Trial Bike Basics: The Next Five Skills To Learn
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 сер 2024
- Now that you're off and running with your trials skills, it's time to move on to the next five techniques. In this video, we'll be learning rolling tricks - this method will make it less about balance and more about the movement!
We'll also incorporate obstacles into these skills, so find a small curb or something similar to use for your pedal timing on and off the feature. If you don't have anything to ride on, no worries - you can still practice all of these techniques on flat ground, just use a marker (like a stick or a crack on the ground) in place of the feature.
Here are the links to tutorials for each technique mentioned in this video:

Riding Down Steep: • How To Ride Steep Trai...

Pedal Up: • Building My Dream Indo...
And here's the link to the FIRST five trials skills to learn - watch this one first if you haven't already seen it, this is the foundational stuff that will help make the content in this video easier to learn. • Trials Bike Riding For...

Your tutorials are very good. I’ve been riding MTB for 4 years and these are skills that are very useful on the trails. Especially Moab.
Awesome! I’m so glad to hear they are coming in handy - that’s a big reason why I wanted to share these, so everyone could apply them to MTB as well! 👍
Nice video as always. If it wasn't for these videos I probably would've went straight to try to back hop so on behalf of all of us begginers thank you
Thanks so much!! Guaranteed, these things will make a huge difference when it comes to learning the more advanced movements. I had to learn that the hard way! 👊
Thanks for these free tutorials.
Happy to do it!
`Back again in winter 2023, for a brush up in cold Winter weather! Cheers!
Welcome back! :)
I love your bike
Thank you!
как всегда, спасибо, и лайк.
loving this...
🙏
wow nice video it helps as we practice on trials biking here in the Philippine....
Thanks!! Glad it’s helpful!
Love from India
What do you mean "no extra points for crashing" ?? Am i doing it wrong??? haha great video again! :D
Hahaha - I meant the height of the obstacle doesn’t add bonus points. You are doing great!! 👊🙌🙏
💚
Sooo I have a full suspension mtb how much trials stuff do you think I can do on it without needing a trials bike?
Honestly you could probably learn or adapt quite a bit - and then it would be even more useful on the trail!
Great?
Do yoi have a video on bike fitment?
🤙
I did one on wheel size, with the different trials bikes. That might help?
@@SuperRiderTVyeah, I saw that. I am more interested in handlebar and stem.
Lee Mecormack suggest RAD: Rider Area Distance, Is that a measure you use?
How do you if a bike its you?
cheers, and thanks for the videos they are a great i nspiration and help :)
Oops! Your bunny hop link is the same as your Riding Down Steep Link. I'm really interested to see the bunny hop tutorial that you pick. Also thank you from a total noob.
Ah, thanks for catching this, I’ll get it fixed now!
I use clip less pedals. Is that fine?
It’s fine to start, especially if you’re going to use the skills on your MTB. Eventually you’ll want to learn these skills on flat pedals, that way you’re not reliant on clipless to do the technique.
In India this kind of cycle is not available
They are hard to find, but there’s a bunch of riders in India - check out Ronn_MTB on Instagram
