Great work on the heat treat: most people never figure out that if you want a perfect soak at about 1450 degrees Fahrenheit before quench, just melt salt and use the molten salt bath because it will maintain that temperature regardless of the surrounding temperature being hotter, so you don't overheat your blade. But fyi, before you test hardness with those files, you should remove the scale from the area you're going to test, because the scale can give you a false high reading (but yours was likely correct because of the salt bath ensuring good temp before the quench).
