It was not - but it did get further than this: paxton-road.blogspot.com/search/label/creech%20barn It is currently 90% done - but because it lives in a box, and I've plenty of other distractions that don't, I'm not sure it will ever be finished.
The curves are hand bent using a rail bender. I can’t remember the exact size but I think the boards are something like 30 x 40cm, making the radius about 15cm I guess.
This is a 009 setrack turnout so is insulfrog. I have added some micro strip in the frog area to stop the wheels dropping which has made a big difference.
Very interesting
Thanks, I’ll add more as the project progresses!
Super Idee. Danke fürs Zeigen.
Thank you!
Was this ever finished? I’d love to see it!

@@JamesHiltonCustomModelRailways wow...
That's fantastic! I love your work! Are you using insul-frog or electro-frog points?

@@JamesHiltonCustomModelRailways That sounds like a great idea! Stalling on points drives me nuts! I'd love to see how you did it.
@@charliebrusty I will try and do a short video
@@JamesHiltonCustomModelRailways awesome thankyou!
I've added a video on that today - it's in the workbench playlist.
Excuse the spelling mistake in the titles! Very embarrassing!
An layout with truly Japanese dimensions, only 20 times the size of an credit card.
20 times the size of a credit card, that’s one hell of a quote!
