First of all relax take a breath just because they have adhd. Doesn’t mean they are an addict it just means they have a personality that is prone to having habits which could be good or bad . Schedules and time management skills organized daily routines and good diet which become deeply ingrained important things. having a good school program presents with teachers without overwhelming everyone is a very difficult balancing act .

used to be that kid, I am 35 with a full time job and a family. Not an addict. 🤷🏻♂️
You're the exception to the rule. Not the rule.
Then you either don’t have adhd or your an exemption, I’ve been a addict my whole life never been able to keep a job etc etc until I got control of my adhd
I'm 49 with a full time job and a family... but I definitely saw that i had addictive tendencies and stayed away from drugs/alcohol. mom's an alcoholic which probably helped with that. I knew if I started, i wouldn't be able to stop. So even surgeries, i'd ask for less pain meds.
Hoq can you say youre not an addict if he didn't say what the addiction is to..
I used to play video games for over 8 hours a day. I do have an addictive personality, i just stay away from the things that are bad for me. I stay away from hard drugs, and games. Hard as hell to kick damn good food
Am I broken if I am a grown up with these issues? Although not visiting my parents bed but I am literally AFRAID at night for things that dont exist
Definitely not, just the fact you are questioning yourself and talking about it are healthy signs. Not getting enough sleep can definitely affect many aspects of your life, seek help and you will be fine :).
Methyl b does help a ton!! But NAC, ashwaghanda, drinking kefir daily, then D3, B5, L Theanine, Mg Glycinate, L- Threonate and maxxing amino acids with whole foods, meat with the fat on it, whole milk, grassfed butter, Redmond salt, good grains like barley and steel cut oats (just grind and pour in a smoothy) and make sure it's organic. As much organic fruit, veg, meat that you can afford will improve your absorbtion of nutrients. No sugars, deff no fake ones, no fat free bs, no seed oil or crisco crap. Lard, tallow, butter ❤

Oh god, how do we do this. Just cut it off completely(not that he does, but believe me he could) I mean in the respect of controlling the upcoming addictive nature. Do you deny it or control it?
Trying to control will make things worse in my experience. Offering healthy and fun alternatives will be much more helpful. What games does he like? If it's building kind of game then woodshop or something where he builds things. If it's 3rd person shooter games then paintball or airsoft. Just saying no without giving a engaging alternative will just make them either hide it or latch onto something worse.
My child decided to not take his meds and ended up attempted suicide within 7 months of being off

This is the last person to be giving medical advice on the topic of ADHD. He is not a Psychatrist, Anyone who believes this non sense needs their head checked. Have your child seen by a Psychatrist who specializes in ADHD. Being medicated isn’t always the best choice for everyone but there are non stimulants that work just as well for some people. But buying into what this clown is saying you’re not only doing a injustice to yourself but also your child.

Years of psychiatrist over medicating kids and you want us to trust them? My husband went through a bought of loss and depression a couple years ago. Psychiatrist had him so medicated that he was balled up on the couch afraid to leave the house!!! After i visited the shrink screaming at what he was doing to my husband and months of convincing...i finally got him off all meds and back to work! Scariest thing I've ever been through.
So yeah, we'll try vitamins 1st before medication... everytime.

Please do your research on what a Dr of psychology is educated with and a Dr of biology learns. Then on top of that this man has an eidetic memory.

@@mbb4302 if you look at the back of the water bottle it will have ingredients to make it slightly alkaline, you water should never contain chemicals. This is what I called dead water
