I think because you did it so late, I think the one thing that would make sense in this context would be Kril saying: "It's nice that I got my home back, but I still need to stop Firth." Although if you did it before you went to confront Roland or get the final piece of the map an alternate ending should be made.
When I thought about it, I came here hoping for a secret ending. Instead, the game just goes on like normal. I was really expecting the moment Kril buys his home back, he drops the fork and just heads back to the beginning of the game
tbh i disagree the guy saying that its obv that nothing would happen, i feel like if they didnt intend for someone to find it out eventually (through grinding or cheats), then they wouldnt have added the option to buy it in the first place. am i wrong or does this make sense? especially cuz its difficult but feasible to get it through grinding
The cap on micro plastics is 10,000. The shell costs 999,999,999 which obviously means you were never intended to buy it bc it’s not possible to have that much so what did you expect to happen. An impossible outcome isn’t going to be programmed to do something
im assuming that's a typo because the average player will get >10k microplastics many times during a playthrough. also, yes, obviously you're not intended to buy the shell, hence why i had to cheat to get the microplastics. however, that doesn't mean "what happens when you buy the shell?" isn't a perfectly valid question. there are a lot of games that include an easter egg for impossible scenarios, and im sure people were curious if there was one for this. i'm very proud of you for being able to deduce nothing will happen. please don't ruin other people's curiosity, though.
an alternate ending would be so good
i really hope when they add New Game+ that there will be some sort of secret for buying the shell
The alternative ending probably would be some bad greed ending
U r right
Or maybe where krill just goes back to the reef and nothing happens
Well I mean would the devs expect someone to get 999,999,999 micro plastics without exploits?
It even makes sense with the story and the final message, Krill would go back to his peaceful little life to do nothing.
That’s kinda disappointing I’m ngl
It’s imposible to get 999,999,999 micro plastics. The cap is 10,000 so what did u expect to happen
@@ben8698the cap is definitely not 10,000

i only have 5 shells left to complete the collection. WHERE IS THAT CAR SHELL
It's hidden on the roof of one of the tallest buildings in Flotsam Vale. You have to use the magnet to drop down onto it.

Darn
i was hoping that they would like the devs would put a special note there and call you out for cheating
My disappointment is immesurable, and my day is ruined.
damn thats dissapointing i was hoping for an alternate ending or something ..
They added it as a joke and it would take years to get to and with their budget it’s not worth adding pointless features

A little disappointing, but to be fair what were you expecting?
I don't know what I was expecting but I'm still disappointed.

0:23 "Hey I'm walking here!"
Genually how did u buy it?how did you manage to have that amount of microplastic?
cheat engine lol
It's shown in the first few seconds too. You probably didn't know that app he opened is Cheat Engine.
I really hoped krill would’ve gave his shell to dune (the homeless crab) who’s waiting for the right shell in New Carcinia
He does in the end credits
He does
That was a bit anit climatic these guys should take tips off the high on life devs 😂
Ya that was a bit sad
Done with cheat, i wonder if you could save and buy it legit?
I thought prawnathan would have added a 9 so you can't buy it. Idk what i was expecting. Lol

i can 100% see people grinding for it even if it had another 9
Spoiler Alert:
You could just kill him like you do after the final boss
I did that instead talking to him first lol. I did it twice 😂.
what happens if you kill prawn early?
it's weird they even let you do it

How did you buy it for 10000 micro plastics it costs 999999

at least later on the cap is a lot higher, I'm not sure how high it is at any point, but perhaps there is an early cap on 10k and its later increased?
idk what yall on theres NO cap for microplastics
he said the cap is 10k lmao
CAP indeed 🧢
