Looks good! I'm curious about cooked lettuce. I enjoy cooking however I've never cooked lettuce. I'd prefer a side salad with the lettuce & tomatoes (cucumbers, etc.) I cook with tomatoes (so many varieties & recipes.) Delicious! Happy, healthy eating y'all!

That's true for unrefined olive oil, but they're using extra light olive oil, which is refined. Refined olive oil is almost colorless and tasteless but the smoke point is much higher (468F for extra light) so it's appropriate for cooking.
In short: use extra virgin olive oil (the best) for salads and extra light olive oil for cooking.
Actually Shay, the non-wooden cutter board things hold more bacteria than wood ones .. Just to let you know.

saving some of the stock from the pasta is used to add to the sauce to keep it from getting too thick. Also since the stock is from the pasta, and not just plain water, it adds more flavor to the sauce as well. :)
