LOVED this! You gave a sort of Top 5 news stories from museums/archeology discoveries around the world. And I appreciate how you don't shy away from suggesting someone vandalizing the colosseum is "stupid."
Loved this round up of museum world news! I’m so glad you spoke about Yilin Wang and the terrible behaviour of the British Museum - it deserves more attention.
Also if you need a news lead: My labor organization is working with a good sized museum to organize a Union. It’s still early in the campaign and I need to keep a bunch of details private, but I could let you know when things heat up.
if you are interested, Max Miller @TastingHistory just did a great video on the pizza-like thing in the Fresco, including a recipe for a historically authentic flatbread. ua-cam.com/users/tastinghistory. Great video, it's a peach!
The USA and UNESCO story is very interesting. First, because I'm in the US and hadn't heard anything about it previously. I also didn't know the history of our inconsistent membership until now. In fact I had never even heard of UNESCO or World Heritage sites until I went to Australia and visited the Great Barrier Reef in 2004 when I was in college. UNESCO just... isn't really a thing here.
I really liked this format. It really angers me when I see or hear about curators of well known and prestigious museums acting so crappy. Also of grown adults defacing historical landmarks. Seriously people?? Ugh!! Oh and I loved the early pizza find. And it was a dessert pizza. LOL
I like this! It lets me learn interesting news that I am otherwise very unlikely to encounter
I really enjoyed this format! I missed some of these stories and I very much liked your balanced presentation. Please make more!

I like this video and format! It's cool to be given a bit of a view over many topics and then decide what to look into for myself 😊🙏
Great content remarking on what's happening in different places.
I thought this was really interesting! Would like to see more. :)

Apparently, there are 24 UNESCO sites in the USA with a bunch of other sites on a waiting list. Sounds like a great excuse for a road trip~
@@professorpeachez Hmm, it seems I need to do some research 🙂
