Costco doesn't cover where I live. Ecowater did not respond to my request for a local distributor. Several local shops here sell Puronics. Do you have experience with Puronics? Their website says "manufactured" in USA.
www.nsf.org/search?query=Puronics As you can see the product claims to be NSF 44 Certified but is not on NSF website as being certified. I believe the product is designed and assembled in America but not Made in America.
Keep in mind the most important thing is where the filter material is Manufactured... if you need help and want to purchase an EcoWater system feel free to call us at 847-382-7800 and ask for David Kaiser.
DREW,India makes Digigo E-Soft. It uses electronics to soften water. This system hasTREMENDOUSadvantages over anything I've seen on the market. What do you think of this method&their product?
I'm sorry, you cant find a dealer in your area. if you like you can reach out to us and we can ship you one. To me the next best product is Kinetico, our phone number is 847-382-7800 ask for David Kaiser!
@@normswan5806 They used to be phenomenal in the 80s. Today every distributor that builds one uses Chinese resin in addition they use more salt than the computerized valves on the market
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your salt efficiency question. To me, I would be asking the following questions: 1. Is their product certified by national sanitation foundation? 2. Is this product made in America? To my knowledge, their products are assembled in America however they are built in China. 3. You need to ask them does that system do salt differently based on an algorithm? This is the magic to Ecowater. Their system one day will use 2lbs of salt when low water usage may have occurred vs always dosing the same amount of salt at every regeneration. 4. Does their system have up flow brine technology. This is imperative when achieving true salt efficiency.
He is just trying to sell the expensive stuff. I have been using a Pentair Resin system for 20 years that works great, just change the salts when needed. Furthermore, adding carbon to these systems is not ideal . It is best to just add a standard carbon filter separately. A carbon cartridge costs 10 dollars. It is so hard to get honest advice on UA-cam. It has become a nest of scammers

When you say big box store does that include Springwell water systems ?
Springwell is a Sticker company. Big box refers to Home depot, Menards, Lowes.. where you buy it and drive away with it.
Thanks

What do you think about puronix?
I've had a salt water softener for the past 12 years and my pee is yellower than a lemon. Love passing that salt on to the city's sewer system.
Does the water softener make the water feel slimy?
No. Slippery if you're not used to not having the mineral (friction) in the water.
I am from Texas and I want to know if culligan high efficiency system vs ECowater which system is good

Wait I am confused, we don't want the calcium rocks in the water but we should get a calcium chloride unit...huh
Ha ha ha. If I accidentally said calcium chloride, I meant sodium chloride or potassium chloride. Sorry for any confusion.
