Hello Professor Wes, how are you today? My name is Mr David Guilavgui and I am from Guinea Conakry (WEST AFRICA). I have been Following you on UA-cam for a while and I really appreciate the way you teach. Professor, I would like to ask you two questions; first, Is it necessary to always use a comma before a coordinating conjunction? Second question: Is it necessary to repeat the subjet in a compound sentence when the two independent clauses are about the same person? for instence: She plays basketball and, She likes swimming or She plays basketball and likes swimming (without comma and repeating the suject). Thank you so much.
Hi there Wes! Greetings from Somalia. My name is Abdisamad. For your today's lesson, I have learned types of sentences. Thank you so much, it was quite a useful lesson and I'm looking forward to seeing more useful lessons.
Do I like reading? (Interrogative) Absolutely! (Exclamatory) My wife is taking a Chinese medicine course (Declarative) Don't forget to turn the light off! (Imperative)
Hi, Wes, superb video after long time I learned grammar lesson this is a very useful lesson type and structure is important to reading and writing I enjoyed it I totally understood thanks
I love your lessons. Thumbs up to you. I think, in the example, " You left after 10 minutes...", "after 10 minutes" is a phrase not a clause, and is a part of the preceding clause. In that case, the whole example is a compound sentence, not a compound-complex sentence. I stand to be corrected though. Stay blessed 🙏.
Hello, teacher thank you for providing this video. You generally use prety good words in a sentence .I expect more advance words from you that most of the UA-camrs don't provide us. From India.
Hi Wes! I'm Cristina, thanks for your useful help! I'd really like to be a a fluent English speaker. I Rey to de my best every single day.... Greetings from Valencia ( awesome Spanish city!!)
It was great this grammar was annoying to me all the time but it’s not anymore. But it was technical problem with your video this which was really a drug to me that was a graphic issue. I thank you after all. God bless you!
29.26 - slip "using complex sentences as well as write here a compound-complex sentences so" (...a...sentences...) MORE: embeded questions have "direct word order" BUT you make "question word order" while explaining other grammar or vocab things
