Long term investment here for me. You played a huge role in my decision to invest in a ERR3702. I’ve had a 2 Kenetico’s for about the last 15 years and it’s been iffy. I’m getting a new ERR3702 unit installed tomorrow morning. Thank you for all the information. I tried to buy my unit from you but was referred to someone in my area instead. I just called your office and they said that they cannot sell out of your area. Otherwise you would’ve gotten another customer keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing a great job man.
Our EcoWater system from Costco is my #1 regret purchase of all time. When they came out to do 1St. years service I got a large bill. Next service the Tech told us we needed to spend another $5000.00 for services of water heater (which was new at time of softener install). I cleaned flushed and installed a new anode rod. Total cost less than $50.00. The tech was extremely pushy to the point I asked him then told him to leave. The company still kept calling. I thought I was going to have to get a restraining order. Very unhappy here in Prescott Valley Arizona.
Wow, you have a lot to unpack here. I am thoroughly confused with the water heater issue and how that is related to the water softener. I would urge you to contact the owner of the EcoWater dealership you dealt with so they understand the experience, that you had regarding the representatives pushing you. Each EcoWater dealer is independently owned.
@Drew the Water Guru I live in Osteen, FL. I can of course buy from a Costco contractor or a local dealer. Not sure if Angel Water services my area being 2+ hours away. What is the advantage/disadvantage of buying Costco versus a local dealer. I am contemplating Kinetico which two of my neighbors of recommend and Ecowater. I need one within a month. My system sucks ass.
Thank you for the info I have called every single water company in my area Chuck in the truck and big corporations and I went with the ecowater system after watching this video.
I had my appointment on Friday and I purchased my ecowater system through Costco. I’m looking forward to the installation. I added the reverse osmosis system too. Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise.
I did the same thing 2 years ago. It’s time to replace the RO system filters and I’m easily looking at $600.00+ for 4 filters! The ecowater rep conveniently forgot to mention the replacement filter costs.
Just met with our Ecowater dealer yesterday. Glad you mentioned the Costco collaboration, checking into it. I'm definitely leaning towards then vs Kinnetico. Debated going to a cheaper one from lowes but after watching this, steering clear of that direction. Great info.
@AngelWater thanks for the info. Unfortunately, costco doesn't deal with the vendors in my area. But I think I'll be scheduling with Ecowater soon. Partly because you confirmed the info I was given and because of the experience with the dealer. No BS, no sales pitch, no bashing the others, just straight information and leaving it up to me.
I'm sold !! I have well water with a lot of the issues. I have been getting a water test every year since I moved here....5 years ago. The test I get is from the tap water mostly. Sometimes I test the water before my one filter at the well. too. I was from Baltimore City with city water. I did not know a lot about well water until I moved. In the last 3 weeks watching your videos I have learned a lot more. I thank you for that. I know I need a water softener and a whole house filtration system. I went to Costcos the other day. Every time I call someone ref water, they want to send a rep out tell me how bad the water is and then try to jam their product on me. I have watch too many of you videos so I have not fell for that. So are you in Southern Virginia...I live in South Boston Virginia. Can I buy a system from Coscos have it shipped and then have it installed? Thanking you in advance, Will Williams
Hey Will! Thanks for being a fan of the channel! I looked up your area on the map and we're unfamiliar with the water conditions in your personal well. You see, each well is different. The conditions in your well water can be different than your neighbors. How it works with our clients is a water test to determine what system you need, and we would also ask you some questions about how your current raw, untreated water looks, smells, tastes and behaves in your house. I want to direct you to one of our experts, please email dkaiser@angelwaterinc.com - He is aware of your situation and willing to talk to you about a solution. If you had city water, it's easier to recommend, because there is some consistency in the water. With wells, its very unique.
Great info. In the process of getting bids for local suppliers in Florida. I was a bit shocked when the sales rep from one of the companies (US based) on your list did not know what NSF-44 was. Pays to self educate on all these systems, brands, technologies, before making a big investment.
Water quality and how much water you use is a huge factor in dictating a price of a water softener, reach out to your local eco water dealer to get a free estimate. You can find a local dealer at ecowater.com
I am sorry I can not find them on the NSF.org website. This is the best place to determine if their product removes the stuff you want out of the water..... OUT. We have not seen their products last long or properly sized and designed for homeowners. Great website but many people report to me they feel scammed.
Yes they all do... It is their patented technology. The recharge is based on your water usage... It is virtually impossible to determine... Have a great day.. Thanks for contacting us..
I had an ERR3700R20 installed in March of this year. I don’t feel the water being slimy or slippery. They had me increase the hardness from 13 to 17 and I still don’t see the difference. Then to 21 & still no difference. I don’t know whether this softener/refiner is actually doing its job. Do you have any suggestions as to where to set the hardness at?
I would call the company who sold it to you and have them come out. Usually all Water softener companies give you the first year of service for free. It seems to me that adjusting the water softener for harder water is an incorrect way to solve this problem.
Ecowater came out and showed me the one unit with WiFi and the other with two components (model EEC1502)/tank for half the price. Is the EEC1502 recommended?
I WAS SO READY TO BUY THIS UNIT AFTER WATCHING YOUR VIDEO BUT I LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS HERE IN TEXAS THEY HAVE SO MUCH BAD REVIEWS ! HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THEM . NOW I DONT KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO . KINETICO IS JUST AS BAD AND EXPENSIVE .
Where did you see these reviews? and what systems did the reviews say were great and were they NSF44 certified? Thank you so much for watching this video joe!
I don't know if you know what Texas have the worst hard water than any other state that is hard for any type of system to get treated in Texas I will still go with the ecowater system for Texas
where can I puchase one so I can intsall it myself?

How about GE water softener, it’s also NSF approved, but less than 1000 dollars. What exactly does Ecowater do better than other softeners?

Great video!! What’s your thoughts on the Ameritek indutries Puronics system?? And how does it stand up against a system like Eco Water? Thank you

Awesome information. Does every ecowater system use exact salt dosing? I have 2750 and was wondering how often does it recharge?
Yes they all do... It is their patented technology. The recharge is based on your water usage... It is virtually impossible to determine... Have a great day.. Thanks for contacting us..
Thank you so much. It ok to use the res care regularly or once a year ?
My eco was digital panel went blank after we cleaned tank and refilled salt. And it’s plugged in. Any suggestions??
Buy a rheem at home depot. Same valve!
