@raileanulucian In Germany it starts at 50k€ and with all extras you'll end up with 60k€. The Netherlands have some kind of luxury tax, thats why its so expensive.
@B3ansGuy I guess you've never driven a car with a turbocharged engine...its not about emissions , its about torque and performance from idle to redline. Naturally aspirated engines feel weak on low rpm.
@wtflip620 It's similar in Australia. It mostly comes down to foreign car tax. The cheapest new cars in Australia cost more than a five year old bmw 3 series would in America. :)
@raileanulucian its 80.000 euros in Holland and Holland has very different prices,for example this M1 is about 50.000 euros in Germany and 55.000 euros in the E.U.
@Matik1717 ya, but at the end of the day your still in a 135 and they are in an M..... plus they have the wide body that's like saying, buy a wrx, go stage 2 and beat an STI.... at the end of the day you still don't own an STI
Was sowieso al fan van de 1 serie, alleen vind de achterkant oerlelijk van dit model. Groetjes van t meisje wat je in Rotterdam aansprak zaterdagavond haha.
I think BMW should call the car M! althought there's already the M1 Homage but it's kinda different stuff. It's just like the Jaguar XJ and the classic XJ220, they're unrelated...
I think that with this turbo charged engine it doesn't feel naturally aspirated M3/M5/M6 epecial. It's the only niggle I have with this car... and the looks of it
stupid emission standards forcing manufacturers to turbocharge their cars, i miss the high revving naturally aspirated engines of the e60 m5 :/ should have put the engine from the e43 in this and tweaked it, then it would be a fucking amazing car
@raileanulucian Except that you lose your warranty if you go an race track :D. Sadly this is all a matter of sales taxes and exchange rates. The USA is probably the best country to get a car for little money. Germany is better for driving though ;).
@MaxwellEindhoven Bullshit. The fact that they're only building 800-1000 might actually make this a collectible, raising its value with age. Nevertheless, this car will be worth at least 90 % of its sticker price even with 5,000 miles on the odometer.
The 2012 Mustang Shelby GT500 is on $50000 and will smoke this and the M3. And it's a hell of a lot sexier in my opinion. BMW is sooo over priced. What's the point of this card when you can get such better value.
@raileanulucian

a hardcore version of bmw 1m would have to come out for sure

@wtflip620 Cars are very expensive here in the netherlands. That's why a lot of dutch people order them in other countries like germany or belgium.
Prachtige reportage. Lekkere presentator.
@xDutchEaglex its not a v6 its an inline 6 (335HP)
@fesch03 it's a shame...strange thing is, in USA you can buy a Nissan GTR for 63 000 euro (90 000 usd), which is literally twice the car.
@raileanulucian its 80.000 euros in Holland and Holland has very different prices,for example this M1 is about 50.000 euros in Germany and 55.000 euros in the E.U.
so is it possible to buy the car in another country where is cheaper, and register it in Netherlands ? or you still have to pay the taxes ?
@Matik1717 ya, but at the end of the day your still in a 135 and they are in an M..... plus they have the wide body

Nice review, thanks
So what if you take the 135 and put 30.000 worth of options on it...?
@raileanulucian I think it's 80k in Holland because they have higher taxes. In Romania it'll prob be 60k
Great quality.
@SmaxterInc thanks, but when i do so i get this mark in red " ! " asclamation mark ?
i liked the FLDetours review better i think
mooie cameraeffecten man :o
God i'm obsessed with this car
@autoblgger Waarom hebben jullie dezelfde footage van die drift scene als dit filmpje? Lack of effort?
watch?v=Uasw5gEwjbY&feature=fvwrel
Goede review!
the subtitles used to work with me but not anymore. Anybody knows what could be the problem please ? thanks
@Ioanides001 Exactly, and the car is worth only half the moment you drive it out of the showroom
@raileanulucian taxele sunt enorme la ei..... 1M cu echipare standard e in jurul a 60 000 euro (e mult si asa)
It's faster than the stock M3 on the track, and sharper than the 135i coupé which has too much understeer for my taste.
Was sowieso al fan van de 1 serie, alleen vind de achterkant oerlelijk van dit model. Groetjes van t meisje wat je in Rotterdam aansprak zaterdagavond haha.

@raileanulucian cheap or expensive?
hahah what a nice and funny video(with bloopers) they make not like the other ones when they just talk and talk...
I think that with this turbo charged engine it doesn't feel naturally aspirated M3/M5/M6 epecial. It's the only niggle I have with this car... and the looks of it
@ariell92 In Denmark it will be around 133k Euro 180% car tax + 25% normal tax yay for shitty prices
@Ioanides001 Halleluja, at least you foreigners understand car prices here are ridiculous.
80.000 euros ??? WTF is there that much taxes in Netherlands ?
in the US this car costs 46k dollars and in the UK 40k pounds
@raileanulucian Not in all European countries though. I think this must be in Netherlands where they tax the cars like there are drugs or something.
it's not 80k euro's...its 54k canadian which is about 55k us...39k euros
i need it!!!!!
stupid emission standards forcing manufacturers to turbocharge their cars, i miss the high revving naturally aspirated engines of the e60 m5 :/ should have put the engine from the e43 in this and tweaked it, then it would be a fucking amazing car

@Matik1717 get 1998 civic and tune it to 500hp for cheaper moot point
Its cheaper in the U.S than the TT-RS, so it's a better buy.
They don't really have a lot of confidence in the intelligence of the journalists do they? With that sticker on the dash lol.
Nicee
@raileanulucian you still have to pay taxes..... :(

@Mech0z wow that is ridiculous
I'd hate having to shift with my left hand!:)

@jojosharukhishier Hell yeah. For 80000 I could buy a e92 m3 or e60 m5 :)
@azonicrider32 holland has HUGE taxes... thank god we don't live in holland lol
