- No tipping!
Did you know that in China, tipping is rude?
And that V-signs are offensive in Australia!
All the countries in the world have little things they're sensitive about.
But don't worry cause today, @eisayo & the team are gonna tell you about all of them.
The amount of misunderstandings tourists are going to have to go through in these countries is hillarious
Omg true
I guess I will need to rewatch this video if I ever visit one of these countries because apparently if I do something right it’s wrong for them!
@@Adriansdr07 yeah

As an Argentinian I can confirm that the fact that we are always arriving late is not true. We are usually on time, and, if you arrive 20/40 minutes later you'll probably get insulted.

In Thailand, it's not rude to finish your food. Throughout my entire life I've never seen someone said that or get offended when I finished the food, I mostly get insult for not finishing, because there were a quote for every kid to sing before eating to always finish your food everytime you eat just like japan
I can confirm that as a Thai.
In China it's not rude to finish your food too, it's the opposite.
In china and in thailand it is not rude
@@wildlegendd Exactly. I'd only get comments if I didn't finish lmao

True quote. "Kindness is the language everybody understands"
About Turkey/Türkiye: Letting bread fall is rude, but stepping on bread is even ruder. Puting hands on your pockets : in school and some other places it might be considered rude. Also some people might also consider it rude . And puting your hands on your hips, well, nobody does that here, so you are either gonna be considered weird or rude. About the kidness thing , that's true.
I'm from Thailand and I have never heard of it being rude to not finish your plate. It's always encouraged people finish their food to not be wasteful.

Very true! The teachers, parents or adults even force the children to finish off their plate. Even if they’re already full.

True i can relate
i understand that every country has its culture, and they understand same thing differently, but if showing up on time, or not wasting food is "rude" then its straight up bs
crazy as it may sounds, in those countries if you are a guest and you clean up the plate when someone serves the food for you, it can subtly means they aren't serving enough foods for you, and that's a shame for them.

Fun fact: in Italy, the "horse sign" has the same meaning as in Spain, but it's not considered as an insult. Also, in southern Italy, this sign is used to drive away bad luck, especially when you think that someone is wishing you bad things (which is a really common thing in South Italy, trust me)

As a bulgarian I can say that the head nodding situation is a bit weird. It is tricky because both ways are accepted, so sometimes the person in front of you nods left to right to say yes and other times uses the "normal" up and down nodding. The funny part is that a lot of people (myself included) use both up and down and left to right nodding. So you never really know what to expect.

The “no touchy touchy” made me laughing 😂
I am glad the issues were fixed, and thank you for bringing great content!
I'm a Brazilian and the ok sinal is not actually a big deal, at least where I live. As far as I know the signal is just considered something outdated when is used for saying "ok" ou "top" but can be used like it is says on the video, but is used like upside-down, and in the high of the waist, and if someone look at it, the person who did the signal just can cause punch who looked (not in the face and with the intension of knock-out the person, is more like a strange joke).
Sorry for my English, it's not perfect.
Interesting..
yeah, I remember the kids at 5th grade - 7th grade doing that kind of stuff 😂

As a Thai, if you don’t finish the plate
The slate, you shall be.
Bro I'm from China and my parents always tell me to finish my plate
1:16 as a Vietnamese myself, that cross finger you did is fine. The cross finger you were talking about is when the tip of your pointer finger and middle finger touch each other, use middle finger to bend pointer finger to make a hole, like you said, it represents a sensitive body part of women. You can do it to your close friends, it's fine, but doing it publicly, you will be like the "creepiest person" and nobody wants to start a conversation with you. As my fellow Vietnamese, I know this isn't 100% correct, but it's based on my experience. Anyway, good work for making such quality and useful information Nas, keep up the good work :D
(I might need this video in the future :>>>>> )
Yeah as a Vietnamese I have the same opinion as yours

There's a small mistake about Greek gesture! Is rude but doesn't mean you rubbing into someone's face 😉
It means like you are stupid or you say stupid things, is not polite for sure :)
Good to know I'm not the only Greek person watching these videos.
Kindness🌼🧡👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Actually, here in Greece you have to show your palm/hand fast (and maybe hit it with your other palm if you want to make it more clear). Doing it slowly shows signs like "Stop" or "Thank You". And yes, people can get confused sometimes😂. It also mostly means that the other person is either did something stupid, or that he's a jerk.
Btw today I learned that we are the only ones using it. Nice.

3:09 doing this hand sign while talking to someone is considered extremely rude in our country, Uzbekistan. This is mainly used as a sign to say shut up and listen while you are shouting at someone.
