The square is at least pretty far away from the plaza in the first game, as you can see the green tower in the distance.

I feel like I'm the only Splatoon fan in the world who takes into account that inklings can only switch between humanoid and squid form *at the age of **_14_*
Both Charles & Marc at 9:11 should be just squids in that story
but it depends on the stage of develoment.

Yeah I dunno why a lot of animators make inklings be in humanoid form before 14
with some exceptions! On a Sunken Scroll from the second game, you can see Callie & Marie in humanoid form on a very young age which is 100% before the age of 14, and I believe the main character of the manga also can go into humanoid form far before the age of 14.
Not that I like to be that guy or anything ... but already being:
Inkopolis Plazza isn't too far from Inkopolis Square (You can see the Tower from back of Crusty Sean's Truck).

Vívio CA2 Bit of a plothole there. Inkopolis Square is still in Inkopolis, just like Inkopolis Plaza. Although this could be explained later just as the crowd that still hangs out in Inkopolis Plaza as the "uncool" crowd now.
There's also the fact that baby Inklings look like squids and then they metamorphose into more humanoid forms until they become full-fledged Inklings at age 14 but meh, we can ignore this and that XD

I hope this series will continue! There’s so many references to famous youtubers like ScottFalco (With CyborgChan) and Sr Pelo (With himself), but also the comedy and morality of this cartoon as well! It’s a great pilot overall and I hope this gets another episode or even a whole series!
