocals!
Denyse Phenix oké Queen nr. 1 but Kiss would be nr.2.
Well I mean if Queen wasn't number 1 this channel woulda been deleted.
Lmao, right
and the fact that acdc is one of the best live bands in history. ita the only band that sounds better live than in the albuns
Totally.
+Dead Soul it's definitely not the only bands that sounds better live. Pink Floyd, led Zeppelin, muse and loads of the greatest bands sound better live than in the studio.
haha!! you beat me to it ....I totally agree!!!
Saw Queen with Adam Lambert last year, as a major metal head, Queen was the best show I have ever seen, thanks Brian, Roger and Adam for letting me spend that night with my dad ( I am 46)
Thank gosh. I knew Queen had to be number one baby
Rammstein better be #1
You forgot about queen then
not even in the list. They are the best
+Malcolm Enell true, but Rammstein should be on the list anyway :P
+hooiss meh, i dont like rammstein, no good songs for me
+hooiss Rammstein an amazing live seen them for my 21st was blew away by the stage show
As a rock lighting tech for almost 25 years, I agree with your list, except for KISS as an honorable mention. They really put on a classical, theatrical, rock show. Top 5 at least.
Man! Wish I could've been around or much older to have experienced an Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Led Z, or Derp Purple concert. I was only a kid then. 😭
I mean a few of them are still preforming
I saw Deep Purple, I seen many bands in my young days, but not one of them was a loud as Deep Purple.
queen queen queen made rock into a march as Keith Richards says i take the roll
No Guns 'n Roses?
im a big fan of guns n roses but the live concerts weren't good at all
im guns fan, their shows are great, but for not for top 10 imo. not all their shows were on level
+Mike Morris Axle Rose isn't great live. He's always to drunk or high.
+Mike Morris I KNOW B.S. LIST
+Dom Fabio And notorious for being late as well..Not to mention has caused riots
There is Queen, and then there is everyone else. Freddie Mercury could rock the guy in the back row and everyone in from of him. There are few guarantees in music; that you were entertained at a Queen concert was one of them.
+Wan Fu *front
+Wan Fu Yeah, everyone else was better.
eldospinks Especially motherfucking Rush baby! HAIL THE HOLY TRINTY! No one beats them live! NO ONE!
@@HappyCynic It takes having no brain and no taste to say that!!!
@@ustasalexu8022 It takes someone who thinks getting the crowd to sing your songs for you, is not evidence a band is good.
I was disapointed to not see Elton John. He was all over the place on stage. Such an amazing performer.
He's a solo artist
Libaraci was all showmen ship
Isn’t Bruce a solo artist?
All are solos if u don’t care about band or can use pick up band
Queen at live aid is the best performance on stage i ever saw thanks to Freddy Mercury
Obviously queen is in the top spot. Watch their Hungarian rhapsody Live in Budapest, it's one of the best live performances of all time.
Ryozaki San I’m pretty sure you mean Bohemian Rhapsody. Hungarian Rhapsody is the piano piece by Franz Liszt.
No, the PERFORMANCE was called "Hungarian Rhapsody", because Budapest is in Hungary. The title is a deliberate play on words.
I absolutely agree!
As long as they got the #1 right, I'd be happy. Queen. You can't argue with a guy who basically OWNED his audience and could get an entire stadium of packed audiences to do whatever he wanted.
Chris Thornycroft 100% true.
actually chris, yes you can...........you sure can argue.
stop coming in with your dumass comments, Queen fucking owned rock history
Floridarulz -They may have owned your gay ass! But rock?? Seriously?😂
Triumph The Comic Insult Dog yes they fucking owned rock music, just because your hurt ass won't stop crying about rush because it ain't in the list makes you very, VERY, stupid person
Man I thought I was gonna flip. But there they were #1! Good job mojo. This was really a tough one. I love all those bands. Since I was in school. Eons ago lol. You could probably do about 5 more with completely different bands and still have a great list. But I like this one. This was what we played. Everywhere. Thanks!🤘We are the champions!
When I watched this warm up band steal the show from one of the best bands ever( I will not name out of deep respect) I have never seen a better live show. It was completely unexpected how Grand Funk Railroad took the house down. Soon they were the headliner. Their studio work could never do them justice.
A man that knows his music
I totally agree!
Was it Zep?
Lynyrd Skynyrd, done the same to The Who.
Queen is the best of all time when it comes to the stage. At Live Aid with no props and no costumes and other artists there, they gave a bone chilling performance that if you ask any artist on this list would easily say best live band ever. On talent alone they were miles ahead of everyone, the range Freddie had could not be rivaled, Bowie or who ever you want to through at them would pale in comparison to QUEEN as the greatest ever. Queen forever
Tertius Cilliers let’s not for get artist like The Who, Black Sabbath, sting, mic jagger, Elton John, David Bowie all played live aid yet QUEEN is the only band we talk about
Lol overrated journey with steve perry can do that easily
Al Rincon because Queen was the best one there
I saw iron maiden 2 months ago. Fucking kickass even in their 60s.
Saw them back in Brooklyn in July and in Toronto the previous year. 2 best nights of my life
Those guys are amazing. Best band of all time.
Mr. Mojo Risin' call the fuck down , they are not the best band of all time
Best Metal band, close enough!
Iron Maiden when you saw them you wanna cry because they are the base of all mf.
Solid list. I have seen 4 of them live and they certainly deserve to be there. AC/DC. Springsteen. U2. and Iron Maiden. The best 2 concerts I have been to though were Van Halen in 83 and Prince in 84. Not sure if anything could top Prince! I would have loved to have seen Queen and Zeppelin!
I was waiting for Dire Straits on this list. Hey, c'mon, the 1985/86 Brothers in Arms tour (247 concerts in 365 days) and the On The Night Tour 1992… Anyone agree?
And if you listen to Snow Patrol at the Oxygen Festival in Ireland in 2009 - if THAT'S not electrifying, what is?
I was waiting for Dire Straits, too.
The Who, Sabbath, Maiden, Zeppelin, The Stones, Floyd and Queen. For a small island nation, we sure know how to put on a show.
A great example of culture blending. If some Englishmen had not taken a shine to American blues, this would not be here.
Perhaps ... but if had not been for some Englishmen, there would be no US to speak of.
Uhh...Beatles?
What about 'em?
Uuuh... Slade ?
Freddie Is the greatest Frontmen In the history of the world !!!!!
Front man* there was only one Freddie
Axl rose!!!!
Axlaldrin Ramos you’re joking right?
Bon Scott
@@lancstutorial2190 no freddie mercury
I am so lucky I saw 7 of them live, including the top 5, I am blessed :-)
I knew it was queen because I was at one of threre concerts brilliant
I was waiting with baited breath for Queen to be #1. You didn't disappoint! Once again, a great list from your channel. 😃👏🏼
"bated" breath
Seen some of these people live and seen others in concert videos. Who is best in concert to you often depends on who you like most. My first ever concert was Led Zeppelin song remains the same in Madison Square Garden when I was like 13. To a 13 year old rock fan it was like watching the Gods play a concert. Bonzo played the drums like no other. He could beat them to death on one song and be complex and gentle on the next. Jimmy Page was magnetic, relaxed, and did things with his guitar that rivaled even Hendrix the TRUEST guitar master of all time. Then Robert plant came on stage as the archetype of all rock singers. Always imitated and never truly challenged. Then finally the bassist and most under rated musical genius in history John Paul Jones who could play every instrument, over a dozen of them, better than anyone else.
Still a fan of Led Zeppelin after decades regardless of the naysayers claiming they stole some of their music, IF they stole it they must have done SOMETHING great with it as people like Randy California never had a hit. They were rock Gods and nothing could ever take that away. Still the fact that all Freddie needed was a white piano and a microphone stand, PLUS a great and talented band, and he could do whatever he wanted and effortlessly control a quarter of a million people at a time. He was the greatest front man to ever live. So I will give you my order for what it is worth. On my list I have seen Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, U2, and Pink Floyd. Had Pink Floyd no depended so much on light blasts and lasers I might have switched them with Led Zeppelin under duress.
10. Bruce Springsteen
9. Black Sabbath/ Ozzy
8. The Who
7. Rush
6. U2
5. The Doors
4. Jimi Hendrix
3. Pink Floyd
2. Led Zeppelin
1. Queen
That's the way this humble aging guitarist sees it. I am not a fan of Iron Maidens sound that much. If I were to put a metal band other than Sabbath in there it would likely be Judas Priest.
Talking from experience, Iron Maiden, is the most organized live band out there. From changing costumes and scenery in every single song, to using real flamethrowers and having swordfights.
Apart from that, Iron maiden's live solos are even better than the studio version (in my opinion). Also, it would be necessary to mention that Bruce Dickinson is constantly running around while singing for 2+ hours, being in an extraordinarily good shape for a 56 year old. The other band members make their presence intense as well, by constantly interacting with the crowd, and picking on each other's guitars & generally smiling all the time.
I find your own picks pretty reasonable, however I would include Maiden somewhere on the list, and AC/DC should definitely be on at least number 3, cuz ain't no other bands that can make the crowd jump simultaneously like a heart beat and sing louder than Brian. I'm not even gonna comment Angus Young presence, I think it's pretty obvious that he's the best live guitarist out there.
The Doors were fantastic on record, but they do not have a reputation for being a particularly great live band.
Zeppelin is still #1 to me!
Got to see Pink Floyd in 94! Best show anyone could see! Even if a person was deaf, the could see and feel the concert, which was BEAUTIFUL!
Just saw The Rolling Stones last night, Mick is 78 and it was a GREAT show 🎸💕🤘🤘🤘
I actually think he may be older than that....
But what about Guns n Roses? Slash and Axl we're killing it...They ARE killing it!!!
lars ulrich oh i completely disagree with that crazy statement I saw them 2 months ago it was f*ing great
I wohldnt ever pay to see G&R live. Axl is usually too drunk to even walk, let alone sing and perform..
i cant hear any bass n rythm guitar when they're live or it was just my hearing
Guns and Roses blow live. They suck back in the 80s and they suck today. Saw them both times

Axl is dancing and singing for 3 hours, you pathetic sucker!
I clicked the video chanting ''Queen, Queen, Queen, Queen, Queen, Queen!'' glad you did not disappoint ;)
+LadyStarkgaryen Although you really should have mentioned Rammstein...
Queen or gtfo right!?
+LadyStarkgaryen was more waiting for rammstein so at least in the honorable mantion, nice to see another rammstein fan here
@lists for friends, watching their live performances one cannot deny that they explode on stage. :) sometimes even literally ( with their pyromaniac shows )
+LadyStarkgaryen Same lol.
I don’t know how you could have forgotten The Beatles or Van Halen in “your” list
Oasis and G&R
Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Queen, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band, U2, Van Halen and Iron Maiden.
As long as queen no. 1 .. this lists is fine with me.
racist
@@chestertaylor383 You really hate queen don't you?
@@jard5918 racist
@@jard5918 queen sucks
@@chestertaylor383 you're adorable. Five year old kid trying to get people to take him seriously when he says 1+1=11 adorable.
I like how Metallica isn’t in top 10 even though they literally have the record for most people at a concert at 1.something million
Just watch Seattle 1989 Live. May be the most electrifying metal concert of all time energy-wise.
Rod Stewart holds the record with 3.5 million?
Metallica in Moscow, where unofficially 1.6 million people attended.
they also (at least recently) are kinda famously not that great live though is what i've seen/heard
No one likes Jaystation he does
I feel bad for those who had to perform after queen at live aid
Radiohead and Pink Floyd are easily top 2 for me, Radiohead puts you in a trance and Pink Floyd just went above and beyond visually
A Springsteen show is quite something! I saw him back in '88, for $20! 😍 U2 is awesome too!
RUSH should have been listed!
Thanks 🤗 but what about motley Crew! Yummy good r&r!! 💞
@@kotysuefawcett6538 I finally saw Crue, for their 2015 tour, with Alice Cooper. Amazing!!
I saw Queen in 1979 on their News of the World Tour!!! Yup you picked right!!!
The NOTW Tour ended in 1978...
sus
Seriously jealous
I think Watch Mojo has an obsession with Queen, they’re on #1 every time, I totally agree though. Queen rocks!
Motley Crue went all out! Can’t believe it, tommy literally rode a god damn rollercoaster! And Nikki was lit on fire, along with the band fighting people that were talking shit.
