Thanks Glynn for sharing. Timely & helpful! I was feeling a bit discouraged until I found your video. Your realistic tips changed my viewpoint. I have a little more work to do but I feel hopeful. Abroad exploration is calling but I’ll have to be patient until my rig sells. Thanks again
Hello Glynn and Rose! Whooaaa…what an awesome alert to get on my UA-cam! Another Reset Your Journey flick! Thank you very much for this video. These are all good words and experiences that you shared! I am not currently planning to sell. But, this is a great outline to follow! Safe travels!
Talk about awesome alert! Great to see campingalan on our comments page! Keep your ORV. We have regrets of selling and now keep shopping for the perfect family boondocking rig. We can't wait to get back on the road! Always great to hear from you and we wish you well Alan!
@@ResetYourJourney woo hoo! My only regret with our model of ORV is I often think of what life would be with one that is 2-3 feet longer and it has a place to sit, other than a dinette. A couch or theater seats would be awesome. Then again, we kept it small so as to reach the farther back in the woods or desert spots. As luck would have it, most of my trips are during the part of the year that I need to run a heater, at least at night; which means a bit more inside time, at least at night. I say “part of the year that I need to run a heater” a bit tongue and cheek as there is only like 1, maybe 2 months, that I don’t have to winterize when I return from a trip.
We learned the same lesson. A "lounging location" is crucial, especially when fulltime. We can now make a very educated decision when making our next purchase.
@@ResetYourJourneysorry to hear you regret your decision to sell. Sometimes you don't know until after the transaction that it wasn't the right thing to do. I was thinking your next full-time rig was possibly on the water! My very best to you, Rose, and the boys. ❤
Always great to hear from you, Megan! We love the water and even a boat, just not for fulltime. An RV and a boat, now we're talking!! Hope you're doing great!
Every time I think I want to sell my camper, it gives me heartburn. But we do use ours several times a year. And at this point it has so many mods and customization's that it would be a big factor in limiting its value. It wouldn't be particularly appealing to someone wanting a ready turn key solution, as it has things integral with systems on the pickup its used on. I have visions of getting an ORV or even going 5th. But at this point in my life it seems like more worth than its worth.
I fantasize about having a truck camper for its agility and overland ability. Definitely keep yours. We sold ours for a business opportunity in DE that isn't panning out quickly enough, so we may be back in the market. Always great to hear from you!
@@ResetYourJourney Yeah sofar there is no plans to sell it. The only thing that may happen is a bit of a trade up if one falls in my lap. Hope to see you back on the road soon though.
I’m not sure if our TT is a sought after one? We have a 2021 Grand Design 2970RL we love it but we have some health issues that need surgery & are needing to consign or sell soon… Thanks for sharing all the information 🙏🏼 Sub’d 👍
@kcconaty5270 We hope you're health issues are easily resolved. I'm glad we were able to offer some insight for the sale of your Grand Design. Thank you so much for commenting and following along. Wishing you well!
