The bathroom/shower, and Kitchen can still be used without disturbing each other. Most importantly the early folks can exit and enter the van through the back without disturbing anyone ! 👊🏽👊🏽

It’s disheartening that our society can be so cruel, and closed off in regards to different cultures. This is America for gods sake, we are a melting pot of all peoples. I'm happy to know there are means for people of color to find safe places to travel, and I wish it were not necessary. As a white person, I only recently learned how difficult it is for POC to feel safe traveling. I knew there was racism in this country, but I never realized how bad it was, and is. I've only learned in recent years the gravity of the situation, of the white-washing of our history, and of systemic racism. It's very sad and I don't understand it. I am saddened that you feel the need for the above ground railroad.
I am a member of Thousand Trails and see more and more black families enjoying the parks.
I also follow several black van and RVers out west like This Glorious Life on Wheels and others. With some exceptions I am sure, the vast majority of campers welcome families of any skin color or ethnicity. We are a diverse country of many backgrounds and we share this great land together.
You did a fantastic job on your van build and your children will have life long memories from your travels together. RVers are great people.

It doesn’t have to be an issue, people being told by the liberal media that things are this way but they most definitely are not
This family is just as safe as any other in the greatest Country in the history of our planet.
Once people start to wake up from being constantly lied to then, and only then, will this indoctrination end and things can be better.
This amazing family is just as safe as any other and I honestly hope they learn this very soon so that they can stop living in fear of a made up bogeyman

Subscribed! I love the space you created for your family. It feels like a real home. Each space in the build feels curated and special. I love the bathroom at the back of the van as well…seems like it creates more privacy that way.
I also wanted to say that I wish so badly that we didn’t need the Above Ground Railroad in our country. As a Mexican American, I am doing what I can to spread awareness, contribute time & money, educate myself & others and voting for change. I just want your family to know that we see you and your struggle and we want change. Bless you for creating this space ❤️
    * I also wanted to add, another commenter made a reference to self hate for white people or white guilt. It’s not about that - it’s about recognizing what our country did (and continues to do) to black Americans & doing something to enact change. Period.

I guess you know when there is love and prosperity in the air because only then does the devil show up. I was and remain completely confused about that comment and though I'll forget about it in a few minutes it just illustrates the need for forums like this where there can be peaceful outlets that also educate simultaneously while entertaining as well. Your perspective is genuine and genuinely appreciated.👍

I watch so many Van life tours because I look for ideas because this is my 4-5 year goal (right now I'm caring for my mother) so I take notes as to certain things I may like about each build but what most caught my attention about your tour was you were a family of 4 that were traveling together "In a Van" not a big school bus conversion or a big RV but a van that you made yourself and you and you husband still looked like not only that you didn't want to kill each other but actually quite the opposite I seen the love and warmth in you guys and in the build and I wish you safe and very happy travels!

Cute family! I have to say this is a really great layout - for your usage it seems pretty perfect. The European style front is practical (and safe with proper forward facing seats and belts) works well as a dining area. Great thinking on the bathroom and open all the way through normally is great. I'm surprised you don't have a counter extension for the kitchen (but looks like you might have tried something there?). Electrical and heating seem ideal (but not for hot desert of course). I also really like the aesthetics beyond the structural design - clean bright lines and great fabrics. Then your channel logo on the spare tire cover - great touch!

Your rig is awesome, the kids are lucky to have great parents. Who take remember to places that are important and worth going to. Not only fun but educational to, love when trios become educational. Heck when the kids go off to college maybe they can use the van as a dorm room. Save alot of money on housing, quite a few college students do this to save money and have a quiet place to study and sleep. Love love the bathroom shower set up, really cool, and a spot to sit and shave your legs if you need to, or just to sit when you have a muscle spasm and or for those who have broken a leg or arm, just a comfy shower. You don't see that in van or busses much. Having a seat in the shower/ bathroom, love your van, have fun stay safe and healthy love deeply and make a bunch of memories.

Wow, you guys did an amazing job on the layout and build. It's the only family setup I have ever liked. I like the fact that the beds are completely separated from each other giving the adults privacy.

Seriously, one of the best set ups I’ve seen yet in any van conversion! And your tour is best I’ve seen, you show us what you’ve done without going into too much detail that most do!! You guys could teach so many others how to do all of this! Thank you!!

Awesome van build! I love how important family adventures are to you both and how you focused on the kids being able to enjoy views & snacks while you drive. The couch cushions are beautiful and look like the MOST comfy I’ve seen on van life tours yet! Awesome job! The bunk beds were a total surprise. Really cool. I hope your family has wonderful safe travels. It’s inspiring to see such a thoughtful build for what I’m sure are truly meaningful experiences. Your children will always have beautiful shared memories. It’s so great! Blessings.

I totally love the reason behind your decision. I felt the same as well and was nervous for my family and I to travel to Arizona and Utah, because we are a mixed couple with 2 teens, and one having autism. Long story short we had an amazing time and everyone was so kind and understanding. We met others that had relatives with autism. People were so grateful to be working again and were so friendly and happy.
People were so glad to just be and have normalcy again.

People that have relatives with ADHD and autism need to check out The Block Center. They get to the root cause. They are in Fort worth, Texas. Doctor's name is Mary Block. You can also watch her on UA-cam. She is a orthomolecular physician. You might can find one in your area. Orthomolecular physician.

Probably one of the nicest layouts I've seen, it's hard to believe that a family of 4 could be so perfectly accommodated in such a cozy space. Enjoy your many fun adventures with your beautiful family. Cheers!

Love this spacious van! The bathroom in the back is killer! Not having it in the "living spaces" makes complete sense!
