HI, Buckin' Billy Ray community, I am glad to have found this channel, I like many others on here at 4:30 in the morning, have been laid off from work due to the Covid and was getting depressed. Well, as you know, the positivity made my day. The comments are not a toxic waste disposal facility. They are inviting, welcoming, and just plain friendly. Thank you all Brandon Theisen.
hey friend yeah whatdya think of that ,, i worked tirelessly to accomplish this environment years ago , thx for sayin so it is appreciated ,, most of all welcome
I love watching you split wood, it's almost like a dance! I'm a retired Mason and appreciate a professional doing their craft! That saw was a beast! I bought a Husqvarna in 1991 and still have it. All the other saws were starting to become plastic. I had a Husqvarna motor cycle in 1980 that ran like a scalded dog. I was scary!
Oh Billy, make sure Doug lets you get your bit into some of our short/stout timber, such as our dead Ash of the Midwest. Especially if’n it’s cut for a boiler. You take a chunk that is 30” long and contains multiple knots ... They will definitely bring your heart rate up! We will occasionally get ahold of straight, clean log, but for firewood, they are the exception! At least in my neck-o-the woods! PS, it was fun watching Buckin’s videos on BBR’s iPhone! Love to The Army of Kindness! Be Blessed!
Buckin never change who you are now, we have A LOT in common, especially our past history, it's crazy from our younger bad days, to breaking our back, we are who we are and ain't gonna change for anyone, if so only for the better...I could go on and on. Buckin...I'm so grateful to have found you, and ur awl inspiring kindness, love and knowledge....just a great man. All the stuff that has happened and what we've done in our past has carved us into who we are. I had the same situation with sobriety but she didn't come back...but now I'm at 3 years married now with the sweetest little girl who only wants to help others and is going to master in counseling and helping others...I'm so blessed
I have a Concord Maple in my front yard though it's quite young, the leaves are that size as you showed and they are just gorgeous when they change color in fall, but so true they don't compost down for year's at a time, well anyway that saw cut's like butter great job on sharpening my friend..Friend's enjoy your weekend and please stay safe..
Buckin I loved the story you told in the truck. Funny how so many off us have lived very similar lives just in slightly different ways. I love hearing your stories of times past. My favorite part of the show! Much love from Washington
Btw I thought I was funny when I could hear the Canadian geese in the background honking while you were splitting. We have those things everywhere too.
Just thinking how Billy's wife's new man reacted when he knew a man owning dozens of razor sharp axes wanted her back..🙂 "Here you go Billy, all yours mate"
I just love these older videos and the older models. My oldest Saw is my 372xp. There is no better than it with a 24 inch Bar. Its straight off the shelf in i think 2003. A realy grand replacement for my 266 and 272. What a rockin threesome!😅 Thanks Buckin.
Thanks Billy I really needed that tonight bud, I can ramble on though I won't ok. Give Wendy a big hug from me! Paul weller the woodcutters son is my song ( I'm cutting down the wood for the good of everyone) but you can have it for tonight. Hiya Cynthia & hiya John fisher thy dog lover👍 love to all here folks
Hi Mikey, all good here buddy, got my boy Ben Dog next to me on the sofa - he is a 12 yr old staffy ridgeback cross. Just like you said, 'Man's best friend'! Have a good weekend fella.
Bucking, Your videos help me so much. Thank you. I’m a veteran that feels like I never do enough and your videos help to calm me. I love your positivity and love for life. Thanks again.
There is no human problem that splitting wood by hand that can confront, put into perspective/context and solve. You, the axe, the wood and stacking. Simplicity.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love it when you run that 372!! It sounds awesome :-) Trish says hello! Love to you and your family my friend!! :-)
Just have to mention that I recently found your youtube page. and I get happy every time I watch your movies. You are so amazingly possitv. continue with that.
One of my favorite videos from you in a while Buckin' thank you. Your silence as you wailed on your rounds for 5 minutes was perfect -no words needed, literally therapy for you and us! I enjoyed every minute of music from your killler 372, amazed at the piles of wood it was pulling out, laughed out loud when you broke into yet more hilarious foreign accents, mimicked "legit woodsmen" and poured your bar oil from two feet ...right in the hole. You make me want to buy a 372... what a freekin' pig that thing is! Awesome! Great, great video!
I loved your saying there at the end. Very true indeed. Watching some of your videos and listening to you chat I do believe that you are a very powerful person through the expressions of your thoughts and being. Keep up the awesome work and the chats....much love to you brother from the east coast...
You are right about felling your firewood in the winter. Make sure you get it done before spring(I.e. maple syrup season) if you wait until just before the tree leaf outs the wood will be saturated with water. I’ve see white oak so wet it will rinse the oil of your chain and burn your chain. If the trees is that saturated your better off to wait for it to leaf out and utilize some of the moisture out of the tree.
Hey Buckin' Billy, g'day from Australia mate. Did you know ..... Paddy and Mick are at the job centre looking for work. They come across a sign that says "tree fellers wanted". Paddy says to Mick, "Ahhh, what a pity there's only the two of us!" Hahaha lol. Ahh I crack me up.... Hey mate love your work, well done to you.
Hey Buckin, been a casual viewer for a few weeks now but the scene of you splitting wood pushed me to subscribe. Love the monologues and appreciate the hard word. Thanks for the content.
