Absolutely breathtaking. Your use of materials takes me back to how my brother and I used to make our models for our train set. Everything custom built, based on local structures. Again, a beautiful construction and layout.
I had a chance before to tour the layouts in the U.S.A. and was overwhelmed by the grandeur of them. Completely different from them, I am now enjoying cozy scale layout, thank you.(^_^)

Compared with the vast great nature in CAN, Japan itself seems like a small layout fixed with a lot of artificial retaining walls. I'm glad to know that you like it. Thank you.
かつて、幼い時に、この地に住んでいた者として感激しました。
中才選鉱場の再現度も素晴らしいですが、通洞抗口に鉱業所の電気機関車まで組み込まれてるのは見事です。
そして、国鉄色キハ10系がトコトコ走るさまは、フォーン音やディーゼルエンジンの響き、レールの踏音まで思い出させてくれました。
誠にありがとうございました。
住まわれていた方からのコメント、とても嬉しいです。閉山を機に昔の輝きを失ったこの地は侘しさと共に何となくノスタルジックさを感じてしまうものですね。貴殿なら尚更の事でしょう。そんな想いを抱きながら作りました。
擁壁にキッチンペーパーを使うアイデアと云い、製作途上は悩ましくも、とても楽しく充実した時間だったのでしょうね♪ 素晴らしい！
はい、おかげで4か月間没頭できました。今は次に何を作るか、これも楽しく思案中です。

Excellent modeling skills! I like the dichotomy between the realistic scenes and the cartoonish 'shorty' railcar. I would love to see videos for how you make your scratch built structures and micro details.....very amazing!

はい、1970年代の国鉄足尾線をモチーフにしています。

Thanks for the comment. Different from the vast flat land in Australia, the landscape in Japan is narrow and surrounded by mountains where such scenery like this layout can be seen.
The track and scenery is good but so is the video. Just the right length, just the right level of detail. Both are well done.

せっかくいいレイアウトだからスケールサイズの列車運転して欲しかったな😅
カーブがきつくて走れませんが、自分でもどんな風に見えるのだろうと思い、改造前のキハを置いて撮った写真がありますので、後日これをお見せしましょう。
私は素晴らしい情景だと思います。どのみちNレールではスケールモデルでは無いですし リアルな情景にバッサリ割り切った車両が清々しいです‼️
