Hi Jennifer. I really love all of your tutorials. You explain everything so well - you’re a great teacher. I’ve run into a problem when I’m trying to attach the score lines to the letter H. Hello Jennifer Maker & Team! I am working on the alphabet letters for my Grandson's first birthday! I am having some difficulty in putting the boxes together. Please help! I love them! I have made an A, M, O has presented a problem. I am creating ONE ASARUS for my grandson's birthday party. Thank you for my many projects throughout the years! Beautiful work as always!

I am following the directions in this video, but there is are not 8 parts that say "basic cut" (showing up on the right side) like in this video. There a couple steps that aren't working out. Any suggestions?
Hi, Jennifer, I want to start by thanking you for this amazing tutorial. Also, what should I do if the first eight layers with basic cut layers are not shown?
Hi Jennifer - I think this is a fabulous tutorial and project. I have been using those DT wooden blocks and putting the Cricut Letters on them, but they are just 3". I love Big things. I can see that these will take a little time to make, but the ideas are limitless. Thanks for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
Wait! Are you kidding me?! For FREE?? No way! Jennifer you’re amazing! I have these files saved on Etsy but couldn’t bring myself to buy the files because they aren’t exactly super cheap so I just saved them and had them sitting there for the longest time. And you’re giving these free? Thank you thank you! ❤️
The 3D letters are very interesting. I would like some additional videos on other letters, especially those with curves, like B, P, D, & Q. It seems a little difficult to bend/glue on the curves and not certain where the tabs are attached, especially on the inside of the curves. Thanks for keeping the endless creativity alive!
I love these! Thank you for so generously sharing your work--I know you must have spent hours figuring out all of this!! I am thinking I will use either one or up to 3 letters for my granddaughter's birthday next month, and fill it/them with money, candy, etc. It will be so fun!
Jennifer, I am loving making these letters, but I am stuck with the letter S. I am not good at putting puzzles together and it is getting the best of me. I don't know where to start with putting them together. I tried all sorts of combinations with the circles and shapes and I am not getting anywhere. I am sure it is quite simple but my brain isn't getting it. please help. Thanks. I think all I need is which piece do I start with at the top of the S and does it go on the inside or outside. :)
Am I the only one having problems trying to figure out how to assemble the walls of the S?? My first letter turned out great! I had to try all my kids letters, but i'm stumped on the S
Fabulous design and tutorial!! One of your best yet. Perhaps a silly question, but are the letters designed to be resized by just using the sizing handle with the aspect ratio locked?
I have been watching your videos before I bought my Cricut machine. All the tutorials for a variety of crafts inspired me and motivated my to get the machine. Thank-you for posting these videos and making content free for us newbies .
Thank you Jennifer. I LOVE ALL your tutorials. I have watched many others from different people, and I must say yours are the easiest to follow. I have learned soo much from you. THANKS A MILLION!
Thanks heaps, these look great. I don't know if this is a silly question, I am very new to Cricut but why are the score lines 'basic cut lines' in the design, why aren't they pre designed with score lines instead of changing them manually from cut lines to score lines?
Unfortunately, Cricut recently made a change to Design Space and it changed most of our files. It changed all of our Score lines to Cut lines. This will have to be manually changed before you can cut the project. Please go to this blog post for instructions on how to change the proper cut lines back to Score lines: jennifermaker.com/cricut-scoring-tools-tips/ Once you fix the score lines, it should cut properly. 💕
Wow. What a great video and set of files. I plan on making several of them. But I’ll be gluing the decorative accents before assembly so I can use some stashed vinyl I want use up.

I thought the one for the joy would make a wonderful holder for a gift card. Thank you so much you're awesome you're the only one I watch. You keep me quite busy.
Thank you so much for such an awesome tutorial and the free files! I apologize if this was already answered. I'm assuming I already know the answer, but figured I'd double-check. To resize these, do we just resize as a group? I'm wanting to make an 11" high number.
Hi Jennifer. I just have to tell you that I love these letters. I am making them for my grandkids for Easter and filling them with Easter eggs. I have done two letters for far. I am having some difficulty with the "S". When I finally get to the make it part it looks like one of the tabs is part of the outside (accent)part of the letter. When I tried to put the pieces together it seems like one of the tabs is missing. I wonder if you could tell me which piece I begin with and where to start. Thank you in advance.
I may make some more videos for letters are are giving people some problems with assembly. The S does fit together but seems to be a difficult letter for many crafters. Using clothes pins to help hold it together while glueing can help.
@@JenniferMaker thank you for getting back to me. However, after looking at it again one of the tabs is on the top accent piece. Is this correct? I'm sorry I am having some real difficulty with this one. Thank you again for this great project.
Is there an easy way to resize the letters? For example, I want to make each letter 12inch. Thank you again for providing this for free! I’m planning to make these letters for my daughter’s first birthday in June!
Thank you so much for explaining everything the way you did. I do have a question though. I am wanting to make these for my classroom at school. We have a sink and cabinets in our rooms, and above the cabinets, I wanted to make "Mrs. Lambert." About how tall is the final project? or is there a way to make them larger? I know how to make things bigger in design space, but I don't want them to be not proportional. Thank you!
This is so amazing! You really made it easier for a newbie crafters like me! What’s cool is that, it can be a gift box! Thank you very much Jenifer for this🙏
Hi Janice, great idea! Sorry to bother you but how did you make these into gift boxes too, did you just make 2 of each letter but 1 slightly bigger to go over the other? Hope I am not too confusing! Thanks :)
Hi Jennifer, let me begin by saying that you're amazing and so is your work. I'm confused about how to do the letter A. Is anything supposed to be done to the letter A? Are we supposed to add score lines? What about the pieces that do not have a top layer (3rd row)? Are we still supposed to attach it? I'm sorry this threw me off. Please help 😔
I appreciate your Videos and Love how you explain everything with details but for the love of God I can’t figure out how to assemble the letter C 😢 do I need to change the sizes? Or is there a tutorial somewhere I Can watch I would really appreciate the Help, thank You.
These are beautiful, thank you. However, I am a beginner with my CRICUT and I can’t seem to remove the lines for the top part of the letter and my machine cuts those spaces out . Please help, trying to make my granddaughter’s name for her birthday.
In Design Space now the score lines have to be changed from cut to score and then attached. Here is a tutorial. jennifermaker.com/cricut-scoring-tools-tips/
Hi I was wondering if you could plz help me? I’m super new to Cricut. I’ve uploaded the letters svg. For the life of me I can’t figure it out how to attach the score lines, on my layers panel I don’t get the basic cut or score option. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong?
To start with, thanks a tonne for sharing your amazing creation of letter, numbers & special characters. Im having a bit of difficulty trying to align the tabs on the numbers as noy sure where the tabs with tiny shapes start or end. Do you have a tutorial for the numbers and how to resize them for a larger projects? Would appreciate your kind advise and help in this regard?
I haven’t tried this yet but you can absolutely use my tutorial on cutting projects larger than your mat to experiment with larger letters. You’ll need tape or another method to put your pieces together, but take your time and it should work. If you have a visible line where pieces have been taped together, just cover it with an accent or decoration!
I know this video was done some time ago, but I'm trying to make letters and I can't see what size the file is before you hit make it. I want my letters to be 5-6 inches high. Also, is there a way to rearrange the cuttings so I don't waste so much paper?
Jennifer thank you for answer my question about X / A letters from your library. Those letters are different from the M because they are just the letters with no tabs so I don’t know where to connect the “ other tabbed/ scored” pieces. Thank you for taking so much of your time. I am trying to figure out how to make these letters.
I was wanting to add an extra layer…Do you happen to know what the dimensions would be for this? I tried resizing the number myself but I can’t figure it out.
Thank you so much for sharing these. I am having a problem making the letter T. I can't figure out how to assemble this. In your tutorial, you use the letter M which has two of the sides already attached. None of the sides are attached on the letter T. Can you please let me know how I would assemble this letter. Thank you again!
I wanna ask you ; abouth Cricut plotter machine What is the cricut lifespan? For example, can it do hundreds of cutting jobs non-stop? (Of course it requires replacement of blade and cutting mat) Is it suitable for a mini handmade workshop or should we buy something more professional? Thank you for your answer
It would be helpful if there was a video that included some of the letters that are not mainly straight edges. I tried making an S and it is completely different than the letters shown in this video. It was hard to figure out and it would have been great if there was some guidance. I watched the video and the blog post but I didn't really find anything helpful. I tried searching for videos posted by other people and didn't find anything.

Thanks :)
@@sukhip5587 hi! The pattern itself is a box. You don’t really need to do anything except to follow Jennifer’s video tutorial.
@@janiceomang3033 Apologies I thought you meant a lidded gift box haha :) thank you though
@@sukhip5587 yes it has a lid
Hi Jennifer, let me begin by saying that you're amazing and so is your work. I'm confused about how to do the letter A. Is anything supposed to be done to the letter A? Are we supposed to add score lines? What about the pieces that do not have a top layer (3rd row)? Are we still supposed to attach it? I'm sorry this threw me off. Please help 😔
You can find some tips here jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters-tips/🥰
I appreciate your Videos and Love how you explain everything with details but for the love of God I can’t figure out how to assemble the letter C 😢 do I need to change the sizes? Or is there a tutorial somewhere I Can watch I would really appreciate the Help, thank You.
There are many tips on the blog post. When you ungroup make sure not to adjust an individual size. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
You have to ungroup the design first. the select the score lines and change the operation to score. Select that layer and the base layer and "attach"🥰
There are more details on the blog post here. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
Jennifer how do I edit the size..with all the layers ??? To make letters bigger?? Thank you...love your videos❤️
With the entire letter, to include layers grouped, you would adjust the size.
I learned so many things watching your tutorial. My question is how to correctly resize to make the letter/# to cut as big as possible on a 12x12 mat?
I haven’t tried this yet but you can absolutely use my tutorial on cutting projects larger than your mat to experiment with larger letters. You’ll need tape or another method to put your pieces together, but take your time and it should work. If you have a visible line where pieces have been taped together, just cover it with an accent or decoration!
I know this video was done some time ago, but I'm trying to make letters and I can't see what size the file is before you hit make it. I want my letters to be 5-6 inches high. Also, is there a way to rearrange the cuttings so I don't waste so much paper?
These are like 5" high. You can see the details on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
I think that your tutorials are wonderful. I live in the UK and I've followed your instructions but unfortunately, I'm unable to access your library.

There are detailed instructions and photos on the letter A on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
I was wanting to add an extra layer…Do you happen to know what the dimensions would be for this? I tried resizing the number myself but I can’t figure it out.
I am not exactly sure what you mean. You can resize the letters.
Thank you so much for sharing these. I am having a problem making the letter T. I can't figure out how to assemble this. In your tutorial, you use the letter M which has two of the sides already attached. None of the sides are attached on the letter T. Can you please let me know how I would assemble this letter. Thank you again!
We are working on more letters and adding them to the blog post. Check it out here. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
I’m having a hard time resizing it /: it’s either not compatible or it makes me cut on a 12x24 mat which I don’t have , how can I fix the problem 😩
Make sure everything is ungrouped. Depending on how large you make the letter, a 12 x 24 mat you may need.
I wanna ask you ; abouth Cricut plotter machine
What is the cricut lifespan? For example, can it do hundreds of cutting jobs non-stop? (Of course it requires replacement of blade and cutting mat) Is it suitable for a mini handmade workshop or should we buy something more professional? Thank you for your answer
It would be helpful if there was a video that included some of the letters that are not mainly straight edges. I tried making an S and it is completely different than the letters shown in this video. It was hard to figure out and it would have been great if there was some guidance. I watched the video and the blog post but I didn't really find anything helpful. I tried searching for videos posted by other people and didn't find anything.
I have details on the blog post with more letters. Clothes pins help with curves. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
Can't wait to make these for my home! And gifts! ☺️ I absolutely love how simple you make these to follow!! You're the best!
Jennifer, I enjoy all of your tutorials. With these 3D ltrs., can they easily be converted into shaker 3D?
I have a tutorial on 3D shakers jennifermaker.com/3d-letters-with-shaker/ 🥰
Just trying this with the letters J and S but cannot figure it out as the pieces are all separated. How do you attach curved letters?!?!?!???
The J is explained in detail here. jennifermaker.com/3d-letters-with-shaker/
Love the video and letters. I'm wondering if you off symbol such as "&" symbol?
You can request that. jennifermaker.com/projectrequests/ jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/

Hello Jennifer! Thank you for your creative works of art! This is another Awesome project I will be trying! I was curious about the stopper you put on glue. I purchased the same glue you have, and I was wondering. Where did you get the stopper you put on top? So your glue won't dry up. 🤔
There is a stopper with the glue or you can use a long pin with a top on it. That is what I usually use! 💕
Thank you so much. Sadly I bought an svg on estoy but could never use it as there were no instructions Going to give this a try.
Reach out to the seller you purchased from. Usually they are pretty good at helping if there are issues with their files. 🥰
I found the letter but my green part doesn’t come back to the front and I only have 4 mats . I am on an iPhone so not sure what I am doing wrong
I need a visual on this. You can ask in the group. facebook.com/groups/cricutcraftersandmakers/
Love that these are free…..thank you so much!!! I am making them for my daughter’s engagement party and I just can’t figure out how to do the curves on the letter C. Is there a video showing how to glue them? The other letters are turning out BEAUTIFUL!!!
I have a tips page that may help and the C would be a lot like the O that I go over in greater detail, jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters-tips/ ❤️
Thank you for getting back to me, the tip page really helped got it to work out right. ❤
How come when I download the SVG the letter M is different , it does not have the left and right panels attached they are all separate pieces?
You can see the details for the letter M on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
How do you build the letter "C"? So confused (doesn't take much!)

Hi. How can I make them bigger. I’m having trouble getting the right sizes 😢
They should load in to the large size for 12x12 card stock. There are more details on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/3d-paper-letters/
Thank you for the tutorial! I have a question how can I resize the letter to make them bigger?
Yes you can! Thanks for watching! 😊🌻
I'm an idiot and can not for the life of me figure out how to put the letter C together. Can someone please help me. TIA
No you're not! These letters can be very tricky so have grace with yourself 💗Can you give some more information as to where you are having difficulty? You can also always ask for help over in my Facebook group, facebook.com/groups/cricutcraftersandmakers/
clever to differentiate the top and bottom by using sharp and rounded corners!
Thank you!
Love these, only issues I'm having is resizing for cricut joy to have all the letters the same height
You can. do it!
Hello! Love your videos! Is there any way to make the letter’s bigger?
Yes you can make them larger or smaller by changing the size in Design Space. I mention that in the video.
This is amazing! Is it possible to change the size to make them bigger? If yes, how do I do that to make sure everything matches up after it is cut?
Great question, I was just going to ask the same!
Group everything together and then change the size.
