United put the 'Crazy Gang' firmly in their place;with an annihilation at Selhurst Park in February's FA Cup 5th Round tie, when they were unstoppable.
Pallister, bruce, hughes, cantona, keane, robson, ince, schmeichal, irwin were all no nonsense tough footballers and huge personalities who played with such power and finesse, no such thing as pink boots, neck warmers, gloves or such stuff that some teams wear these days and their opponents think we'll take these soft bastards. The United team of 92-93, 93-94 was one of the most powerful and free flowing teams in English football history
"tough footballers". So you mean they couldn't paly football and could only stop a player by fouling him because they were too bad to stop them through legal means.
Thanks for uploading this classic FACupWithBudweiser video. I loved the FACupWithBudweiser so much more when it was the FACupWithoutBudweiser (aka "the FA Cup"). Gee, the FACupWithBudweiser sure is neat.
@kizoekid it is commercialized indeed...and you know why? not because of man united, chelsea or arsenal, but because of teams like real madrid and barca and people like mourinho, messi, ronaldo etc. it's kinda sad really.
Good point. I had it in my head that the 1-0 win when Fashanu scored helped secure the title for Blackburn, but that was in 94. In fact when we whupped Blackburn 4-1 we probably handed you the title on a plate.
1994/95 - United 3-0 Wimbledon Wimbledon 0-1 United So unless you mean you lost to Blackburn that season I'm not sure how you denied us the title! And yes, I'm a geek for statistics and need to get out more lol.
I would regard the 1999 treble winning team as the best Manchester United team. I would, however, regard the 2008 or the 1994 Manchester United teams as the 2nd best
@@jeremyslaney5644 The 2008 vintage should have emulated the 99 Treble winners. How on earth we contrived to lose that 6th Rnd FA Cup tie at OT vs Portsmouth when we basically battered them for 90 minutes, I'll never know!......and only West Brom and Cardiff would have stood in the way after that. Gutted at the time.
Had to search this up after reading in Sir Alex’s book that the 3rd goal in this game was the best United goal he’d ever seen

Well said 'OP' & Kanchelskis 👏
What's wrong with gloves?!

Best game I’ve watched on screen, live at Old Trafford. Also, the only game I’ve watch on screen, live at Old Trafford.
Are you drunk? This match wasn't at Old Trafford.
@@brianduru3753: There were screens at Old Trafford. Simple enough for you?
Great side and a joy to watch.
The fouls that went on in this game
How the hell does this highlight not show the fierce tackle by Vinnie Jones on Cantona?
I came here because of that tackle
Thanks, you saved me 8 mins 😊👍
Some Utd fans didn't get home till 30 mins after final whistle.
That is vintage Cantona. Drink a drink a drink a drink.....
United were just too good that day, although we helped deny them the title in 1995 and got FA Cup revenge in 1997
Nice shirts. Glazer out.
why are wimbledon wearing their away kit :S?
whats Irwin doing at the end? sniffing the pitch? eating it?
Why are both teams wearing their away kits?
It sounds like United are the home team

poor wimbledon..
this is the football i remember real legends like cantona now all football is overpriced players with no passion well the majority
jb050774 how did wimbledon stop united winning the title in 95? We beat wimbledon home and away that season.

Wimbledon were a classic side. Sad to see their demise.
1994/95 - United 3-0 Wimbledon
Wimbledon 0-1 United

Yeah I got it wrong. We beat you 1-0 in 94 but we also thrashed Blackburn that season, so actually did you a favour.
7:00 - 7:11 Patrice Evra, watch and learn!
@partyhat3 I'd say the team of 99 was slightly better.
