Everyone who appreciates the psychedelic sound of The Doors 5 to 1 has that aggressive, downbeat attitude that I just love from the doors at this time of their life. I was in high school when I came across the doors. I found this album Waiting For The Sun by The Doors, I instantly became a Doors fan after hearing this whole album. Thank you, Doors for the awesome memory of my childhood for showing me the way that no matter what mood I’m in or where I’m at in life. I can always turn to you and listen to you. Thank you again. Love you guys.

I saw a video for this that the Doors made when Jim was still alive. They were marching down the beach and then Jim was tied up to like a pier or fence or something (I can’t remember) and the others acted like a firing squad. I have a vivid memory of blood dripping on flowers. I was fascinated because this was from the days before videos were made very often and it reflected the band’s vision. I searched You Tube for it with no luck. I’m sure it must still exist somewhere. At least in the Doors archive.
