Thanks. I'll update the description. To make these 3D letters I used: Foam core which I usually buy at Dollar Tree, a Sharpie, a ruler, and exacto knife (Walmart, or any Craft Store), a hot glue gun and Hot glue sticks.

I want to make the letters bigger so I can use them to prop under a table to hold up glass for a 6ft table. I know I will need more support because its Styrofoam? what size foam do I need to cup this and how can I even make it sturdy with out the extra support whit block to hold the table up.. please help I want it for my event
Nice video, I was curious on a relatively similar topic aka the 3d paper mache letters arts/craft stores sell. It feels like cardstock or construction paper but was curious on how its made... I imagine its really similar to your 3d letter process. Heck your method is so good one can generalize it to many different materials. Only extra constructive criticism i can add is you can make it more structurally sound by using reinforcement ever so often with pieces glued where its not just glued at the borders of the letter.
I am in 5th grade and in art I make 3D letter too but I and my class was make it with cardboard and a paper for the side but for me cut the cardboard with a scissor is the hard part,it hurt my hand.
