Pixel 7 pro has a different ultrawide sensor & larger field of view + an additional telephoto lens. So pixel 7 vs iphone 14 pro seems an unfair comparison in my opinion. But it's crazy to see how amazing the results are of pixel 7 for less than half the price of 14pro!

Pixel 7 uses the same ultra wide sensor from last year's pixel 6 pro of 117 degree field of view, while 7 pro uses much more wider ultra wide sensor of 121 degree field of view.
The ultrawide sensor is same....the lenses are diffrent

You guys could have done a better job by including pixel seven pro. Seven pros zoom camera, video recording is awesome and could have produced something that could have been difficult for iPhone to match.

An actual expensive camera would have its own color science on Auto mode. Most photographers take a very neutral shot in RAW that doesn't look colorful at all.
In post, they can make it look like anything they want to.

bro, 7 & 7 pro doesn't have the same ultrawide camera! 7 pro has upgraded UW with wider FOV & autofocus to use as macro camera.
Essentially pixel 7 UW is same from last year & is so narrow I wouldn't even consider it as UW, that the main reason I skipped P7 off my list as effectively we are left with the main camera only on regular P7

Unfortunately, in all the reviews about Google Pixel 7 no one mentions anything about the mediocre display brightness.
I really wanted to get away from my iPhone 11 and Apple "ecosystem" as such, I purchased a Google Pixel 7.
I fiddled around with the display for a while and even at 100% (maximum setting) Google Pixel 7 is not as bright as the iPhone 11 at 70 - 75%.
Not only that, but by changing the viewing angle, the display becomes yet more disappointing.
I'm sorry, Google. I returned the Pixel 7 and purchased an iPhone 13.

thing with pixel 7 is, most (if not all) of its software features can be ported to almost any phones which has an active custom rom development community and a snapdragon chip.
Most features only work well on a popular Xiaomi phone and that too not perfectly. Can never reply on them like on a pixel

On the other hand, I find that the sliders to be able to manage shadows, lights and white balance are really underestimated, and should be available on all smartphones.
Just as testers forget that iPhones have the photography profile option which changes a lot of things.
And above all, just by touching the iPhone screen we solve the photo exposure problem.
Many testers have forgotten that people come to UA-cam to learn more about their devices and find solutions if possible.
Video is great.
But sorry, it should have been either Pixel 7 v iPhone 14 (same price range, also the most logical price one would spend on either phones) or 7 Pro v iPhone 14 Pro with 7 Pro getting better UW camera and dedicated Zoom Lens.

I am not sure, but comparing the photos on a realme laptop might not have been a good idea? i am not sure which model you were using but the colour accuracy might be a bit off which might have biased the results!

Don't know about 120W, but with 67W it will safe and battery health will also be good easily for 3-4 years.

@@Suresh_M Yes it will not affect battery but, it will not fast charge the phone.
For example, like if you charge a oppo phone with oppo 67W charger it will charge at 67W , but if you charge the oppo phone with mi 67W charger it will charge the phone only at 10W , and 10W mi charger would also charge the oppo phone with 10W.

For normal users it basically comes down to social media uploads, I use pixel, but the video upload or image upload is not that great in wp, intsa or fb. Right now every social media is promoting video content, I guess thats a win for iphone.

Comparing the budget pixel and an iphone more than twice the cost , and that two for different reasons is not usefull nor fair.
I doubt that the focal length is not proper in selfie camera of pixel, it focuses mostly on the background. Maybe it's a defect in your unit, you should try comparing selfie camera with other unit also.

Google pulled it quite ahead but not on par with iPhone yet. iPhones are way way superior if you use 60fps; cool thing is you can slow down a 60fps video still the slomo looks super crisp.

Some of us see the video by zooming and filling it to screen so if you add a bit more padding to elements at corner of the video then it video would be flawless on the filled screen too.😊

This is the only review that I've felt unfair.... It would have been better if it was comparision between Pixel 7 pro and Iphone 14 pro, as because the Pixel 7 pro has better improved ultrawide camera and other features.
