It's about a cause that's very deep to me and probably to you.
It's the story of "My Israel and Palestine" and it's a complicated one....

I know your point is kind but I disagree with you. As a Vietnamese, I have been taught how my ancestors FOUGHT to protect the country. My country was invaded and colonized by China, France, Japan, USA, they never wanted to free Vietnam.
Vietnamese people had been slaves for hundreds of years UNTIL they fought and gain victory. If they just prayed for peace, if they wanted to be friends with the invaders, the country people would have been slaves for thousands years later.
As a Black Vietnamese person I 100% agree. Victims of colonization on both sides of my family unfortunately.

We have to spread love even at hard times
I pray for better days where our politicians and governments actually listen to the people and give up on the ego. I know Israel has made many bad things and mistakes along the way, and Palestine had many opportunities to negotiate but they refused. Us, the people here, 90% of us truly believe in peace even at the price of compromise. I am willing to compromise and put my ego down and apologize for past mistakes to create a true peace. Both sides need to be ready for communication by words and not violent. There is enough place here for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must keep our faith in god and good.

I read a lot of comments here from Jewish people, and those who live in Israel, but no comments from people who are living in Palestine. I hope you can see how this whole dialogue and narrative here is so one sided. Yes, we all just want to live in peace, but we also want the freedom and dignity to come with it. So please acknowledge the history of how the current conflicts have started, the land thefts, genocides, ethnic cleansing and the extremely one sided power dynamic between the two country. Just an acknowledgement would do.

Judaism doesn’t proselytize. It’s not a universalizing religion. Almost no religion does besides Islam and Christianity. Most religions don’t care about conversion. You don’t get punished after you die for not believing them. Judaism does say you have to be monotheist or god won’t reward you after you die. And it’s not really specific about what that means. So yea, try to wrap your head around the fact that not all religions believe in punishment for not converting. Not in life, nor the afterlife. Abrahamic religions are absolutist. Almost all other religions are not like that.

i know, but what im saying is that even after posting this video and a full year passes, no progress has been made.
As an Indian American teen, this hits close to home for me as I used to consider all Pakistanis as enemies when I was younger without even giving a second thought. Then when I grew older, I met a lot of Pakistanis and even befriended some of them. I soon started to realize that both sides are at fault and that there needs to be peace, and I wish that all Indians and Pakistanis, including those that read this comment, would think that too. Thank you Nas for making this video, I hope that this video serves as an eye opener to people who live in conflict zones and want to see peace.

But I always knew that Palestine has so many good people! And I always knew that most Arabs are nice and friendly! Growing up in that place of the world and also having the posibility to travel and get to know about people and things, he managed to create this amazing videoclip.
What I saw here was that Nas altough is a very succesful person and worked his way into prosperity, he never forgot and Will never forget to not Take something as simple as "Peace" for granted. He also, prooved how many Times he was treated badly because of who he îs, pointing out that if his background was diferent, he might have hâd a better life, meaning Less problems to face.
