    Well, I'm a man of my word! The video has hit 10k views, and I've ordered the new Kindle Scribe. It's due to arrive on December 7th, and I'll work as quickly as I can to get a comparison video live. Stay tuned!

      Looking forward to a good review. I've been thinking about the Scribe for quite a while. The Remarkable Pro is just too pricey for me.

      ... Oh and one thing I would love to see/have is like a 5x7 or 4x6 size device like the Remarkable or Scribe but I can't seem to find anything decent. I find a smaller pad is more useful to me for notes on limited desk space and on the run.

    You said 10000 views, and I thought your review was one of the best I'd seen, so I'd be keen for the direct comparison with the kindle scribe 2024

    Well that seems like an expensive peice of paper that I'll never have any use for.
    Pretty cool tech if you have a need though. Would love to see you so more reviews

    how is it compared to writing with a stylus like an apple pencil

    • @cocreativedesign
      @cocreativedesign  28 днів тому +2

      It felt smoother and more natural than a regular stylus! The Remarkable’s pen has a bit of extra weight, which actually makes it feel more solid and comfortable to write with. Overall, it gives a really authentic handwriting experience.

    I don't think the newly announced Scribe has colour.

      Good to see you watched till the end! Yes the new Kindle Scribe isn't colour but i still think it would be a good one to compare as it has a much cheaper price point.

      Although I read somewhere that the 'old' kindle (that I have) is getting a firmware update to give it the same features as the new kindle.@@cocreativedesign

      Scribe and RM2 arrived today. Opened both. Repacked Scribe within 30mins and returning to Amazon - the RM2 feels more like paper to write with using both the Amazon Scribe Pen and the RM2 pen. I used the RM2 pen and scribe pen on the Scribe and it felt more like writing on a glass top - some friction but closer to writing like on iPad. It just didn’t feel nice. RM2 anlso had more pen options and the image on the screen looked more realistic annd satisfying than Scribes. Also the Scribe doesn’t have unlimited canvas unlike RM2 which allows page to expand. Scribe has no zoom function. Scribe also doesn’t allow a page in a notebook to be moved to a different notebook - that’s annoying. I wonder if the RM Pro colours and the glass screen are worth the upgrade.

    I currently use a rocket book. I am a business professional and looking for some insight. Is this useful? I am a huge believe in lists and do a lot of document review. How nice and seamleass is the organization? Are there better options? Give me everything.

    • @cocreativedesign
      @cocreativedesign  17 днів тому +1

      I'm glad you asked! I've been enjoying using it so far. It's definitely more expensive than the Rocketbook, but it serves the purpose of lists and document review very well. If you're not concerned about color, the Remarkable 2 might be a good option to consider. One feature I'm finding especially handy is the to-do checklist-it stays on the screen even when the device is in sleep mode, which helps keep my tasks top of mind.

      I have beem using Rocketbook for a long time, and I made the change. The challenge I had with the rocketboom was that I still had to type whatever notes I made, with the remarkable the text recognition feature (you have to ge it through an update) is useful in that regard.

    I expected a lot more given all the hype in the comments. It’s honestly not that impressive. The pen technology feels like a step backward, especially since it needs a battery, and the screen seems like it's still experimental. Honestly, the best thing about Remarkable is the marketing...I'm keeping my Boox Note Air 3c.

    • @cocreativedesign
      @cocreativedesign  28 днів тому +3

      Totally get it! The hype can really set high expectations. The pen and screen are definitely unique, but it’s not going to be everyone’s favorite. I think Remarkable does a great job marketing, for sure! Sounds like the Boox Note Air 3c is more your style - thanks for sharing your take!

      @@cocreativedesignandroid is poor people OS. It is inefficient. Slow. Buggy. If what you need is a notebook but digital - the only competitor to remarkable is supernote and that’s entirely because of its indexing, linking and star system etc.

    Returned after 10 days, what a crap for such high price. Backlight sucks,
    No dictionary (what?)
    No good file management
    Low storage
    No external storage (SD)
    It's juts a notepad but very expensive

    It amazes me that in 2024 there are still people prioritising unnecessary video quality and ignoring their audio altogether. If you don’t care about your message why should I watch?

      Thanks for the feedback! You’re totally right-audio is so important, and it's something I’m working hard to improve. As a product designer, I’m naturally more focused on visuals, but I definitely want to make the audio experience better too. Appreciate you calling it out, and I’m on it!

    Not good enough.
    They changed the wacom to stupid usi pen. Usi is known for jittery lines.
    So stupid, boox onyx is better, it support more apps and use wacom emr pen.
    Whoever defended remarkable is just a shills, because they bought overpriced junk so they want to justify their purchase, well its not, remarkable went into Kindle route, they want everything to be closed source for profit, they need a stupid buyer that fall into their marketing to absorbed into their ecosystem.
    Boox onyx are like high end kobo, they give what user want and they don't force any shit.
    If anyone want to challenge my opinion than you are dismissed, because you are not superior for buying overpriced products and you want to defend it, for anyone else take note, the truth is hard to digest.
    Whoever reply to me you are entitled karen you dismissed!!!
