Love this song and funny part is none of this is from Adams point of view he’s showing what racist people both black and white think and presenting the stereotypes they follow. It’s also ironic that these stereotypes can hold true to the lowest denominator of human beings but have zero reflection on good people. There’s good and bad people of all colors.
I'm glad this wasn't you first introduction to Adam's music. When he said the N word the internet went berserk. His concerts were cancelled in the west coast to do boycotts of that word. People labeled him a KKK member & so on. Not even close if you know his body of work & his influences from ODB, Biggie, Pac, Goodie Mob,etc. he is far from racist. That hood is where he grew up in Chicago. Those black people are his friends. You understood the song 99% of the people didn't understand the stereotype comparisons. The woke mob was extremely triggered. Yet black youtuber reactors loved it.
I love this because I grew up in a neighborhood and area that’s ghetto/hood and a bit country because it’s was on the south side of the city that has a lot of wooded areas and the south/southeast side is was the area for blacks and poor working class white and mixed families like my own which my main family is a mix of Native American and European but have family that are black, Hispanic, most people thought I was Asian or Hispanic growing up because of my looks and features and because I had a speech impediment that people thought was an accent
Yeah from my mom’s side of the family some of us take from the Native side with dark hair and tan skin and Native features or take from the Irish side and has red hair and paler skin
That's not big Murph that's another rapper from Chicago who was gunned down at believe two of them in that are in his video or gunned down in Chicago where Adam grew up in one of his songs he says all the rappers he wanted to do an album with his already died that's who he's talking about
