Wow. Never know how this one will go. Love that y’all have an open mind and actually listen to what he is saying. He and Tom both preach unity. I bet most of these comment you will get from ACAL fans and HOG fans we want unity. Much love 💜💖❤️
Like he said, in Chicago growing up, he was the one white boy who makes the all black roster....great reaction. If we could all be open and honest and accepting, we all be much better off. Mad respect fam. #HOG #OTBGANG
I was born and raised in the south. I absolutely would NEVER say that word, ever. But Adam talks about the fact he grew up in Chicago and how he even spent time in prison and the fact that it's a term of endearment for him and his black friends. But he also says no one should just say that word and he would never unless around his friends where they do it with each other. I personally wouldn't do that but I see where he's coming from with his friends.
Everyone should be able to say any word when it's not used to hurt someone. When I say nword to my white friends how is that wrong at all? Calling someone stupid or ass doesn't mean you really think this persons iq is under 60 or he is literally a buttchick xD People will call many different slurs on people they don't like but it's never ment to be truth. If more poeple coule use nword in the same manner as black people, this word would mean "friend" and it couldn't hurt anyone. I was bullied my whole childhood and I wouldn't want to ban word poor from people with money.
Reactions to this song always fascinate me. People who get upset at one verse of the song but don't blink at the other- regardless of which verse tweaks them- are part of the problem. I enjoyed this very much! #GoonSquad #ACal
Yes indeed Adam does say that word, but he's doing it in a stereotypical way. Let's not forget that Adam was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois so he had adapted to his environment.
I’m really digging that u guys are 👀 & 👂’s open!!! They both promote that we all need to stop letting them divide…. United we stand… divided we fall!! #HOG
Y’all handled this better than I thought y’all would. After the rant on the BLM movement, y’all did, after not REALLY listening to a certain Tom song, I expected much more defensiveness, after what I’ve seen. I think y’all will get it even more after a while of learning. Again, this is all just my opinion.
I'm in Oklahoma and I will say these guys I'd say are good representation of type of open minded thinkers and acceptance we as Oklahomans have for others. If I have a problem with someone it won't be based on color it will be on you're actions.
@@chronicinokla I was surprised based on other reactions they have done prior to this… Some previous videos triggered them, for less, that’s all I was saying. I’m stoked about the growing open mindedness ❤️
Acal doesn't do a lot of these kinda songs but when he does it's real check out more from him he can rap with the best of em he has a very old school rap flow just subbed cause you guys really got it waiting to see y'all do more acal
@vintagelightman83 chill. I know it's old. I just worry people won't understand the message. They did great. You know some don't. Adam has a great heart and I worry people will judge him by this song and not look further.
The fact you had concerns initially but were able to listen and hear the message shows you have your emotions under control. And thats the key to being able to get society where we all want it to be
I am the mother of a bi-racial family and honestly word "racism" has been over used to the point that I don't even flinch. Great reaction and I find great joy in your smiles. Cheers!
Getting past the first 20 seconds is hard for MANY people to get past, black or white. I love this song, the message is far stronger than people realize. To me, it's him stating all the stereotypes that society goes off of, but he is saying we're MORE and BETTER than words that we get labeled with as people on a day to day basis. It's rough to swallow certain words, and that's more than understandable, but grasping a message and not taking it as derogatory is also difficult. Him starting with the white race stereotypes was genius, because of HOW the first 20 seconds unfolded. He keeps you tuned in, and his goal was achieved by you both sticking to your true selves and immediately picking up on what he was going to do. Great reaction 🤘🤘
Great reaction Men! I can't believe I never peeped your reaction to this one. Song was heavy on so many levels. The fact two years later him and Tom, and Dax are doing their thing together😳 Thanks! Nice work! #AdamCalhoun
Great Reaction!! #HOG4LIFE!! I love that y'all see all sides and all viewpoints. And you dont get triggered from the words the system has conditioned us to trip about. ACAL is def a straight talker that came up in the streets. Color doesn't make a friend, loyalty does. And loyalty has no color. Adam knows that. Tom knows that. You all know that...and of course I know it and live it.
This one makes me so nervous, I can't say I could say the "N" word but I do see why he's doing it. I'm so very glad you understood it. He was talking about stereo types. I totally respect you guys so very much for listening to the lyrics! Great reaction as always!! My fav of his is "rap sh*t".
I watch this reaction vid for all my fav black reactors (you two and many more) and I LOOOOOOOVE the moment that it clicks when they realize what the song is about and how the smiles FLOWWWW
Here’s the thing, if you’re gonna “take back” a word to embrace it then that’s fine. All races included. If the word is so bad that some people shouldn’t use it, then nobody should use it, and you can’t simultaneously be offended by the word while you’re using it yourself and also using the equivalent with no problem. It’s pretty simple. Great reaction btw.
I have watched a lot of reactions to this video and I can really feel the mood change when the one word is used. I can see that it causes pain but perhaps through pain can come growth and I think Adams message is spot on with how the media and politicians divide us. Mad respect for sitting through something that might be uncomfortable but being open minded enough to dig into what is being said and why. I think Adam purposely opened up by examining stereo types of his own race to set the scene. Great reaction video guys!
He only used it for this song and kind of once in rap shit. But he explained in his growing up in Chicago and time in prison he grew up in an environment where it was accepted more. But he doesn't drop it on any other song from his 11 albums. He did it for art and not just to be doing it
I saw that coming b4 he even said it! Like you guys, i caught the point and where he was going with it! RIP BILLY DA KID in this vid! Adam and Stevie Knight had a pidcast about this song and the dialog and it was a great conversation and brought a l9t of light to this song! U guts should watch it❤
Not just anyone could do a song like this one. I think the message comes across so powerfully because of the context behind the artist. If a black man used these words, no one would flinch. A white man pops off like this, everyone sits up...a man with Acal's backstory makes it genuine.
Great reaction 🤘 It's probably already been said but Adam is from south side of Chicago, and I do believe that is his Cadillac in the video. Appreciate y'all could see the message. Peace skins ✌️ #muchlove 🤘
There’s an interview on Stevie Knights channel he did with Acal after hearing this song for the first time about him saying it. You should react to it, it’s a good interview and Stevie comes out with a lot more understanding. Also Stevie thinks a lot different(in a good way) now than he use to.
SONG IS POWERFUL!!! He’s showing you the construct of racism as a tool used by THE MEDIA with the ultimate goal of DIVISION. We are all sons and daughters of God Almighty. IN THAT WE ARE ALWAYS UNITED AND UNSTOPPABLE
It's nice to have young black Americans not falling for the victim narrative, Great reaction. We are all American we are family my all being Americans,
It’s a powerful song issuing the stereotypes .. he took a massive risk. But you guys got it straight up.. and yeah he’s trying to get a message across.. but it’s a hard one. Keep the reactions flowing guys
What i love about this song it give both point of view and shows how much we are a like and that why i feel thaley want to keeps us apart and i fall short and over react at time but that what it means to be human
Yep, yall got it! Adam is pointing out the stereotypes on both sides, then saying that there are good folks regardless of skin color. Likewise there is trash, too. Got nothing to do with skin color. It's all about what you got in your heart. Btw, Adam grew up in Chicago, and most of his friends were black. Yall give me hope that this generation isn't completely lost. Oh, the caddy is actually Adam's car!
Naw bro, you are forgiven 100%. You acknowledged it was wrong and asked to be forgiven so good on you man. We've all done or said something in our past that we regret but realizing it is what matters. I know i keep asking but do Samson. Young white kid with bars and the best mullet ever. Lol.
Hi guys I came because of Tom #HOG. But now you have stumbled on to ACal so hit some Brodnax, Demun Jones, Struggle Jennings. Brodnax is a beast Vanilla Gorilla!! Now I'm here for that as well. Been here since day 1 enjoying your journey.
You said snowflake .. love it thank you.. that trap beat was sick…. Everyone gets a trophy country needs to stop.. hurt feelings over truth regardless of race religion or politics.. or life .. good reaction y’all
Wow. Never know how this one will go. Love that y’all have an open mind and actually listen to what he is saying. He and Tom both preach unity. I bet most of these comment you will get from ACAL fans and HOG fans we want unity. Much love 💜💖❤️

This granny from Michigan is new sub and love you guys...
Like he said, in Chicago growing up, he was the one white boy who makes the all black roster....great reaction. If we could all be open and honest and accepting, we all be much better off. Mad respect fam. #HOG #OTBGANG

I agree....exactly cracker is ok but not the other. I don't say either
Whew. You handled it. From a girl that grew up in a trailer park...I am white trash I guess but I got love for everyone.
Me too :)
Yes indeed Adam does say that word, but he's doing it in a stereotypical way. Let's not forget that Adam was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois so he had adapted to his environment.
Whenever you get time check out the interview Adam did for this song.

Adam Calhoun - Droppin Bodies, Hallelujah, 4 Wheel Low, Dennis Rodman, Back n Forth w/Upchurch just a few of my favs...
Appreciate ya!

Good reaction I feel like he was showing us how alike we are in our differences.
Great reaction! I have seen soooo many people not hear the message, only the words. God bless
Thank you for seeing this one right! Amazing reaction! Thanks ❤️ Much Love! #Hangovergang #Acal #Racism
Great reaction 🤘 It's probably already been said but Adam is from south side of Chicago, and I do believe that is his Cadillac in the video. Appreciate y'all could see the message. Peace skins ✌️ #muchlove 🤘
Y'all caught what was going on early, so you were able to enjoy the song. It also don't hurt that Adam can spit. I enjoyed your reaction!

If I'm not mistaken, it's been years since I saw that interview, those are his boys from S. Chicago in the video.
You guys have awesome reactions! Love the thinking as well.
This song is a fact fire 🔥 Adams spitting bout stereotyping people when you don’t know them or their situation
A word should never hold power over a man unless its a promise made willingly.
Was nervous, BUT you guys knew right off what was goin on! Awesome react #HOGFAM #GOONSQUAD

Good shit fellas, I like the journey and glad I can ride along. Glad to see how open minded you are, it's a breath of fresh air.
Adams from south side Chicago, and made it through the rap battle scene. Dudes old school east coast rap.
Hell ya good song definitely one of his better ones I think
Truthfully it's less about race and more about culture.
YESSSSSS!🖤🖤🖤
We all come from somewhere and we can all label each other but if we look close we are all human.
Stevie Night did an interview with Adam about this song you should check it out.
Knight
