Thanks for the tour. We are hoping to get our Zion Slumber this month. We are retired and it’s been 18 years since we sold our travel trailer. It will definitely be a learning curve. Thanks for the great tips and feedback!!

We're so glad we could help! Since it's just two of you, the Zion will be perfect! Once you get past the learning curve of the electrical system, it all works great. Appreciate you following along and commenting! Wishing you all the best with your new Zion when you take delivery!

PS re: Television - in the black bag with all the booklets, you have a "cigarette lighter plug in connection" to replace the regular plug. It can then be plugged in the back of small cabinet. TV then works while boondocking. I just replaced mine with that instead so kids can use as needed!

I had a feeling that was the case, but didn't want to say without further investigation. Appreciate the comment and you following along. Wishing you well!

Did you ever have any maintenance / reliability issues with your previous F250 diesel engine. I’m thinking of getting the ORV 19MKS (5650 dry / 8250 max).

Good to hear from you! No we never had any real issue with the 250. In fact, we regret letting that truck go. The van is nice, but we didn't know how good we had it with our first ORV and truck set up. What you're describing will be perfect. Hope you're doing well!

@@ResetYourJourney We were originally planning to go full time, but decided on doing several smaller 1-2 month trips instead. Still can come home when we want. I hope you enjoy your new van, but if things don’t work out, hopefully you can try something different. How’s the new drummer coming along? I have a Yamaha set I bought 24 years ago.

@FreeBirdUSA you're making a wise choice. Taking 1-2 month trips is very comfortable to us and has close to the same feeling as fulltime. Appreciate you asking. Our drummer is a natural. He crushes his lessons and jams out on his Roland set daily. He was obsessed with Neil Peart at a very young age, so he was destined to play! Wishing you happy drumming and travels!
